"Celebrated 520 (May 20th) by booking a more upscale meal that day, and the experience was great ❤️. The location is fantastic! It's a 5-minute walk to Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell), so we went straight there after breakfast when it was less crowded. Regarding service, I have to say: it was the rainy season, and there were many staff members standing at the entrance, but they only bowed. It felt awkward watching adults and children run into the hotel in the rain to check in, and checking out involved carrying our own luggage in the rain too."

"From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt incredibly relaxed. The hot springs, especially the private ones, were amazing for photos and so comfortable. The tatami room was also super cozy. The highlight, though, was definitely the ramen in the evening – it was so delicious, I had to have two bowls! And the hand soap in the room was really good too, very moisturizing; I wanted to find it to buy, but couldn't."

"One of the best hotels in our 2 week trip all over Kyushu. It’s situated right from the exit from railway station. But the best part is hotel’s wonderful SPA zone on 20th and 21 floors which is free to use during your stay. Hotel stuff is very positive and polite. Facilities are new and beautiful. It is so good that we didn’t go anywhere in the morning and just stay in the hotel to go to onsen once again. I’m definitely want to return here once again. View from the window also was wonderful"

"I booked this hotel specifically for the private onsen in the room. When I first turned on the water, there was a strange smell, and I noticed some floating particles, which was quite off-putting. However, I later realized it was the natural sulfur smell of the hot spring, and the particles were inherent to the onsen water itself (as explained in the brochure), which put my mind at ease. The hotel environment is fantastic. The breakfast and dinner menus were different each of the two nights, which was wonderful. The food alone made it worth the price; it's the best value-for-money onsen hotel I've ever stayed at. It was my favorite part of the entire Kyushu trip! I definitely want to come back again in the winter."

"The stay was decent overall, but there is definitely room for improvement. While the general experience was okay, the room cleanliness wasn't up to par—specifically, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the cups and the bathroom. Additionally, the door leading from the balcony to the hot spring room couldn't be securely locked, which was a bit concerning. With better housekeeping and maintenance, this would be a much better place to stay."

"It was conveniently located near alot if food places and parking spots. Sadly, the hotel's parking was limited to normal sedan vehicles which my rented veh could not park in. The service staffs were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding me towards another location to park. Only 1 shortfall was that the shower head outlets were mouldy."

"Clean and spacious room…it’s very relaxing to stay at the lobby while listening the lady who was playing the piano while drinking the  free drinks..yes you can ger your free drinks at the small bar like coffee,the staff are so friendly and nice..the location is best. Staying at the rooftop with the small bar with free drinks too is nice while watching the Beppu tower in front of you"

"Pros: ”I booked a room with a stone bathtub, but in the end, I didn't use it because I went to the communal onsen instead, which was absolutely wonderful. I also really liked the drinking water dispenser provided in the room, allowing me to get refills throughout the day. The food was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service.” Cons: ”The only area I would like to suggest for improvement is the breakfast. There was no coffee served, and I didn't quite understand why guests need to pay extra just to have coffee. I believe it would be much better if you could at least provide basic black coffee for your guests.”"
