The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel!
We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didn’t quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.

I forgot to take a photo before checking in, so I took this one the next day before checking out.
The environment is really nice, with smart appliances throughout, and the owner's service is truly amazing! We were picked up and dropped off by car! The next morning, we had breakfast in the first-floor restaurant before heading to the large rooftop terrace. Even the restaurant cook was very nice!
JJDD, if you're traveling to Jiuhua Mountain, don't hesitate to choose this B&B!

Came to Huangshan during the off-peak season, and although it was still crowded, I thankfully caught the only clear day recently, so no regrets! As they say, after seeing Huangshan, there's no need to see other mountains. I hope to come back again on a weekday sometime. The owner of the guesthouse was very welcoming and provided hiking poles. The food at their family restaurant was also delicious.

Guest UserA lovely opportunity to experience Chinese hospitality. I stayed with my cat and we felt very welcome. The owner is very attentive and looks well after his guests. It is good to know that the reception is in the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A quiet area and house, just perfect if you need a good rest or travel with an anxious pet.

Guest UserPerfect! As a city dweller, I love finding quiet spots like this to just chill out. The butler mentioned that the lotus flowers will be in full bloom by the end of June – I can't imagine how beautiful that will be! It's located right in the heart of the Yongxing Lake scenic area. For the full Fish Lantern Circle Reunion, you do need to head to the Shaiqiu Square, but you can still see the two fish meet on the bridge from here. If you want the complete experience with better participation, the square is probably best, but if you prefer to avoid the crowds, just sitting in the courtyard and watching is wonderful. You can even see the fireworks and Gatling gun effects! This visit, I spent most of my time interacting with the big white geese, which I really enjoyed! And the big tree in the courtyard is so well-grown and perfectly rounded! It was a very satisfying stay. A quick photo under the big tree turns out especially well, and it wasn't even hot in the middle of summer! After seeing the fish lanterns in Chengkan, the ones in Hongcun just seem like a joke, haha! Apparently, the Tangmo giant ao fish are also beautiful! I'll have to visit sometime.

The hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted .
Room is clean and functional .
Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage.
He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 .
So many restaurants too!!!!!!!!
He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u
He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop .

Hidden gem // Cosy homestay with lovely and caring hosts - 10/10 recommend!
We loved our stay at Villa Emerald Valley especially due to:
+ Lovely hosts: super friendly, multi generational, from the neighborhood and always keen to fulfill all our wishes even before we knew them
+ Bright, modern, clean and cosy rooms: Big windows, clean and modern bathroom facilities (great hot shower that is truly needed after a day in the mountain), really comfy beds, water boiler, etc.
+ Nice common area: game room, restaurant, tea table, small pool
+ Tasty food: breakfast, lunch and dinner freshly prepared, many options (also vegetarian), fresh fruits and tea, decent prices -> we loved their tomato&egg, bamboo, qingcai and tofu dishes
+ Smooth communication and great service: quick responses via WeChat, airport pick up (200¥ one way), support with ticket booking for huangshan, carrying luggage, extra fruits, etc.
+ Emerging into the community: as it was tea harvest time, the hosts took us to the tea mountain close by where we could help picking tea leaves
+ Location: huangshan is overall really touristy with a lot of group tourism and thus overall probably not the nicest place to stay for a longer time. However, the home stay, while being close to all main tourist attractions, lies very calm and right beside the mountains where locals live and work, so it does not feel touristy at all and you could easily spend several days there to explore and relax
Also , the hosts can speak some English, so communication for foreigners is not a problem.

I checked in with the intention of giving it a try, and the room I booked was a pleasant surprise. The view was stunning from the window, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. It was a truly relaxing stay. The value for money was truly excellent, and the hot springs were fantastic. With so many different pools, I could find the perfect temperature for my needs, leaving me feeling completely relaxed. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The parking lot is spacious and free. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place—it's a surefire hit!

The landlord is very enthusiastic and patiently answered my questions. The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration style is what I like. The landlord is very considerate and put some books for guests to read when they are bored. This is something I rarely encounter when staying in a B&B outside. Thumbs up👍
