Pet Friendly Hotels in Chongqing

A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

Staying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks. Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares. The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food. This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

Hidden next to Shibati, this boutique B&B boasts a Wabi-sabi inspired retro design. The combination of old wood, red brick arches, and soft lighting creates an atmosphere where every detail is thoughtfully crafted. The rooms are quiet and elegant, with gentle window views, offering a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Each step reveals a new scenic view, blending the charm of the old city with high-end aesthetics. It's a truly relaxing and healing stay. Highly recommended, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this eco-lodge in Wulong. The eco-friendly cabins are thoughtfully designed, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings while still being comfortable and well equipped. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after visiting the nearby attractions. A special thank you to the owner, who is Cantonese. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He provided detailed advice on how to visit the national parks, recommended routes and attractions, and made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. If you are looking for a unique accommodation experience close to Wulong's spectacular scenery, this eco-lodge is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

My stay here exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently with a consistently gentle and patient attitude. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities were comprehensive, and the hot water was reliable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The public areas were clean and spacious, giving the whole place a luxurious yet comfortable feel. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area. Highly recommend it to all travelers!

Highly recommend this place for a family road trip to Chongqing! Parking downstairs was super convenient, which is a huge plus when driving. The customer service was excellent, and communication was smooth. We had to check out early due to a change in plans, and the host was very understanding and promptly refunded the remaining room fees, which was incredibly considerate. There are tons of great food options right downstairs, so you can just step out and eat. It's also very close to all the major attractions, making sightseeing easy. Excellent value for money!

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

This hotel is my top choice for business trips, offering excellent transport links. It's close to the subway, making commuting a breeze, and parking is completely free if you're driving. The airport shuttle service is always punctual and reliable. The daily breakfast buffet is hot and delicious, perfect for a good meal before heading out for the day. The rooms are quiet and tidy. Overall, it's perfectly suited for business travel.

The property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night. The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

”I’ve seen comments saying that the cheaper single rooms in China tend to reek of cigarette smoke, but thankfully this hotel had no tobacco smell at all—that was a plus. That said, it didn’t feel as clean as the reviews suggested. Still, the owner was friendly, so I’d say it’s fine overall.”
