I've been to Sanya many times, but this is my first stay at Rosewood. My excellent impression of Rosewood Hong Kong prompted this booking. The hotel's hardware is decent, though the drop-off area felt a bit mismatched for a luxury hotel. The service was good; the butler and manager were sincere and prompt in addressing feedback. What I appreciated even more was the follow-up care after check-out. Breakfast is à la carte, and I feel the consistency could be improved. I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant in the evening, and the quality was quite good.

The environment here is absolutely top-notch. There are so many picturesque spots by the sea, and even the hotel's landscaping is beautifully done and very pleasing to the eye. For breakfast, my favorites were the lobster wontons and the durian soufflé; both my friend and I thought they were quite delicious. However, the variety wasn't extensive. For instance, the bacon was a bit tough, the croissants weren't crispy, and the fried rice options were pretty much the same every day. The pastries and breads also didn't change much, with more emphasis on bread and very few cakes. The watermelon this season wasn't great; some pieces weren't very red and tasted a bit off.
The room decor has a mahogany style, which felt a little dated. On the third day, the toilet area suddenly started buzzing, but then it stopped on its own, so we didn't call staff. The lights in the room flickered when first turned on but then stabilized after a while. A minor drawback was the occasional smell of smoke coming from the bathroom, and I'm not sure where it originated. The toiletries provided were abundant, and the moisturizer had a lovely, subtle grapefruit scent.
There was a small incident: on the first day, after doing my makeup, I put my concealer in the bathrobe pocket, and it was taken by the turn-down service staff. I realized it was missing on the afternoon of the third day and called the front desk. The male staff member who answered said he would ask his colleagues and get back to me. By the afternoon of the fourth day, I still hadn't received a call back, so I called the front desk again. A female staff member said she would look into it. After calling again, I was told they couldn't find the lost makeup. Since it wasn't very expensive, I didn't pursue it further. I also blame myself for not putting it away properly… This is a reminder to everyone not to leave valuables in bathrobe pockets, and also a suggestion to the hotel to check pockets before collecting bathrobes and other items.
What was really disappointing this time was that the family pool and water slides were closed for maintenance! There was no notification about the closure before we arrived. My friend and I were really looking forward to those slides, so it was a huge letdown and felt like a significant part of the experience was missing!

Five-star review! To Diana, Raffles Hotel Butler.
Our trip to Raffles was made truly luxurious and personal by Diana's butler service. Even before check-in, she proactively communicated with us to understand our needs and meticulously planned every detail of our itinerary. Upon arrival, she provided thoughtful guidance throughout. Our room was already prepared with a welcome gift tailored to our preferences and a handwritten card, instantly melting away our travel fatigue.
Her service was marked by a surprising foresight – noticing our interest in local cuisine, she immediately recommended and booked a hard-to-find specialty restaurant for us. Before a sudden change in weather, she preemptively reminded us to prepare for rain and even adjusted our outdoor activity suggestions. She was available 24/7, responding efficiently and patiently whether we had questions about local culture or needed assistance with any requests.
Diana's professional and meticulous service truly embodies the spirit of the Raffles brand. If I visit Raffles again, I will definitely request her service, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a high-quality holiday experience!
The lobby is definitely the highlight! The sunrise in the morning wasn't particularly stunning though. The room decor is a bit dated, and breakfast was just okay. However, the service was excellent, and we had a dedicated butler to assist us. Right outside the hotel is Jiuli Run Street, which is great for dining and daily shopping, and there's also a nice M1 Coffee Factory Museum. The hotel's private beach wasn't crowded, the sand was very fine, and the Pink Elephant bar was quite romantic!
The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded me to a room with a higher floor and a better view. The room is uniquely designed, brightly lit and cozy (many hotel rooms are not very brightly lit), which is very satisfactory. We had dinner at the hotel, the restaurant service was very enthusiastic, and they specifically noted that our dishes should be lighter, and the dishes served were really good, thank you 🙏. The hotel is next to the scenic spot. Although it was drizzling, it was still nice to borrow an umbrella from the front desk to walk around. In February, I could smell the faint fragrance of osmanthus and saw many flowers I had never seen before. It is a very good hotel!
Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much.
I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

Traveling with friends, we chose the Baoting Qixianling Hot Spring Resort Hotel. First, we were immediately impressed by its tranquil environment, lush greenery, and fresh air. The hot spring water felt wonderfully smooth on our skin. Second, the hotel staff's service attitude was exceptional; they were always ready to help, making us feel completely at home. The hotel restaurant's dinner was surprisingly good value for money, exceeding our expectations. We would definitely come back here for another vacation if we have the chance.
This was my first trip and I had a fantastic time! The cost was reasonable, and we avoided all the back-and-forth traffic that usually comes with popular tourist routes. Let me start with check-in. I'm from Haikou and after seeing good reviews and reasonable prices, I drove 2.5 hours specifically to check this place out, and it definitely didn't disappoint. First, parking was easy with plenty of spots right in front of the lobby. When I arrived, the front desk was quite busy, so I didn't expect overly enthusiastic service. With so many guests, I understood, and I was just grateful that the staff processed my check-in quickly. Second, the service was outstanding. I had booked a package deal, and due to an oversight during booking, I booked a king-sized bed for our family of four. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, the staff immediately changed us to a twin room. The room was very spacious, with a small balcony and access to the swimming pool. Xiao Lin, who was on duty that day, patiently taught me about the activities available at the resort. The swimming pool attendant was also very friendly, and the archery range attendant, being from mainland China, was very outgoing. The kids loved the complimentary archery session, then went on to play bumper cars and laser tag. They had an absolute blast, and the prices were reasonable. I ended up buying two more '3 activities for 98 yuan' packages.
Third, the food. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, probably around 60 different items. The restaurant's operating hours were also very considerate; breakfast ran until 10:30 AM and lunch until 2:30 PM. It's truly designed for a relaxed vacation. I do have a small suggestion: the Chinese restaurant's service and decor were excellent, but the Hainan sour bamboo shoot with sliced pork dish they offered that day, while delicious in Hainan, really impacted the restaurant's aroma. The entire restaurant smelled of it. I suggest perhaps offering more universally appealing dishes that don't have such a strong scent. On a positive note, the steamed yellow croaker at the restaurant was exceptionally good; my daughter said it was the best steamed fish she'd ever had. Oh, and there are also many great food options around the hotel. We ate at the hotel on our first day, and both the price and taste were good. But we also wanted to experience local cuisine, so we went into town. We were lucky to find a restaurant called 'Hunan Renjia' – the proprietress's warm welcome immediately convinced us. Our family had four dishes, all very generous portions. I highly recommend the fan bone, stir-fried crab, Japanese tofu, and steamed egg. The total bill was 245 yuan. Our kids were so satisfied; they truly cleaned their plates.
There are also many activities available. The three water activities are all grouped together: swimming, a water park, and a lazy river. (When buying tickets, make sure to check if the water park is included, as it costs 60 yuan per person if not.) There's also a naughty castle, a gym, and a beachcombing activity (starts at 9:00 AM; I recommend kids wear sandals for this, or even go barefoot to feel the seawater. Don't use the small water shoes provided by the hotel as they fill with water and are hard to walk in, preventing kids from fully experiencing the sea.) The guest rooms are also really nice. We received complimentary fresh fruit, and there's a big bathtub which we loved. The kids bathed in it on the first day, but honestly, we barely spent any time in the room afterward; there were too many fun activities to enjoy! We checked out at noon that day and didn't return to Haikou until 7:00 PM. Next time, I'll definitely aim for a three-day, two-night package. Well, I hope this review provides some helpful tips for future travelers. Oh, and if you're a light sleeper, I also recommend this place. The soundproofing in their rooms is truly excellent; not a single noise. This is my first time writing such a detailed hotel review.

【Neutral Review】
1. Reception and Responsiveness:
@Qianqianlulu's reception was excellent; she responded quickly to my requests, and her response speed was very fast 👏.
2. Hygiene and Facilities: The room's hygiene met the standards for a star-rated hotel, and the bedding was well-arranged and clean.
3. The kids were happy with the setup of the family room 👍.
4. Room for Improvement: The indoor swimming pool water was quite cold at 29 degrees Celsius. Compared to star-rated hotel pools in Macau, the temperature here isn't as pleasant.
【Exceeded Expectations】
1. The hotel had a rich variety of activities. I specifically set aside a day to enjoy them at the hotel. A special shout-out to the activities coordinator; she was very patient with the children and even called me to confirm the meeting time and place.
2. The hotel's location is great, and there are space-themed activities. The astronaut suits and airplane-shaped trolleys in the family room were a huge hit with the kids.
3. Thoughtful Service: For the sunrise viewing activity, they provided hot water and cookies 🍪, which was very heartwarming 🥰, and the cookies were delicious 😋.
My only minor complaint is that the second room we were moved to was quite far away. Because there were fewer people around, my child was a bit scared of the quiet and wouldn't walk by herself at night 🙈.

The hotel is grand and beautiful; the rooms are spacious and well-equipped; breakfast is plentiful; and there's a covered parking lot, making parking very convenient. What's more, the service is excellent 👍! The front desk staff patiently and thoroughly explained the room's orientation and sunlight exposure. We weren't entirely satisfied with the first room assigned, and they immediately arranged for staff to show us rooms with different orientations. The staff were all smiles and spoke softly throughout, which definitely deserves a 👍! This level of service alone makes it worth staying. Highly recommended!

HHweiling OwThe place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area.
We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point.
There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views.
From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day.
You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful.
This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.
GGuest UserLiving in the Cameisu Haitang Bay Poly Store is really worth it! I felt intimate from getting off the bus. The front desk helped with the luggage and introduced the surrounding gameplay in detail. It was simply a ”live strategy”. The room is designed to be super stylish, the log wind is matched with fresh green plants, the balcony is facing a coconut grove, and you can see the sun on the tip of the leaf in the morning, which is too healing.
The bedding is soft and more comfortable than the home. At night, I sleep particularly heavy listening to the sound of the waves. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the hot water is out in seconds, and even the shower gel is a faint coconut fragrance, which is superb with the atmosphere of Haitang Bay.
YYour Jamaican GirlI had such an amazing stay at Sanya Sujuan Luxury Hotel. What I enjoyed the most was waking up to the soothing sound of the waves and the breathtaking sunrise 🌅 The hotel staff was very hospitable and had no problem being at my beck and call whenever I needed any assistance. The room was clean, well managed and offered many useful amenities.
The hotel’s location is ideal as it is right next to the beach and is just walking distance from many amazing restaurants and stores. I enjoyed being able to explore various cafes and beachfront restaurants.
I must admit the highlight of my trip was definitely the vibrant nightlife. From the endless fireworks 🧨 to the variety of musical options. Dancing the night away, taking midnight strolls on the beach…what more could I ask for?
It was overall a tremendous trip. I would highly recommend taking a short trip if you’re trying to escape the cold or just need a little escape when the world becomes too heavy 🧘♀️ It’s the perfect place to unwind and reset ✨
MM58887****I really liked the decor style, the room was spacious enough, and the service was good. The location is a bit out of the way, on the edge of town, but it's very quiet and not affected by the noise from bars. It's a great option for those who prefer peace and quiet, definitely recommended!
CcomradavidThis hotel is really great! The room was spotless and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were complete, making for a very relaxing stay. The pool and the sea view from the room are unbeatable, right next to the beach. The front desk staff were warm and enthusiastic, always resolving any issues promptly. The location is convenient with plenty of dining options nearby. I'll definitely stay here again next time!
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeper personally came to pick us up. The service was very intimate and water and toiletries were prepared. The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. Unfortunately, these two days are cloudy, but fortunately, this trip time is short. I will choose here next time.

First, the hotel's location is undeniably the best.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail. The lobby exuded elegance, with its modern decor and inviting ambiance. The hotel staff promptly greeted me with warm smiles and provided exceptional service throughout my stay. Their professionalism and helpfulness truly enhanced my overall experience.
My room was a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort. Immaculately maintained, it showcased the hotel's dedication to providing a high standard of cleanliness. The crisp linens, fresh towels, and spotless surfaces made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the breathtaking views and the hotel's pristine swimming pool. Situated on an upper floor, the panoramic vistas of the city skyline were truly awe-inspiring. I spent hours simply admiring the picturesque scenery while lounging poolside. The pool area itself was beautifully maintained, with comfortable seating and attentive staff always on hand to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
Overall, my stay at this hotel surpassed all expectations. The exceptional location, cleanliness, and stunning views combined with exceptional services made it an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a remarkable getaway filled with impeccable services and captivating views – you won't be disappointed!
MM236177****The Grand Hyatt's hardware is, as always, top-notch. The hotel offers excellent privacy, and every step within its gardens reveals a beautiful view, instantly filling you with that relaxed vacation vibe. What impressed me most was the incredibly thoughtful and attentive service provided by our butler, Cherry – truly one of the hotel's biggest highlights. Her comprehensive and meticulous care, both before and during our stay, made for an exceptional experience. I'd like to express my gratitude here. I will definitely bring my parents back for another holiday when I have the chance.
JJiajiadejia1209Right across from People's Park, with free parking downstairs and easy access to taxis. The hotel offers complimentary snacks and unlimited drinks, plus robot delivery service, giving it a very modern and high-tech feel. The bedding in the room is quite comfortable. However, the open-plan sink area can be a bit noisy, and while the toilet is separate, it's not fully enclosed. This could be awkward if you're sharing with someone you're not very close to; it's really only suitable for families.
