It's about a 10-minute drive from Terminal 2. The minibus was a bit small, which was inconvenient for guests with a lot of luggage. The ground floor is quite spacious, and the front desk staff were nice. The room was surprisingly good, exceeding my expectations and larger than I thought. The facilities are excellent. Breakfast was very substantial, with both Western and Chinese options. Overall experience was good! 👍

I originally wanted to switch to the Hilton in Yalong Bay for a different experience, but after just one night, I regretted it. The facilities there were a bit old and it was crowded; the overall experience wasn't as good as expected. My whole family unanimously decided: back to the Hyatt!
The moment we returned, my family lay on the balcony sofa, feeling the familiar sea breeze, and exclaimed: This is so much better!
And there's the familiar, thoughtful service – our butler Momo was consistently enthusiastic. We extended our stay by two more nights this time, and the longer we stayed, the more we realized our first choice was indeed the best one. That night in Yalong Bay was just a learning experience; for the rest of our holiday, we happily entrusted ourselves to the Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay.
Thank you, Momo, and thank you, Hyatt, for repeatedly confirming that we made the right choice. Next time we come to Sanya, no more fussing around – we'll head straight here!

We stayed in rooms 7603 and 7609. The hotel's location is excellent, and the sea view from the sixth floor is beautiful. The service was also good. The downside is that room 03 had a strong musty smell, and in room 09, we found a small gecko. We called the service hotline, and they quickly helped us remove it, but the hotel really should do a thorough check before guests check in. The facilities are very old; the TV only showed channels and was very laggy, and it only had HDMI input, no screen mirroring functionality. The Bluetooth connection on the phone only played sound, so we just went to sleep. In the evening, we went to a nearby restaurant and tried Wenchang chicken; the coconut chicken was quite crispy, and the steamed chicken was very tender – both are worth trying. We also ordered stir-fried beef because we saw many cows on the way, but the beef was very tough, so I wouldn't recommend it. The coconut rice was also quite delicious. The next morning, we went to a nearby mountain to watch the sunrise, but unfortunately, the clouds were too thick, and we couldn't see it.

Stepping into the room, the huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the 'private beach' perfectly, like a painting! In the evening, sitting by the window watching the sea, enjoying a cozy moment by the bathtub, with coconut trees, white tents, and beach umbrellas outside. The sound of waves mixed with the evening breeze felt like stepping into a holiday scene from a movie.
The old pottery jar was brimming with pink flowers, and tall palm trees provided ample shade. Posing for photos with the sea as a backdrop, my straw hat and green backpack instantly created that 'island vibe' in every shot.
The beach was equally stunning: crystal-clear water, soft golden sand, and small fishing boats gently beached. In the distance, a few fishing figures dotted the horizon. Walking barefoot on the sand, watching the clouds drift by, all my worries were swept away by the sea breeze.
From the meticulous landscape design and the romantic sea views from the room, to the relaxed beach terrace, this guesthouse truly embodied the 'island dream' in every single detail. Staying here, I finally understood what it means to 'live life poetically and give your holiday back to the sea.' Coming here during my pregnancy, with convenient pick-up and drop-off, was incredibly helpful!

It was amazing! Real Santorini in China, the hotel, sea and place is beautiful, coffee was great!
Waves was strong, so think about it if you like swimming, but walk on the beach was enough for me. The hotel has a really good swimming pool and small gym, no restaurant but a lot of bars around, so no problem with food at all👌🏻
I want to say thanks to the owner and girls from the front desk, you guys are awesome ♥️

The hotel is huge, but I don't understand why so many swimming areas were closed, which caused a lot of people to cram into the main pool, it was quite a sight. The pools aren't deep, all 1.4 meters. There were a lot of foreigners, even more Chinese guests, and many kids. Perhaps the hotel itself has beautiful scenery, but maybe the sheer number of people affected the experience. I won't say much more, but if you're looking for a better experience, go to Haitang Bay. I can't really comment on the breakfast; I'm from Southwest China and it felt like I was imposing. I didn't take any photos, didn't feel like it. Check-in is at 3 PM; I arrived early so I just waited. If you have any questions, just ask, and I'll reply when I see them.

Overall, my stay was fantastic! The hotel environment was comfortable and spotless, making the entire check-in process smooth and worry-free. My concierge, Zirong, even shared duty-free vouchers, which saved me a good amount of money. The support decorations I requested in advance were perfectly executed, creating an amazing atmosphere. Zirong was patient and attentive throughout, and any requests I had were handled promptly. The thoughtful and thorough service made this stay particularly memorable. A truly perfect experience!

The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom which was huge, comfortable, and very clean. The view from the room was also great, covering almost half the island. We even received complimentary welcome fruit. The service was excellent too; I had two kids with me, and all it took was a call to get special children's bathrobes and toothbrushes. When we needed more water, it was delivered immediately after a quick call. The kids loved it too, and the pool even has a dedicated children's area.

Before I dive into my review, I should preface it by saying that I usually stay at Orange and HUAZHU hotels (like Ji Hotel and Orange Hotel). The W Hotel in Chengdu was the only five-star hotel I've ever experienced. So, if you regularly stay at hotels costing thousands or tens of thousands of yuan a night, my review might not be relevant to you.
For those with OCD or who struggle with choices, if you want to know what the specific views are like or what the rooms actually look like, there are two ways: First, look up a user named 'Sanya Ascott jayson' on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). They've posted floor plans for various room types and highlighted the differences between them. Second, simply Google 'Ascott' and you'll find an online 3D virtual tour website.
I stayed for five days, and personally, I felt the bedsheets were much cleaner and less coarse than those at Huazhu hotels, making for a very comfortable sleep. Regarding service, you only get a butler (who can help with urgent requests and delivering items) if you book through Trip.com. Bookings made via Xianyu or other platforms *do not* include butler service!!! (Because you can't leave a negative review, which means there's no threat to the hotel's reputation). Hotels in Sanya really care about their Trip.com ratings! Also, when confirming a package booked via Xianyu at the restaurant, I felt like they knew I'd booked through Xianyu. The staff had to call to confirm for a while, and their expressions seemed a little odd. If you want to book cheaply but still enjoy full service, you can do what I did: book one night through Trip.com and the other nights through Xianyu, making sure to link the bookings. On a side note, as someone from Chongqing, I really wish they had spicy boiled beef slices (水煮肉片) and unlimited steamed buns with condensed milk (金银馒头 style) for breakfast.
Overall, the service is definitely better than at Orange or Ji Hotels. If you need something, it's delivered almost instantly. They automatically clean your room when you're out, and even neatly arrange your belongings. The air conditioning is never turned off; all rooms in five-star hotels, even unoccupied ones, have the AC running, so it's always cool when you return.
Tips: If you think the elevator is fast, it's because there are no 4th, 13th, or 14th floors. We stayed on the 18th floor, which was actually the 15th floor. Room numbers also omit 4 and 13.
During the day, there are many Didi SUV premium cars waiting downstairs to pick up passengers. A family of four won't have trouble getting a ride. The entrance road is shared with Qingneng, Junji, Autograph, and JW Marriott, with JW Marriott at the very end of the road.
Finally, a huge thank you to my butler, Xiao Xu. He was very enthusiastic, had a great attitude, and high emotional intelligence. Communicating with him was very pleasant, making our Sanya trip incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend choosing Xiao Xu!

AAnonymous UserThe lobby service was attentive; the staff proactively helped with luggage and directed me to the front desk, and the shuttle bus driver was also very friendly.
However, there was a lack of knowledge regarding hotel products. When I asked questions, I was told to call customer service from my room. Customer service couldn't answer immediately and said they would get back to me later.
There were several issues in the room: many mosquitoes, and the floor drain in the balcony hot tub was broken. For a hot spring resort hotel, it was surprising that mosquito nets and bathtub liners were not provided. I had to call a total of four times to communicate these issues, which made for a poor experience.

DDaidaizeiAs a frequent business traveler, I've stayed in countless hotels, and this one truly offers incredible value for money! The room layout is well-designed, with a spacious desk and strong Wi-Fi signal, perfectly meeting my work needs. The front desk staff were very efficient with both check-in and check-out, and they even provided a complimentary airport shuttle service, saving me a lot of time and effort. The hotel environment is quiet, ideal for both rest and work, and the surrounding transportation is convenient, making it easy to get to the business district. I highly recommend it to business travelers – a truly reliable hotel!
HHweiling OwThe place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area.
We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point.
There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views.
From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day.
You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful.
This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.
XXiaoyanglaila~Joy and Convenience for a Multi-Generational Family
Keywords for our stay: Independent spaces, shared courtyard, family activities
Traveling to Sanya with my parents and two children, my biggest concerns were disturbing each other and my elderly parents getting tired. This three-story villa in Haitang Bay, with its private elevator and indoor hot spring pool, perfectly addressed all our worries.
The villa's space planning was excellent: The ground-floor suite with a yard was convenient for my parents, who have limited mobility. They especially enjoyed soaking in the warm pool in the courtyard to relax their muscles. The second floor was the children's paradise, complete with a dedicated game room. The third floor was our master bedroom with ocean views. Everyone had their own private space, yet we could all gather in the super-large open-plan kitchen and dining area on the first floor. We often bought fresh seafood from a nearby market and cooked it ourselves, allowing my parents to enjoy familiar home-cooked flavors, which made them happier than any restaurant meal.
The services provided by the villa also showed a strong family-oriented approach. Not only did they prepare children's slippers, bathrobes, and beach toys in advance, but they also arranged a ”family coconut cake making” activity for us. Three generations sat together, from cracking open coconuts to extracting the flesh, shaping, and steaming – there was constant laughter. In the evening, the whole family watched an old movie in the private cinema, enjoying precious family time. This trip, thanks to such a spacious, convenient, and joyful 'home away from home,' made both fulfilling filial duties and spending quality time with the children easy and complete.
GGuest UserLiving in the Cameisu Haitang Bay Poly Store is really worth it! I felt intimate from getting off the bus. The front desk helped with the luggage and introduced the surrounding gameplay in detail. It was simply a ”live strategy”. The room is designed to be super stylish, the log wind is matched with fresh green plants, the balcony is facing a coconut grove, and you can see the sun on the tip of the leaf in the morning, which is too healing.
The bedding is soft and more comfortable than the home. At night, I sleep particularly heavy listening to the sound of the waves. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the hot water is out in seconds, and even the shower gel is a faint coconut fragrance, which is superb with the atmosphere of Haitang Bay.
GGuest UserThe environment is very good. My family is very satisfied. The room is large and clean. The community environment is also very good. It is only a 10-minute walk from the beach, which is very convenient. The living facilities in the room are complete and suitable for living. There is a swimming pool outside the house. The scenery is very good. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient. It is very comfortable to live~
BBuchitianpindexiaoguaishouThe hotel is located within Tianya Town. Due to town regulations, whether driving or taking a taxi, you can only reach the entrance and then walk in or take a sightseeing buggy. During the day, it's 5 RMB per person, and an extra 1 RMB is added after midnight. We drove there, and Sanya was just a one-night stopover for us before an early morning flight the next day. We weren't aware of the town's regulations beforehand, so when we heard we couldn't drive directly to the hotel, I was a bit uneasy and regretted booking here. However, once we arrived and I saw the sea view from the lobby while checking in, I pretty much forgave the inconvenience of not being able to drive to the door. 😀 Since we were only staying one night, we hadn't booked a sea-view room initially. But after seeing the sea-view rooms next door, we immediately upgraded our room type, which made everything perfect. 😂 The hotel's location is excellent, right on the beach, and there are many dining options nearby. The hotel also has its own sea-view restaurant, and the prices aren't too expensive. The hotel even offers travel photography services, but we didn't have time this trip. During the day, you can do paddleboarding at the beach, and the beach is lively at night. This trip was more of a quick stop to check things out; next time, we'll stay for a few more days to truly enjoy it. Also, a big shout-out to the hotel staff who were very enthusiastic and explained everything clearly. 👍
PPaul. SHotel has 6 floors with 1 lift. Average size room. Big windows, Queen bed with 2 pillows, 2 bedside tables. 1 round table with chair. Std amenities with paper cups. Laundry has 1 washer and 1 dryer. Separate bath/toilet, bath, face towels. Floor towel mat. Small area but OK. Water flow out and wet toilet area although separated. No rain shower. Big slippers. Adequate hangers and hooks. Power sockets not well placed. Good location opposite People's Park. Buses to everywhere including railway station and airport. Plenty of food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls nearby. Very popular hotel. Breakfast simple but good.

YYangzhimaojiaoshuCame here with my bestie and we instantly fell in love with this B&B! The sea view is absolutely stunning; every photo we took turned out amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, and the layout was cozy and comfortable – a truly delightful stay. It's also super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. We loved just sitting by the window, chatting and watching the sea, and taking evening strolls on the beach – so relaxing and lovely. The host was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. This B&B really enhanced our entire trip; we felt so comfortable and happy here. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and we're planning our next get-together here. I highly recommend it to all you ladies!
GGuest UserThe boss is very nice and very welcoming. The room is clean. You can see the sea. The balcony room has a good view. You can sit down and drink to see the scenery. The price is great. You can also help send your luggage to the entrance of the village. Next time you come to live in his house.
