Pet-friendly Hotels in Inner Mongolia, China

We had a wonderful family stay at Hupeng Muge Resort in Inner Mongolia. We stayed in a ground-floor yurt with a big, comfortable bed, which was perfect for our family and made the stay feel both cozy and special. The kids especially loved the experience of staying in a yurt and being surrounded by the beautiful grassland scenery. One of their favorite memories, though, was meeting the adorable kittens in the restaurant! They were absolutely delighted and kept wanting to visit the restaurant just to see them again. Overall, it was a lovely family experience and a great opportunity to enjoy Inner Mongolia in a more relaxed and memorable way. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the comfortable accommodation, and the little moments that made the trip special for the whole family.

Surprisingly well-equipped for being in the desert! You can step right outside and enjoy the sand. The private bathroom even has hot water that's hot enough. I was expecting a rustic experience, but the lights at night were absolutely beautiful – definitely worth staying here! They also have a camp BBQ in the evening; it's not expensive, and you can get full for around 50 per person. ₍₍Ϡ(੭•̀ω•́)੭✧⃛

The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. I brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.

Few people, beautiful scenery, and family-friendly accommodations equal a perfect vacation! The stylishly designed guest rooms are scattered across the vast grasslands, offering exceptional privacy, allowing children to run freely without disturbing others. The rooms are comfortable, and every space is meticulously designed (sitting by the window, gazing at the grassy slopes and simply relaxing is a great way to unwind). We recommend waking up in the morning to watch the mist drift across the valley, hiking the nearby grassy slopes, enjoying the dairy products of herders, and stargazing by the campfire at night—this is the true meaning of ”wild luxury.”

First off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

On my trip to Inner Mongolia, I stopped in Hohhot and stayed at Yunleju for the first night. Before checking in, I called and added them on WeChat to register my license plate in advance. This allowed me to park in the underground garage for free, which was great for someone traveling by car. The downsides are that although the room was large, it was a bit dim, and the facilities were old. The TV was small, and the remote control only had one battery. The bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area, making it easy to slip after showering when trying to use the toilet. I suggest they provide a squeegee.

A comfortable stay in a great location, the yurts are located just a ten minute walk away from the ticket counter for the Dalinuoer Lake Scenic Area. It's a pretty small town, so it's also close to pretty much every restaurant. The boss is also very friendly, he answered all my questions and helped me with finding transportation. The conditions of the yurt are actually quite good, there's a heating/air conditioning unit, which I used to keep cozy at night, and a full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, hot water etc.). There's also a TV, a variety of charging cables, and free WiFi. The bed is massive, very comfortable and able to fit a family. Body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. For those who may be concerned about such things, it may be useful to note that the door locks from the inside using a deadbolt, and when you leave your yurt for the day you lock it from the outside with a padlock as there's no electronic lock or keycard. It didn't bother me and since the town is very small, I felt pretty safe. As for cleanliness, for what it is (essentially a semi-permanent tent in the rural grasslands) it's very clean. There are vinyl floors and clean sheets, everything seems well maintained. Sometimes little critters like moths fly in, but this is glamping. Of course you shouldn't expect the same type of environment as a regular five star hotel. Overall I had a wonderful experience here! Felt connected to nature while still enjoying my creature comforts.

The Fengshen experience must be tried! ! The boss and his family are very special and very good. Kind and hospitable. The accommodation experience is exotic and full of super unique and happy. Cost-effective. 1. There is a free pick-up/East Station pick-up. Contact me in advance. I have been waiting for me late at night. 2. A total of 8/9 an extremely exquisite oversized, large, single yurt. Every basket has its own style. It is very clean. One guest and one change. The particularly comfortable Hilton hilton bedding is very comfortable to sleep. There are also yurt characteristics. Charging and modernizing lights are all done very well. 3. The single person is very warm, small but safe. Parent-child and other super big ones can visit the scene and choose ～ 4. There are four packages outside to listen to the rain. Some have heating and air conditioning. Others have canopy. Quiet and cool. The design is very careful. Next to 1.5km Super close is the famous Internet celebrity plane punching in. In the morning, there is fragrant milk tea. The vegetable field picks tomatoes and corn. The cute rhubarb is especially special for playing. Although the bathroom is not in the yurt, it takes dozens of seconds to test the experience. Disposable toiletries such as toothbrushes are of good quality. Hygiene is not said.
