Pet-friendly Hotels in Shaanxi, China

Our overall experience was positive, the hotel is at a great location, in the heart of the city but away from the street noise. The only downside is that rooms are not soundproof and your good rest will depend on how noisy your neighbours are. Also noisy people can be heard from the corridor. But the hotel provides earplugs. All toiletries were provided in the room and free bottled water was available on  our floor. The room was warm and of good size. Buffet breakfast is mainly focused on Asian guests and it’s very varied and rich, however some options are available for Westerners (e.g. they can cook plain omelette, there are cold meat cuts, fresh fruit, pastries). Choice and quality of coffees was very good. Limited options for vegetarians and especially vegans. Thanks to all staff for our pleasant stay!

The hotel is located in a garden area, and the room is relatively spacious. My friend felt that the shampoo products were very suitable for her to use. The hotel also has free laundry and drying services, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. Parking is free in the basement. Just call the front desk to report your license plate number when you go out. There are many restaurants near the hotel, which is convenient. Recommend everyone

I chose this hotel because of a single photo, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Usually, pet-friendly hotels tend to have some minor cleanliness issues, and I'm quite prone to allergies. However, once I got to my room, I realized my worries were unfounded; I stayed for three days with absolutely no reactions. Secondly, although the front desk isn't 24-hour, the regularly updated access codes and the incredibly thoughtful butler-style service perfectly address any concerns about safety and service quality in a busy area. I also really liked the food street downstairs – it had everything, was clean, and delicious. I had many conversations with the butler about animals and food; I just enjoyed chatting with her whenever I had a moment. Finally, the cats at the hotel are adorable. Little Ear is the shyest, and Liu Liu is the most affectionate, but personally, I'm most fond of the adorable face of the little butler. If we visit Xi'an again and you're still around, we'll definitely head straight for your hotel without considering anywhere else.

When we visited Xi'an with our kids, the hotel upgraded us to a tatami room with a courtyard. The room was very spacious and had a small private courtyard where we could dry clothes. The hotel's back exit leads directly to the Grand Tang Everbright City, which was incredibly convenient. We planned our city sightseeing during the day, and in the evenings, we ordered takeout to the hotel (there were plenty of options nearby), before taking the kids for a stroll at the Grand Tang Everbright City. The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. Upon check-in, they added us on WeChat, and any requests we had were promptly addressed via WeChat. Breakfast was also very generous. The kids particularly loved the hotel's soy milk, sausages, and cookies. Highly recommended! Definitely staying here again on our next trip to Xi'an!

The environment is decent, and the venue is suitable for events and conferences. I even happened to catch a new car launch when I checked in. The room itself is quite spacious, but the furnishings and fixtures feel very dated. Not quite dilapidated, but definitely old-fashioned. The towels, in particular, were frayed and shedding. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; it just didn't seem clean, especially the countertop around the bathtub, which looked like it hadn't been wiped down properly and felt very haphazard. Breakfast was just average, but the cleanliness of the restaurant tables and chairs was also quite unsatisfactory. Overall, it's okay for an event venue, but for personal stays, the room's hardware probably isn't even on par with a 400 RMB mid-range business hotel (and I paid over 600 RMB). The only highlight is the hotel's location at the delta, which allows for pleasant walks along the river. For those who prioritize modern facilities and up-to-date amenities, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

After a long day of driving, we finally reached the front desk to check in. Immediately upon check-in, the proprietress started relentlessly pushing 'complimentary' activities, specifically guided tours and theater tickets. This instantly created a very negative impression. She then simply assumed I wanted the guided tour, asked how many headsets I'd need, and demanded a transfer payment. When I declined, she suggested a late-night play would be 'perfect'. It truly felt like she didn't care about guests' exhaustion, only about making a quick buck. The Wi-Fi signal was completely inadequate for the number of rooms; I had to tether my laptop to my phone. The owner claimed the Wi-Fi was down and being repaired outside – an obvious lie! There was no one in sight doing repairs, and how could it possibly take an entire day to fix? Even the disposable slippers were paper-thin, another letdown. What's more, they initially set very high room prices, then slash them hourly if not booked within a few hours. The blatant commercialism and greed of this place are truly overwhelming.

The moment I wheeled my suitcase into Zhiyin, it instantly pulled me out of the exhausting crowds of Datang Everbright City and made me feel comfortable! It's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and just a hundred steps or so to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After watching the light show at night, strolling back, even the breeze felt leisurely. The floor-to-ceiling window in my Pagoda View room was like a soft-focus filter. Waking up in the morning, I saw the Big Wild Goose Pagoda bathed in the warm morning light, and I snapped ten photos by the window. I could just call ”Xiao Du” to adjust the AC and close the curtains. Plus, being able to enjoy the Big Wild Goose Pagoda's night view up close – how wonderful is that! I filled my photo album with pictures in Hanfu in the courtyard; a nine-grid post on WeChat Moments wasn't nearly enough! Next time I come to Xi'an, I'm absolutely cementing this place into my itinerary!

The hotel was good. The beds were clean, and the owner was very nice. Since there were no rooms available, they upgraded me to a double room. You can also store your luggage for free, and the price is very reasonable.

Facilities: The facilities are incredibly comprehensive and well-maintained. There are two swimming pools, plus numerous small hot spring soaking pools, which were a real treat!♨️ Staff: The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming; every single person proactively greeted us and made us feel valued. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was truly impeccable. Even I, with my very high standards, was thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied. Ambiance: The environment is serene, secluded, and offers excellent privacy. Our private hot spring room was fantastic, featuring both a dry sauna and a wet steam sauna – a truly nice touch!🧖‍♀️ There were also both indoor and outdoor showers. The outdoor private hot spring pool was absolutely phenomenal! Service: Our butler provided incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive service. Any questions or needs regarding our children's water activities during our stay were handled promptly and efficiently. We also received complimentary coffee and welcome fruits, which was a lovely gesture. Their hospitality was truly outstanding; for instance, when we went out to watch the ”Song of Everlasting Sorrow” performance, they even helped us dispose of our takeout trash! Every single detail was meticulously taken care of, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. We will definitely be returning! We are beyond satisfied and highly recommend this place for family trips.

Facilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance. Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face. This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family.
