Pet-friendly Hotels in Shaanxi, China

We really enjoyed our stay at Novotel Xi’an. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well located, and everything was well organised, which made travelling much easier for us. I especially want to mention Jennifer Guo, who was amazing. As tourists who don’t speak Chinese, her help made a huge difference for us. She was very patient, kind, and always happy to help with anything we needed. She took the time to explain things clearly, helped us communicate, and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay. Jennifer also kindly reminded us about meal times and explained what was included for the evening supper, which was really helpful and thoughtful. Those little things really stood out. She is genuinely caring and professional, and it made our experience in Xi’an so much smoother and more enjoyable.

The hotel is located in a garden area, and the room is relatively spacious. My friend felt that the shampoo products were very suitable for her to use. The hotel also has free laundry and drying services, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. Parking is free in the basement. Just call the front desk to report your license plate number when you go out. There are many restaurants near the hotel, which is convenient. Recommend everyone

I chose this hotel because of a single photo, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Usually, pet-friendly hotels tend to have some minor cleanliness issues, and I'm quite prone to allergies. However, once I got to my room, I realized my worries were unfounded; I stayed for three days with absolutely no reactions. Secondly, although the front desk isn't 24-hour, the regularly updated access codes and the incredibly thoughtful butler-style service perfectly address any concerns about safety and service quality in a busy area. I also really liked the food street downstairs – it had everything, was clean, and delicious. I had many conversations with the butler about animals and food; I just enjoyed chatting with her whenever I had a moment. Finally, the cats at the hotel are adorable. Little Ear is the shyest, and Liu Liu is the most affectionate, but personally, I'm most fond of the adorable face of the little butler. If we visit Xi'an again and you're still around, we'll definitely head straight for your hotel without considering anywhere else.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! As soon as we arrived, a gentleman at the entrance warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and escorted us to our room. He gave us a tour along the way and thoroughly explained everything about the room. He even delivered our takeout later! He truly deserves special commendation for his enthusiastic and proactive service. Xiao Dong and Xiao Yan were also fantastic! 👍🏻 The front desk staff processed our check-in quickly and efficiently, with a personal touch. The room was clean, tidy, and very cozy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the toiletries were of excellent quality. The hot spring bath was also very clean, and the kids enjoyed it every day! 😄 The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options conveniently nearby. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

The environment is decent, and the venue is suitable for events and conferences. I even happened to catch a new car launch when I checked in. The room itself is quite spacious, but the furnishings and fixtures feel very dated. Not quite dilapidated, but definitely old-fashioned. The towels, in particular, were frayed and shedding. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; it just didn't seem clean, especially the countertop around the bathtub, which looked like it hadn't been wiped down properly and felt very haphazard. Breakfast was just average, but the cleanliness of the restaurant tables and chairs was also quite unsatisfactory. Overall, it's okay for an event venue, but for personal stays, the room's hardware probably isn't even on par with a 400 RMB mid-range business hotel (and I paid over 600 RMB). The only highlight is the hotel's location at the delta, which allows for pleasant walks along the river. For those who prioritize modern facilities and up-to-date amenities, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

After a long day of driving, we finally reached the front desk to check in. Immediately upon check-in, the proprietress started relentlessly pushing 'complimentary' activities, specifically guided tours and theater tickets. This instantly created a very negative impression. She then simply assumed I wanted the guided tour, asked how many headsets I'd need, and demanded a transfer payment. When I declined, she suggested a late-night play would be 'perfect'. It truly felt like she didn't care about guests' exhaustion, only about making a quick buck. The Wi-Fi signal was completely inadequate for the number of rooms; I had to tether my laptop to my phone. The owner claimed the Wi-Fi was down and being repaired outside – an obvious lie! There was no one in sight doing repairs, and how could it possibly take an entire day to fix? Even the disposable slippers were paper-thin, another letdown. What's more, they initially set very high room prices, then slash them hourly if not booked within a few hours. The blatant commercialism and greed of this place are truly overwhelming.

Where do I even start? My time in Xi’an was unforgettable, and staying at Hermitage was a big reason why. Theres an older gentleman welcomed me with a hot bowl of noodles when I arrived in the rain. The next morning, when I brought my laptop down to work during breakfast, he thoughtfully set up the table and made sure I was seated somewhere with good lighting. On my birthday, the manager even surprised me with a cake. Just so many sweet little gestures that made the stay special. One thing to note: the hotel is located in a scenic area. Cars can’t drive all the way in, so you’ll need to walk a bit to reach the hotel. I happened to visit during Golden Week so some roads were blocked off due to crowd so getting in took a bit of rerouting. But honestly, the experience was so worth it. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Location very convenient where it near to MRT stations and even railway station. However the cleanliness consider average and not much can be compared with this kind of low room rate. To find the hotel really a challenge because it was inside HanTing  hotel, 11 floor. The only concern is we facing water outrage on our last day and no backup water prepare for us. I hope hotel can consider some improvements on this issue.

Facilities: The facilities are incredibly comprehensive and well-maintained. There are two swimming pools, plus numerous small hot spring soaking pools, which were a real treat!♨️ Staff: The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming; every single person proactively greeted us and made us feel valued. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was truly impeccable. Even I, with my very high standards, was thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied. Ambiance: The environment is serene, secluded, and offers excellent privacy. Our private hot spring room was fantastic, featuring both a dry sauna and a wet steam sauna – a truly nice touch!🧖‍♀️ There were also both indoor and outdoor showers. The outdoor private hot spring pool was absolutely phenomenal! Service: Our butler provided incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive service. Any questions or needs regarding our children's water activities during our stay were handled promptly and efficiently. We also received complimentary coffee and welcome fruits, which was a lovely gesture. Their hospitality was truly outstanding; for instance, when we went out to watch the ”Song of Everlasting Sorrow” performance, they even helped us dispose of our takeout trash! Every single detail was meticulously taken care of, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. We will definitely be returning! We are beyond satisfied and highly recommend this place for family trips.

Facilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance. Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face. This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family.
