The B&B is close to the North Gate, so it was pretty easy to find. The owner even picked me up from Pingyao Ancient City Station late at night, which I really appreciated – it made my travel experience so much better. They carefully explained the locations of attractions and gave me a map. When I left, they even gave me some vinegar as a gift; they're incredibly warm and welcoming. Seriously, if you're coming to Pingyao, you should definitely stay here, haha! It's safe, clean, and the facilities are all there. For longer stays, they even proactively clean your room. The decor has a local flair too – who wouldn't want to try sleeping on a traditional heated 'kang' bed without any fuss? Thanks for everything, I'll definitely stay here again next time. Loved it, loved it!

This hotel is great in every aspect. The location is very convenient; you can park right outside, and it's right on the edge of the old town, making it both quiet and easy to explore. The hotel's courtyard is beautifully designed, with charming scenes at every turn. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, with a high level of smart features. I especially loved the instant hot water kettle – I'm seriously considering getting one for my own home! After exploring the old town, it was so relaxing to come back and enjoy a private soak. It's a fantastic place for a weekend getaway~

Awesome! 👍🏻 We arrived late by high-speed train, and the owner drove directly to the station to pick us up. All the restaurants in the ancient city were closed, so the owner lent us his electric tricycle to go eat outside the city. Riding that little vehicle through the ancient city at night was truly a special experience, haha. As for the room, it had everything we needed, and the underfloor heating kept it very warm. The large kang bed was quite unique, and even the mouthwash cups were disposable. Since it was the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room. Although the wallpaper was a bit peeling, it didn't affect our stay at all. Moreover, right outside the inn is the owner's own travel photography studio. I'm so glad I didn't book one of those trendy shops recommended online in advance. The photo shoot here was absolutely fantastic 💖. The makeup artist was very gentle and recommended suitable hairstyles and makeup based on my face shape. I loved the photos, and there was absolutely no pressure during the selection process – completely voluntary. A perfect ancient city experience, I'll definitely recommend it to my friends!

Stepping into the guesthouse, an antique charm immediately enveloped me. The red lanterns hanging high in the courtyard instantly brought forth the unique atmosphere of Pingyao Ancient City. The room was very clean and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. The service was excellent. The small courtyard was also lovely, and not far from the main street. I accidentally left my jewelry in the room, and they proactively returned it to me, which I greatly appreciate. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely choose this place again if I have the chance to visit Pingyao.

The best decision I made on this trip to Datong was staying at this ancient town guesthouse! The location is superb, within walking distance of Huayan Temple, the ancient city wall, and the Prince Dai's Mansion—a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The courtyard is elegant and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the owner is warm and attentive. They offer a choice between pick-up and drop-off service and even provided incredibly useful sightseeing and dining tips. The breakfast was also excellent, featuring local Datong specialties, with a different breakfast every day. I originally booked only one night, but the stay was so comfortable that I extended it for another night. The courtyard is also perfect for taking photos. Highly recommended! It combines the charm of an ancient capital with the warmth of home—a must-stay in Datong! A perfect score!

As a ********* traveler, I encountered check-in restrictions upon my arrival in Taiyuan. Despite being advertised as welcoming tourists from around the world, I faced an issue at a hotel in Taiyuan. The hotel encountered difficulties in processing my Taiwan pass. However, I must commend G hotel for their exceptional support and assistance. They made every effort to resolve the situation promptly and ensure a successful check-in process. I highly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers from Taiwan for its professionalism and accommodating service.

Open the window, breathe the air with the smell of earth, watch the morning sun re-light this vast land, in this ancient land that has been precipitated for 5,000 years of civilization, every day is really brand new. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while, find a place to put your body and mind, come to the Yellow River Bay in Pucheng. Here, time slows down, heart calms, and days become full.

I chose Nan She for both of my trips to Datong, spaced about twenty days apart. The first time was by chance, but the second was a deliberate choice, both reflecting my high appreciation for every aspect of Nan She. It's located right beneath the North City Wall of the ancient city, close to Daiwang Mansion and Kuixing Tower. Its proximity to the main road makes getting around very convenient. The entrance to the North City Wall is just a few minutes' walk away, offering a superb spot to watch the sunset over the ancient city. The breakfast at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious. The rooms are spotless, and the bedding is clean; every detail is perfectly executed. The overall service is beyond words – attentive, warm, and thoughtful. Choosing the right accommodation is a crucial part of enhancing the travel experience, and both of my stays here provided an excellent one. Datong is a city you'll want to revisit; the more you get to know it, the more you'll love it. The blend of history and modernity, delicious food, and beautiful scenery offers endless appeal.
