This time, at my parents' request, we stayed at the Imabari International Hotel! My parents were very happy and said, ”It was a beautiful hotel and the breakfast buffet was delicious!” The lobby was also wonderful with a very solemn atmosphere! The price was also reasonable, so we were very happy and it was a very satisfying trip! Thank you very much!
Located right in front of the station. It's quiet.
There's a Korean-speaking lady.
A nearby supermarket is open until 10:00. Discount stickers are posted from 7:00.
There's a nearby izakaya and bar for late-night dining.
Surprise surprise, the supporting hot spring is very good, the surrounding environment is beautiful, there is a small restaurant nearby, the room is not small, the price is reasonable, the staff is very warm
It's within walking distance of Dogo Onsen. The slope is a bit steep, so using the shuttle bus would be even more convenient. You can visit Isanami Shrine from the hotel without having to climb a steep slope (enter from the parking lot entrance).
The hot spring water was just the right temperature and felt great. Apparently, you could see Matsuyama Castle from the open-air bath (although I can't see it because I have poor eyesight). The twin room was a bit small, but there was plenty of space to spread out my luggage. It would be nice to have a place to store my suitcase (you'll have to place your suitcase or backpack directly on the floor).
The breakfast buffet was also extensive and delicious! My favorites were the French toast and the sea bream rice dish (or sea bream chazuke).
This is a long-established hot spring resort hotel, showing its age and the facilities are a bit dated. However, it currently offers good value for money. The hot spring pools are very large, with several outdoor pools. Soaking in the hot spring while being close to the mountains is a pleasant experience. Meals are buffet style, neither particularly good nor bad. There is currently a free shuttle bus from Songshan Airport directly to the hotel, which is quite convenient!
This hotel is located on the top of a mountain and was designed by Tadao Ando. There are seven rooms in total, one per floor, including the new building and the main building. Because we arrived late today, the hotel left four staff members to serve us. They had been emailing us to inquire about the arrival time and whether we had food allergies. They were very caring and meticulous. We booked a semi-open-air hot spring forest room. The room is large, but the decoration style is very Andou style. The room has a private bath but it is not open-air, two bathrooms, and a mini bar with various drinks. The Ehime orange juice is very delicious. The whole hotel is Andou Tadao's gallery. The main features are spaciousness, natural light, concrete, and basement. It is a mini version of Chichu Gallery in Naoshima.
