"This hotel is located in Aoquian Road, Taiwan Town, less than 5 km from Pingtan County, and it's really quiet and pleasant. It's perfect for self-driving tourists. It's a two-story new building with large, high-ceilinged rooms and good facilities. The only minor issues were that the central air conditioning wasn't very effective at dehumidifying, and breakfast was a bit simple. Overall, the rooms are exceptionally spacious and nice, the customer service is great, and the price isn't high. I'm very satisfied!"

"Pretty hotel in pretty old ancient buildings. Lots of high curbs in the hotel. The staffs were very helpful with our luggage. Every corner of the hotel looks pretty and photogenic. The welcome tea is nice! The hotel lobby with wooden high ceiling is so impressive and pretty. The tea rooms that we can choose to have our breakfast are pretty and aircon cooling too.
The hotel room looks so much better than the pictures in their booking site. High ceiling, warm note and comes with a comfortable soothing wooden smell.
The bathroom comes with ancient look door with wooden planks and in btw can be look through, but overall looks new and clean. Amazed by the bidet toilet in the ancient wooden setting. Its a good mix of modern and ancient in the most appropriate way. We almost didn't feel like leaving the hotel. Bathtub outside looks so pretty as well, especially on rainy days and early mornings, but we were worried about the mosquitos.
The hotel is 1 minute away from the main shopping/touristy street, and you can get all the teas and gifts from there.
Note that the hotel is located far from the main road. Nearest road side for dropoff and boarding is at the Starbucks, which sometimes seems far when you are tired and seems near when you leave the hotel for the day. About 8 mins walk away i think. There are little shops along the way as well. And the street looks super cool at night with all the lanterns along the way. As mentioned earlier, the hotel staffs gladly helped you with your luggage to the boarding point.

"Right across the road are the sea and the beach. The accommodation consists of individual units, and the courtyard views are also lovely. My favorite part was waking up to the sunshine streaming in when I opened the curtains in the morning – absolutely wonderful! The service was excellent, and there was even a mini-fridge with drinks."

Right outside the hotel, you're on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. Guest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-star review! For this trip to Wuyi Mountain, I chose Dafangju Villa Hotel, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located in the Sangu Resort Area, very close to Impression Dahongpao. There's a free bus stop right outside that goes to the South/North gates of the scenic area, making it convenient to visit Nine-Bend Stream and Tianyou Peak. We arrived after 10 PM, but since we had communicated with the hotel in advance, check-in was very smooth. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and they even provided six bottles of water daily – excellent attention to detail. The owner and staff were incredibly warm and helpful, answering all our questions and making us feel right at home. While breakfast wasn't luxurious, it was clean and filling. The best part was the unlimited tea eggs and tea – having a cup of rock tea after hiking was incredibly refreshing. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuyi Mountain and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Xiaoyu20090The front desk staff, especially Xiao Yi, was truly exceptional. She was incredibly efficient, hardworking, and attentive. Her reception of guests was warm and thorough, and her demeanor was gentle and friendly. I had several questions that needed answering, and she didn't just brush them off; instead, she explained each one in detail and even proactively offered thoughtful reminders about various considerations. She handled tasks in an organized and swift manner, resolving issues without guests needing to constantly follow up. She treated every guest equally, maintaining a patient and kind service attitude at all times. Her service was both professional and empathetic. It's rare to find such an outstanding and thoughtful staff member; I truly felt her dedication. Highly recommended, full marks!

Hygiene: Clean and hygienic. The unique tea fragrance is incredibly refreshing.
Environment: Just look at the pictures – everyone who comes here instantly falls in love.
Service: The whole family is wonderful. The dad is very trendy, the mom is incredibly wise, and the son is very enthusiastic. I drank various teas personally brewed by the owner and ate genuine tea eggs. When I couldn't join the group activities due to personal reasons and was left alone, the owner's family warmly invited me to have lunch with them. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come again.

The room was great, and the stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and genuinely helpful. They even assisted us in planning our itinerary for the next two days, as we had no idea where to go. We're so grateful! The location is perfect, right inside the scenic area, which is super convenient – you'll see what I mean when you get here. The bus stop for the scenic spots is right next door. Loved it! (●♡∀♡)

Guest UserThis is an older hotel, but the rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The service is warm and thoughtful; they even proactively offered a drying rack for clothes. The lunch and dinner offer great value for money, even better than breakfast. I suggest making the breakfast menu more diverse with new dishes and more rotation. The only drawback is that the facilities could use an update. I've noted a few issues:
1. The curtains are installed inside the window frame, which prevents them from fully covering the glass, letting light in during the morning. This was a poor experience. Perhaps replacing the curtains is too expensive, but offering some blackout strips for guests who need them would be helpful.
2. The toilet seat no longer has a soft-close feature, so it makes a loud noise when it falls. I recommend replacing it or adding bumper strips.
3. The hairdryer is an old model, not the modern high-speed, low-noise type. I also suggest regularly cleaning the filter on the back of the hairdryer, as it was completely clogged with fibers.
4. The bathroom has an exhaust fan, but it wasn't working. When I asked the front desk, they said the room had fresh air. However, the fresh air system and bathroom exhaust fan are two different systems. The fresh air system supplies air and cannot replace the bathroom exhaust fan. I recommend repairing and enabling the bathroom exhaust fan.

I took a last-minute trip to Xiamen during the May 1st holiday, and hotel prices everywhere had skyrocketed. This place, however, remained unchanged. I initially thought it might be an older hotel, but the reviews were all positive, so I booked two nights. The location is truly excellent – right next to a subway station and across from a mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. While not brand new, it was well-maintained. Being a hotel apartment, it came with a large refrigerator and a combo washer-dryer, which is perfect for trips lasting anywhere from 3 days to a week. The machine wasn't noisy either. The subway downstairs made getting anywhere very easy. The room came with two bottles of water daily, which wasn't quite enough, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately gave me six more. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The only minor thing I found a bit unusual was the breakfast – it was very vegetarian-focused, with no meat. It wasn't bad, just a bit different from what I'm used to.

Meticulously kept property at the northern end of the Wuyishan tourist area. It's a quieter area, which is 10 minutes by car from the tourist area and the Southern entrance of the Wuyishan Scenic Area and 5 minutes from the northern entrance. It's quite serene and away from the crowds. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

YadianyangyaoI brought my family to Xiamen this time and chose the Wyndham Yu Zhou, and overall we were quite satisfied with our stay. Our butler, Evelyn, was very thoughtful. A particularly memorable detail was the aromatherapy experience upon check-in. I initially thought it was just a small touch, but the subtle fragrance immediately made us feel like our 'vacation had begun.' It definitely added a special sense of ritual compared to the standard check-in process at other hotels 🌿.
If you're traveling with kids, the hotel's family fun zone is truly commendable! It's quite spacious, and the children got completely absorbed in playing, allowing the adults to finally relax a bit. For family trips, I think having a dedicated play area for kids at the hotel is crucial; otherwise, you're constantly rushing between attractions or entertaining the kids, which can be exhausting.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is also very comfortable, without feeling particularly noisy. Breakfast was my favorite type – a rich selection and delicious too. It was great not having to rush out to find food in the morning; we could enjoy a leisurely meal before heading out. The staff overall provided attentive service, and communication was smooth whenever we needed anything.
The biggest feeling I got from this stay was 'peace of mind.' We didn't have to pack our itinerary too tightly; we could find our own relaxing time right at the hotel. If you're bringing family to Xiamen, I think this is indeed a great choice ~ ☺️
