Extremely satisfied! The environment is fantastic. The location is super easy to find, right within the Shangxiahang scenic area. I spent a long time searching for the perfect place and finally settled on this one. The location is excellent, the decor is exactly my style, and it's exceptionally clean. The landlady is beautiful and so kind, and the service is spot on. I truly, highly recommend it. Shangxiahang at night is stunning, and staying here is definitely worth it!

The front desk service was great; check-in was fast, and they even upgraded me to a river view room, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of local specialties like taro paste, fish balls, seafood hotpot, peanut soup, vermicelli paste, and oyster cakes, all of which tasted delicious. It gets quite busy during breakfast, so if you go too late, you'll likely have to wait in line. The only minor inconvenience was that food deliveries can only be left at the hotel lobby on the first floor, while the front desk is on the 40th floor. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would choose this hotel again if I'm back in the area.

The room offers a great view of Gulangyu Island as soon as you open the curtains. It's also within walking distance to Zhongshan Road, and you can even walk back to the hotel from the ferry terminal after visiting Gulangyu. The housekeeping service was quite good; I accidentally pressed the 'Do Not Disturb' button when I left, and they called to ask if I still needed the room cleaned. The hotel breakfast is pretty extensive, but if you go around 10 AM, when they close at 10:30 AM, there's not much left. We booked two rooms; my parents' room had a dehumidifier, but the room I stayed in with my child didn't. Plus, our room had a strong smoky smell, which made me cough every time we came back. My parents' room didn't have this smell. We didn't change rooms for convenience since we wanted to stay together. I suspect the smell might have come from the air conditioning vents or something similar, and it was quite unpleasant. On a positive note, the restaurant on the third floor of the hotel serves delicious food, and I recommend it.

This guesthouse in Xiamen was an amazing experience! All the rooms have windows, are clean and tidy, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is super convenient. It's located near Zhongshan Road but not in the noisy downtown area, more in a residential spot. It's quiet, tucked away from the main street, yet still very close to Zhongshan Road and the Eight Markets. The back exit leads right to Xingfu Road, and you can easily hail a taxi right outside to go further afield. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful. The day before check-in, they called to send us the location, and even helped with our luggage since we had a lot. After checking in, they sent us a food guide – their service was warm and attentive, always willing to help. They patiently recommended sightseeing tips when we asked about local attractions. The breakfast was Chinese style; while not a huge variety, it was fresh and delicious – perfectly satisfying. They also provide a communal kitchen, a drying area, a stroller, and even beach digging tools. I think the owner has thought of everything! I really don't understand what kind of high expectations those negative reviewers have. You get what you pay for, and this is just a guesthouse. For this price, the service here is already exceptionally good among guesthouses.

Traveling with a child, I opted for a newer hotel, and it was quite clean. I booked two rooms, and both were upgraded – getting an upgrade for an extended stay is a real plus, especially since the hotel proactively offered it. The rooms are spacious with a very practical design. There's a robot that delivers packages quickly, so no waiting around. Since I didn't book breakfast, I can't comment on the dining, but I might try it next time. All the staff were excellent. They spoke in a very calm and unhurried manner, which was nice, haha. There was a female staff member named Xiaomi, and a tall male staff member whose name I don't recall, who was usually at the front desk – both were very patient and good.

Impressed by Wuyi, the most beautiful椿泊. The hotel is nestled in a quiet spot yet close to the action, built right along the creek. It's a pleasant walk to Song Street and Sangu Food Street. The Song Dynasty aesthetic blends seamlessly with the Wuyi Mountain landscape, creating an infinitely enchanting view. What truly stands out are the hotel staff; every single one is genuinely warm and friendly, offering prompt and thoughtful service with a sweet smile. I'll definitely be back here again!

Overall a really good stay in an old historical building, a great experience you won't get anywhere else! A butler service is included when you check in and out, where they help you pull your luggages to and fro your taxi location. The place itself is clean and cozy, and very close by to multiple food and souvenir shops! Secondly, the breakfast is beautiful and splendid! The service is really good as well, as we have to check out early on the last day, the staff also packed breakfast for us to eat on the way to the airport. And also always accomodating to our requests (like getting more bottled water, etc haha). The hotel package also includes free tea tasting and dressing up in traditional wear (which my family did not do but I wish we did!) Lastly, there is laundry service (wash and dry), but it does take a bit of time (eg: clothes are mostly done only after 8pm even if we place the clothes out around 8-9am). Maybe one thing is to let us know the estimated time it will be done ^^. But overall, I love the stay, breakfast, the kind staff, the beautiful accommodation and the hotel cat, xiaoxi!!

Excellent transit stay near Fuzhou Changle Airport! The apartment is spacious, clean, and offers a lovely sea view. The owner provides free airport pickup/drop-off and was very friendly – he even dropped us at Wanshou subway when available (ask in advance). Located just a 5-minute walk from a beach, with a few small restaurants and a mini-mart nearby, perfect for breakfast. Highly convenient for an overnight airport stop.”

The weather on the day I arrived was absolutely gorgeous, putting me in a fantastic mood. The blue skies and ocean were just perfect! I really loved the gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves. As I was traveling solo and wanted a peaceful New Year, this trip was incredibly satisfying (^^). The room itself was also very spacious, bright, and clean. I asked them to clean the room first thing in the morning when I headed out, and they were very prompt and thorough. It was a great experience. The breakfast 🍳 selection was also very diverse. Enjoying breakfast 🥞 while looking out at the pool was a lovely way to spend my New Year's trip! The ocean views from this location are truly therapeutic 🌊. They offer scheduled shuttle bus service for airport transfers and a tourist bus from the hotel to Dongdu Cruise Terminal. On the morning I left, I needed to go to Nanputuo Temple, and the bus was conveniently going in that direction, so they dropped me off near Yanwu Bridge. The manager at the hotel lobby even reminded me about it! Very thoughtful service!

The best decision for the 2026 Chinese New Year! Due to changes in our holiday schedule, we only had three days. I checked Ctrip, and Fuzhou's flight prices hadn't increased. We wanted somewhere with a beach and warm weather, and the Haiyingwan Hotel met all our needs. Perfect for a seaside stroll with the kids! The breakfast was absolutely amazing – they had Fuzhou fish balls and 'guo bian' (local rice-flour soup), plus a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. We stayed in Building 2, and the ocean was just a three-minute walk away. During low tide, the kids were so engrossed in collecting shells they didn't want to leave. The sand was fine and soft; it was incredibly relaxing, especially if you just want to entertain kids and seniors. Even my 73-year-old mother loved it. The hotel grounds are like a park. For kids who love planes, this is a treat! I heard it's the only seaside airport, so you can watch planes to your heart's content. It's not noisy at night either; with the windows closed, you can barely hear anything. **Amenities:** Very child-friendly, everything you need is there. **Hygiene:** Excellent. **Environment:** A coastal garden. **Service:** Excellent. **2-3 Person Family Package:** Truly too much food, I suggest they make it available for lunch as well in the future. **Fuzhou Airport Shuttle:** Departs every 30 minutes, always ready to go. **Seaside Mini Train:** Absolutely a favorite for little ones.
