Our stay was incredibly pleasant. The hotel was clean and hygienic, and the staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful, and there were many dining options nearby. It was also super convenient for visiting Tianmen Mountain. We miscalculated our sightseeing time and came down late, but they were very understanding and offered a late check-out. In the evenings, hot congee was available, and upon check-in, we received complimentary snacks. They even have a shared hiking pole service! We actually left our own hiking poles that we bought elsewhere. I highly recommend this place!
Our room was on the second floor, accessible only by stairs. As a mom traveling with a baby, this was quite challenging as I had to carry luggage up first, then go back down for my child. The trash bags provided in the room were of very poor quality; they kept slipping down into the bin every time I put trash in, which was quite annoying. The projector was also problematic; the image was always crooked when turned on, and I had to manually adjust it every time. Both the projector and the Wi-Fi router were positioned directly above the bed. At night, the Wi-Fi's indicator light was constantly flashing above my head, which really disturbed my sleep. I hope the hotel can address these issues in the future. The view from the room was exactly as shown in the picture, and it was quite beautiful, especially at sunset 🌇 in the evening.

The room was great, service was good, and it was clean. It's right by Huangxing Square, so transportation is very convenient. They offer many free amenities like a curling iron, facial cleanser, makeup remover, and face towels. Breakfast is served until 11 am, which is perfect for late risers. There are also complimentary fruits and snacks.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. I was initially worried that being surrounded by trendy shops near my office would make it noisy, but there was absolutely no need to worry.
The room layout was well-designed, and the front desk staff, Xiao Deng, even upgraded my room. The only minor downside was that the breakfast selection was a bit limited; I hope they can add more local specialties.

The hotel is located by the Xiang River, within walking distance of Wuyi Square and Taiping Old Street, making it super convenient for exploring and trying local delicacies like Chayan and crayfish. The service was excellent; they arranged a high-floor room with a view for us. The bedding was comfortable, and the room had an antique-style decor. It was truly relaxing to sip tea in the room while enjoying the view of Orange Isle and the distant Yuelu Mountains.

The hotel's location is great and easy to find, very close to the subway station. The room has excellent soundproofing, and the twin beds face a quiet residential area. The air conditioning works wonderfully, and there's plenty of hot water, making showers very comfortable. The front desk service is excellent. There's a free laundry room on the first floor, and the front desk even helps with drying. On the sixth floor, there's a gym with massage chairs, which is also very comfortable and free to use. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend staying here again if I have the chance!

Choosing the right hotel for a trip to Changsha is so important! The Days Inn by Wyndham Yuelu is super close to Wuyi Square, directly accessible by subway, making it incredibly convenient for shopping at IFS and trying local delicacies without any detours. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the bathroom with its wet/dry separation was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and even recommended authentic local snacks. The fitness center and laundry room were super practical. It offers excellent value for money; I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The location is super convenient, right in the Shimao Global Financial Center. Our room was on the 70th floor, and the view was absolutely stunning. There's a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right on the first floor – I went there three times in one day and didn't even have to queue! Breakfast was delivered directly to our room. When we checked in, the room wasn't quite ready, so we dropped off our luggage and went out to explore before coming back. The butler service was pretty good, and they were very receptive to our suggestions for minor improvements. Hope they continue to get even better! My kid really loved the souvenir gift.

First off, the location is super convenient, right in the city center and just a stone's throw from the night market street, making shopping incredibly easy. The room itself felt really cozy and I absolutely loved the decor and the lighting. The best part was definitely the extra-large bed. All in all, a fantastic stay, highly recommend it!

JJess and familyWe booked this hotel since it was closer to Tiamen mountain. Unfortunately the hotel is very far away from everything else and you don’t have any restaurants nearby except for the hotel restaurant.
When we booked this hotel we got an offer to get:
1 craftsman beer
100 yuan in didi tickets
2 tickets to an exhibition.
Even these we never received, the 100 yuan in didi (taxi) tickets we got when we asked for them and showed them the booking information and even though they saw the booking information in Chinese the didn’t get us the offer that we had paid for.
When we arrived at the hotel which is very grand and look very nice upon arrival they greeted us at the car which is expected for a hotel that grand but that was only the first day they did that. All other times when we got to the hotel no one greeted us, they were all busy talking to each other instead.
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and even though we booked a family room where they know 4 people was staying they gave us only amenities such as towels etc for 2 people so every day we needed to wait and ask for 2 more towels before we took a shower.
We also booked excursions through the hotel to visit Grand Canyon and also Tiamen mountain and paid over 1600 yuan for the whole family with everything included. When we came to Grand Canyon we couldn’t experience what we were there for (the zipline) because it had weight restrictions and when we contacted the sales person from the hotel she didn’t take any responsibility and just blamed everything else instead of saying that she was sorry. The day after we visited Tiamen mountain and here we had also booked a ticket that should have included everything and when we came there it was hidden fees that the sales person from the hotel hadn’t told us. When we contacted her again it was the same response that she blamed everything else instead of taking responsibility for that she hadn’t told us everything that she needed to tell us.
No compensation was given by the hotel and no excuse. When we checked ut the staff said that they would be happy if we could give them a 5 star review and my response was that I will give you a review but it’s not going to be 5 star. When they asked us explain why we did and they blamed it on the language barrier which I don’t buy since all the messages and sales were done through translation app and also through WeChat were you can translate into your own language. It would have been so easy for the hotel to say I’m sorry and for example as a compensation from us you can go down to the buffé restaurant to eat dinner but instead they blamed everything else!
We are world travelers and have been to different cities both in China and also in different country’s around the world and this is one of the hotel were we feel that they had the worst service we have experienced. When we’re coming back we will not stay here again! A fancy hotel that can not live up to the expectations.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Old Town scenic area. The hotel management is very strict, ensuring a clean environment and complete facilities. They even have an exclusive floor for Trip.com users. The hotel's service philosophy is strong; floor attendants quickly address and resolve any issues with a great attitude. The front desk staff are also very helpful, always ready to answer questions. The daily complimentary fruit helps replenish trace elements and alleviate fatigue, and upon check-out, they even offer local specialty snacks, which is a thoughtful touch. Most importantly, it's very pet-friendly, showing they are a caring establishment.
LLllaspenStylish Airbnb super close to Tianmen Park.
Good location, easy to find but not quite convenient for parking. Close to Tianmen Park if that is part of the trip plan.
Got free upgrade, so I could stay next to my parents. Two rooms with their own yards are super soothing.
Good facilities generally, but there could be some improvements too, such as the floor in my parents’ room, and maybe add some sticker on switches to avoid some confusions.
Other than that, I love the foam pillows, much better than normal soft pillows in hotels, also love the comb it provides in the bathroom. Good toilet and good bath amenities like shampoo and shower gel. Recommend to provide bathrobe too instead of waiting for request from guests.
I also love the auto curtains and traditional styled wooden door.
I couldn’t catch breakfast for my travel plan but parents did, they love it. Services from the host was great, especially when it comes to laundry service. He also helped with parking.
Overall highly recommended!
KKim from Florida, USCherry at the front of the house was 5 star amazing. Not only did she communicate with me before my arrival to confirm everything was set, including my airpirt pick-up, but was also mine and and staffs right hand when it came to language barriers. She guided me how to return with booking another night when my flight got canceled and had me quickly and safely returned to the hotel. If promotability is an option she should be front of the house manager!
Monica was also a great facilitator for my stay and at the main restaurant. Beautiful voice ❤️.
Property was beautiful and additional nature exploration time should be planned to highlight it's beauty.
GGuest UserWe‘ve been staying in No. 5 Valley for visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park. We had a pleasant stay, beautiful room with a fantastic view, amazing local food. The accommodation offers great Service especially because they speak good English. Our highlights were the exchange and learning about tea culture, swimming in the infinity pool and having someone taking care of organizational stuff (e.g. booking transfer,…)
We absolutely recommend the No.5 Valley and will definitely come back when visiting China!
PS: They also offer to book tickets for the Nationalpark for you!
AAllenguoguoAfter years of staying in hotels on our trips, we decided to try a guesthouse this time, and it was a fantastic experience! The owner was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Our accommodation was a beautiful Xiangxi stilt house, set in a lovely environment. Surrounded by mountains, the scenery was stunning. It was quiet, safe, and even had an outdoor swimming pool, which the kids absolutely loved. We could also take the little ones fishing, prawning, and feeding cats – truly perfect for families!
All the food served was home-grown and home-raised by the owner. The local free-range chicken was delicious, and the cured pork hock was also excellent. They prepared the Sanxiaguo dish exactly to our liking, adjusting it to our preferences. The ingredients were fresh, clean, and completely trustworthy. Plus, the courtyard dining area offered wonderful views. For a trip, you really can't beat a place with such a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing environment. What's more, it's conveniently located not far from the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, just about a twenty-minute drive away. Giving this guesthouse a perfect 100% rating!
RradioguyintownWe cannot understate how wonderful of an experience we had at this hotel.
To begin with, the room that we were given was practically spotless and well laid-out; on top of that, it came equipped with voice-control features which could turn off the lights, close the curtains, or adjust the air-conditioning at our convenience. Throughout our 4-day stay, we did not experience any major inconveniences whatsoever - the room was comfortable, cozy, and a relief to be in after a long day of scaling hundreds, if not thousands of steps.
However, the main highlight which brought our stay to another level was the hospitality. The warmth and kindness of the staff made us feel like we were truly at home, to the point where we extended our stay by a day. They had an undeniably incredible knowledge of the weather conditions and routes in the major tourist attractions around the town. Not only did they help us work out the confusing routing around the attractions, especially when landslides blocked key roads, but even helped us book the tickets, checking in on us via text message. When we would arrive back to the hotel, we would occasionally hear a knock on our door - it would be a staff member giving us complementary spreads of grapes and plums. In particular, Li Yen was extremely helpful and hospitable throughout our entire stay, always there as a way to seek clarification and support for planning our activities.
Overall, while the hotel room was comfortable and pleasant, it was the service, conviviality, and altruism of the staff that elevated this experience from a 5/5 to a 6/5. If given the opportunity, we would certainly return to this hotel.
DDaniel MaisternFenghuang is an incredible city, and staying at Muse Light Luxury Riverview Hostel made the experience even better. The balcony view was absolutely stunning - a perfect spot to enjoy the iconic Phoenix Bridge and the beautiful riverside scenery.
The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony itself was a highlight - relaxing and private, with a view that made every moment special.
The service was attentive and warm, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
Super recommended — we will definitely be back!
GGuest UserI had the most lovely stay at Eryatou Inn. The Inn is in an unbeatable location just 5 min walk from the East Gate entrance of the national park and right next to the lively food street and restaurants. I totally enjoyed going right back to the Inn after a long day at the park and then exploring the lively food street right outside. There are tables and chairs in front for you to enjoy your meal. The rooms are clean and cozy. But what is most amazing are the warm and super helpful staff who are experts with the park and planned out my limited time to make the most out of my visit. They really care and I am super thankful for them.
AAnonymous UserRecommended by a friend, our family of four stayed here. The antique-style decor immediately showcased its quality. We originally wanted a family room but it was fully booked, so we took the owner's recommendation for a river-view king room, which turned out to be excellent. The room was very spacious, and the owner provided an extra 1.4-meter bed, making our stay extremely comfortable; the kids especially loved it. It featured a bathtub, a projector, and even a tea room. We stayed for four nights, and each evening the owner helped us plan the next day's itinerary, even suggesting evening activities tailored to our needs. This personalized service was truly a huge plus! Overall, the room facilities were great, the views stunning, and the owner's service outstanding. We will definitely recommend this place to many more friends!
