Sea View Hotels in Fujian, China

I originally wanted to book a hotel on Xiamen Island, but to my surprise, Qianwen recommended this five-star hotel, and its value for money really caught my eye. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a sea-view room, which was incredibly spacious and spotless. The ocean view from the window was stunning. Directly across from the hotel is a park, and an evening stroll there was lovely with all the beautiful lights. The hotel service was also excellent, and they even offered a complimentary afternoon tea. Breakfast was extensive, and the freshly prepared congee was particularly outstanding. The only minor drawback is that Metro Line 2 is 1.2 kilometers from the hotel, which is a bit far. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, definitely a 5-star experience!

Let me write a serious review about this accommodation experience. I landed at 1 AM, and there was still a staff member there for the late-night airport pickup. Communication was very smooth. Thumbs up. It was already late when I checked in. A second staff member helped me with the check-in process and then assisted with carrying my luggage. This saved a lot of time and effort. Thumbs up. The next day, I wanted to extend my stay, but it seemed all the rooms were booked. I bothered the second staff member again to help coordinate, and eventually, I didn't have to switch rooms and could continue staying in my original room. Thumbs up. It happened to be graduation season for university students, so there were many young people staying who were up late at night. As a middle-aged person who has trouble sleeping, I once again bothered the front desk staff. Their response was very quick, and after a while, the surroundings became much quieter. I felt really bad about bothering the staff; as the saying goes, 'customers' requests keep the staff on their toes,' but their attitude was genuinely excellent. The apartment was also clean, and the disposable amenities made me feel more at ease. Thumbs up. Finally, the staff member asked if I needed an airport drop-off. From start to finish, the service was complete and thorough. Thumbs up. The beach opposite the apartment was less crowded, had a great atmosphere, and was perfect for photos.

This location is absolutely incredible! You're right at Shapowei, and you can easily cycle down to Baishatan (White Sand Beach) and Music Plaza – it's all super convenient. The place is very clean, and for this price and location, with such an amazing sea view, it's an absolute steal. Truly perfect! I genuinely recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's fantastic!

Friendly receptionists, kind, and helpful. Great location, close to bus station, ferry terminals and Zhongshan Road. The sea view rooms have splendid views. Don't miss it! Choosing the Xiamen Lujiang Hotel for my stay was the best decision ever! Its location is fantastic, directly facing Gulangyu Island. It's within walking distance to the ferry terminal, Zhongshan Road, and the lively Eight Markets, and close to Zhenhai Road Metro Station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The sea view room offered stunning sunset views over Gulangyu, an absolutely amazing experience! The facilities are comprehensive, including a heated swimming pool and a gym. Dining is easy, and the breakfast spread is extensive, with child-friendly amenities and services. The service was professional. Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. They were especially accommodating to families, providing children's amenities. We also received a fruit platter and extra bottled water upon request. The room supervisor, Geng Hongyan, even folded a cute little dolphin out of a towel for my child, who was absolutely thrilled to find it in the room! These thoughtful touches added so much joy to our trip!

The room itself is very spacious, yet the price is incredibly reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The cleanliness is impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers are changed for every new guest, and the bathroom has no odor whatsoever. Even though it's a budget hotel, the service is top-notch. The front desk staff are always helpful, answering all my questions and even recommending local snacks and delicacies. For a business trip or a short getaway, this place is definitely the right choice!

This long-standing hotel, with its extensive history, has truly pushed the boundaries in terms of hardware renovation and service upgrades. While the rooms aren't particularly spacious, they have a cozy, master-bedroom-like feel. Breakfast was quite good, especially the oyster vermicelli. Though I didn't have time to visit Gulangyu Island, it was nice to at least catch glimpses of it from the restaurant while eating. A special thanks to the driver who took me to and from the concert. Even though the venue was practically across the entire island, the driver was so enthusiastic and attentive, making me feel very safe. The nearby streets are also great for exploring. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Xiamen.

The location is great, very close to Shapowei with many local snacks. The accommodation space is sufficient, able to host 10 people, and the overall arrangement is convenient. However, during peak showering times, the hot water supply was insufficient, requiring us to take turns. The room's cleanliness was average, with room for improvement.

I initially booked for two nights, but extended my stay for an extra day due to the great value for money. The service staff are warm and patient, and all reasonable requests are met. I felt the hotel's service was very professional, making for a worry-free stay. I had read reviews mentioning outdated facilities, but I believe this hotel has a history, stories, and a warm atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Xiamen in the future.
