I specifically chose this hotel because of its location. Gulangyu Island is right across the street, so you can enjoy the view and watch the sunset from your room. It's also within walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and a short taxi ride to Nanputuo Temple and the Botanical Garden, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast was decent. The Chinese restaurant on the third floor is quite good. The housekeeping staff made an effort to fold a small animal out of towels every day and place it in the room, which was a nice touch.

Extremely satisfied! The guesthouse owner personally escorted us to our room and gave us a detailed introduction to the local attractions and dining options, especially how to get to the beach and the best way to walk there. What's most noteworthy is how close the guesthouse is to the sea; you just walk out of the complex, cross the road, and you're there. The beach is beautiful; at sunset, the sea is bathed in a golden glow, even the waves shimmer with gold, and there are many small birds foraging on the sand. Strolling along the beach, chasing the waves 🌊, I was completely enchanted. In the evening, going clamming is an excellent choice, and the guesthouse thoughtfully provides tools and sand toys for kids free of charge. This trip was a bit rushed, so next time, I'll definitely make sure to set aside more time to play!

This hotel is affordable and comes with complete amenities. It's clean, the environment is excellent, quiet, and the service is exceptionally warm. Here are a few highlights from our family stay:
Coming out of Yangzhou Station, take bus Y1 to the Slender West Lake West Gate stop. Get off and walk straight for about 50 meters, and you're there. The hotel's main entrance is right next to McDonald's, and the back exit leads directly to the Slender West Lake West Gate entrance. For those traveling with children, seniors, or people who easily get lost, you can't get any closer – this point definitely gets a perfect score.
Taking a taxi or Didi to Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, or Yangzhou East Station costs between 10 and 20 yuan, which is incredibly budget-friendly. Yangzhou's morning tea culture and food scene are fantastic. Taking a taxi from the hotel, there are various local eateries a few kilometers away in different directions. You can check out popular restaurants on Dianping for authentic Huaiyang cuisine – the taste is simply amazing. In short, if you're planning a self-guided tour, staying here is incredibly convenient and excellent. Thumbs up!

Great location: It's right opposite the ferry terminal and next to Zhongshan Road. Though Zhongshan Road isn't really for shopping – just good for photos and checking in – I wouldn't recommend buying anything there as it's all geared towards tourists.
New facilities: Newly renovated last year in a Nanyang style, it smells fresh. The toilets are smart, and the hairdryer is a Dyson. However, there's no makeup mirror in the bathroom, but you can call the front desk for one.
Breakfast: While the variety isn't huge, the quality is excellent. They offer local specialties like 'Mianxian paste' (noodle paste), 'Shacha noodles' (BBQ sauce noodles), turnip cake, and water chestnut cake, so there's no need to eat out. You can also order complimentary specialty dim sum like soup dumplings and char siu buns, and there's even papaya with bird's nest. The restaurant also offers views of Gulangyu Island.
The service is good, and the price isn't too high, making it great value for money. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit. #HighQualityHotel

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right next to bus stops and a subway station, with direct subway access to the Shaanxi History Museum. Super convenient for tourists. The lobby has a stylish, vintage vibe and even thoughtfully provides a printer and computer, so you don't have to worry about urgent work tasks. The laundry room and gym are conveniently located near the guest rooms, accessible anytime, making things super easy and hassle-free. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, giving me great peace of mind. What really stood out was the front desk service – always greeted with a warm smile and attentive, making you feel right at home. My stay was incredibly pleasant, whether for leisure or business, I'd highly recommend it without hesitation. Definitely no regrets!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the beach that will leave you speechless. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making you feel like you're in a paradise.
But what truly made our stay exceptional was our driver. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly throughout our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, he was warm and welcoming, making us feel at ease. His professionalism and courtesy were evident in every interaction, and he went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
What's even more remarkable is that despite his exceptional service, he refused to accept any tips. His kindness and generosity truly made our stay memorable.
If you're looking for a hotel that offers not only stunning views but also exceptional service, look no further. This hotel is a must-book, especially if you're looking for a beach view. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
As soon as you see the pictures of this hotel, you'll know why it's a gem. The beach views are simply stunning, and the hotel's amenities are top-notch. Don't hesitate – book your stay as soon as possible.

This is a true beachfront hotel with amazing views! It's seamlessly connected to the beach, making it super safe for families with seniors and kids. Watching the sunrise in the morning and going crabbing at night are incredibly convenient. It's perfect for family vacations! The rooms are clean and tidy, and the balcony has a small tea table, which is lovely for enjoying the sea breeze with a cup of tea. The hotel offers free parking, a self-service laundry room, and a children's play area, so the kids won't get bored. We received complimentary welcome fruits upon check-in, and the watermelon was a thoughtful touch. The staff proactively offered help with luggage, and they were quick to assist with requests for sand toys or a charger. The breakfast selection is extensive, including local specialties like fish balls and 'rou yan' (meat swallows), offering great value for money. Plus, it's close to the airport, and the shuttle service is very convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next beach trip. Highly recommend!

This stay exceeded my expectations; it definitely deserves a five-star review! The room was spacious and bright, with a cozy and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and clean, and the shower had great water pressure with hot water coming quickly. The location is excellent, right by a subway station, making it super convenient to get to attractions. What impressed me most was the friendly and thoughtful front desk staff, who even prepared a travel guide for me. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the front desk also proactively helped me call a taxi when I checked out. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit and have already recommended it to my friends.

GGuest UserThis veteran five-star hotel boasts an unbeatable location. Right outside, you'll find Zhenhai Road Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Zhongshan Road is just a short walk away, perfect for enjoying food and drinks. There's also a bus stop right at the entrance, so you can reach Xiamen University and Shapowei with hardly any transfers. The cleanliness and bedding are excellent. It's truly a hotel at a transportation hub.
GGuest UserI was dead set on leaving a bad review.
Front Office: There was absolutely no service. They couldn't even provide a room after 3 PM, and when I asked how long the wait would be, they couldn't give a definitive answer, only saying no one had responded yet. Is inter-departmental communication that difficult? The front desk staff, despite being numerous and seemingly idle, just made me stand there and wait. They didn't offer a bottle of water or even direct me to a seat; all they'd say was they'd call when the room was ready.
Breakfast Restaurant: The service here was genuinely excellent. They guided me to a seat and poured coffee, and even the chefs delivered freshly baked croissants to each table. The breakfast selection was also quite rich.
Cleanliness: Although the hotel is a bit older, the room carpets were very clean.
Despite the exceptionally poor front desk service, I would still choose this hotel for my next trip to Xiamen.

2203803****The Bayview B&B was definitely the highlight of this trip. The warm welcome from the front desk staff and the owner made me feel right at home, completely erasing any sense of unfamiliarity. The room was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, with excellent natural light. The balcony view was an added bonus; sitting there in the evening, enjoying the breeze, was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was a delightful surprise – fresh ingredients and beautifully presented, really showing the owner's thoughtfulness. It's incredibly good value for money, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone! A special shout-out to the kind and attentive housekeeper, who provided such thoughtful service that it almost made me feel bad. Unforgettable! I'll definitely be back next year.
FFengjingmanyouzheI did a lot of research before coming to Xiamen and had a tough time choosing, as accommodation, food, and transport are all crucial parts of a trip. I'm so glad I finally picked the InterContinental Hotel!
The room was spacious and bright, with direct views of the sea and the Mazu statue. The high ceilings made the space feel even larger and very comfortable. The room was also very quiet, so I had an excellent rest.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, always proactively asking if I needed anything and doing their best to provide convenient services in every way.
The breakfast, buffet lunch, and executive dinner were all excellent, especially the pastries which were exquisite and delicious. I don't usually eat a lot of Western pastries, but the ones at InterContinental really suited my taste!
My week-long trip, from the city of Xiamen itself, its scenery, dining, culture, to the hotel I stayed in, was all delightful and enjoyable. It made me reluctant to leave this perfect holiday experience. If I ever get the chance to visit Xiamen again, the InterContinental Hotel will definitely be my first choice.

AAnonymous UserThe experience at the Xiamen Portman Seven Star Bay Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself resembles a castle and even has its own 'Portman Town' connected by an electric shuttle, though it's only a 5-minute walk. Strolling through it felt like being in the world of Harry Potter, perfect for photos. We visited when it was decorated with a snowy theme, adding an extra touch of romance. Inside the hotel, you can even take pictures with 'walking' lions and leopards, which was a lot of fun.
The breakfast was incredibly rich, featuring a wide array of Chinese and Western dishes, hot and cold drinks, and thoughtfully included local Xiamen delicacies like satay noodles and oyster vermicelli soup. The dining environment was also very elegant. Our room was decorated in a vintage French style, spacious with an expansive view of the beautiful sea.
The hotel facilities were comprehensive and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. There's a gym, a swimming pool, a rock climbing area, and a children's water park. The hotel itself is an excellent vacation destination; with its French garden-like setting and various unique buildings, you could easily spend a day or two without even leaving. The complimentary travel photography service was also a thoughtful touch. Right outside, you'll find a seaside promenade with large lawns and coconut groves, and in the evening, you can enjoy music and fireworks at the beachside bar. The nearby Sunshine Town food street offers delicious local cuisine, with the pan-fried red paste crab being particularly tasty.
In summary, this is an excellent choice for a leisurely getaway. If you visit outside of peak holiday seasons, the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended!
GG-Y-QIt's the off-season in Xiamen, so hotel prices were relatively cheap, and they upgraded me to a sea-view room. Breakfast was at the Marriott and had a great variety. This is my third time staying at this hotel... However, today when I tried to extend my stay, the front desk deliberately made things difficult, which was a bit frustrating.
AAnonymous UserThis is my second stay here, and I absolutely love the new Chinese-style room. It's spacious, and the soundproofing is quite good, ensuring a great night's sleep! The front desk staff upgraded me to an executive sea-view room, and the view was fantastic!
Harlan from the lounge was incredibly helpful. I had an urgent video meeting, but my room wasn't ready yet. Harlan kindly opened the lounge for me in advance, allowing me to finish my meeting smoothly! When the room was ready, they even handed me the key card directly in the lounge and thoughtfully helped me with my luggage to the room. I'm very grateful! The lounge's afternoon tea is excellent, and the view is expansive. I didn't get to try the evening happy hour, but I'll definitely experience it next time.
Overall, both the environment and the service are excellent!
GGuobao^_^Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too.
Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room.
For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills.
Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it.
It's a really adorable doll 🥰
LLuwenyaoStaying at Xiamen Teagoo Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The location is absolutely fantastic – a 3-minute walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, 5 minutes to the ferry terminal, and Zhenhai Road subway station is right nearby, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent; I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all. The sea view room offered expansive views, with direct sight of Gulangyu Island and the twin towers at night, making for beautiful photos straight out of the camera. The front desk staff were warm and efficient; check-in was very fast. The breakfast included local闽南(Min-South) specialties like Shacha noodles and peanut soup, which were delicious. The value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Xiamen!
