We were lured to this hotel through recommendation of influencers that boast this hotel with it's majestic look of that looking like a Chinese traditional castle. Although the location is not quite what we really like as it is about 8-10mins walking from the nearest Metro Station (Nanmen Metro) but the price was quite affordable and enticing that we decided to give it a try. The hotel facade does looks magnificant, grand and big from afar, the interior is huge and traditionally well-kept even though the design looks a bit dated but I find that it stays classy and traditional that way. We were assigned to one of the furthest room all the way to the back at 5069. The walk was quite long since it was all the way at the back. Room is definitely big and allow opening of luggages all at one go. The amenities given was sufficient, except they can improve by giving more shower bath gel and shampoo as the small bottles was not enough. Was also hoping they could have install international plugs for their international guest being an international hotel chain as well. Their staffs were polite and professional. Woudl recommend anyone coming to Suzhou to give this hotel one shot at least! The most important thing is the hotel stay comes with complimentary park access which is connected at the back of the hotel which would cost RMB40 if you were to pay to go in! Worth it!

Highly recommend! This is the best value for money hotel in Wuxi! This used to be the Grand Hyatt, rebranded last year. The overall environment is clean, elegant, and well-maintained. The high-floor views are expansive, and it's located in the heart of the city's central business district, with excellent dining, shopping, and transportation options nearby. The overall experience was superb. From check-in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The butler followed up on our needs throughout our stay, proactively asking if we needed assistance – very professional and meticulous, making the experience top-notch. The hotel proactively upgraded the twin room we booked for my parents to a high-floor room on the 62nd floor for free, offering even better views and a more comfortable stay. This thoughtful upgrade was truly heartwarming. We stayed in the Candy House themed bunk bed room, and my child absolutely loved it the moment we walked in. After visiting several cities on this trip, my child directly rated this as their favorite place overall, saying they loved Wuxi the most. This high praise from a child truly reflects the hotel's dedication. The only minor drawback was the parking experience: upon arrival, there were very few signs, and almost no hotel-specific signage in the parking lot, making it difficult to find our way. Also, the third basement level had an unpleasant smell, while the second basement level was fine. This was a slight inconvenience. The hotel's proactive upgrade, the attentive service throughout, the excellent environment, and the comprehensive surrounding amenities, plus the kid-favorite themed room, made this stay a perfect 10. Whether for a family vacation or a business trip, this is an excellent choice in Wuxi. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Wuxi!

The location is super convenient, really close to a major subway station, making it easy to get to all the attractions. This time, I stayed in a king-size room in the Asia-Pacific building. I was a bit nervous before checking in due to some negative reviews I'd read, but the actual experience was excellent! We stayed in rooms 4116 and 4117, which were near a corner and very quiet. The only minor drawback was the view, which overlooked a building undergoing renovation, but everything else felt great. The staff were all very welcoming and enthusiastic; they'd proactively open doors, help with luggage, and answer any questions. Around 10 PM, a staff member even patrolled the floor and specifically reminded us when our door wasn't closed properly. The cleaning aunties were also very kind and kept our room spotless every day, even neatly folding clothes we'd left scattered when rushing out. For food delivery, a robot brings it right to your door, so you don't have to go down or interact with anyone – very friendly for introverts! 😃

This was our family's first trip to Suzhou, and we chose this hotel! The room was quite nice, it's a new hotel, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and they replenished water and Coke daily. There's a coffee machine (the coffee was delicious!). They also have self-service laundry facilities (I didn't use them, so I can't comment on the washing effectiveness). There's a lounge area, but we were out exploring every day and didn't have time to use it. The owner is hands-on, and everything is great, including the service. The owner even gave us some travel tips. However, be careful not to wear the disposable slippers when showering, as the floor gets incredibly slippery. The 'Xiao Du' smart assistant was very convenient, and any minor issues were easily resolved! I suggest the front desk could provide some travel guides, or perhaps a written list of places the owner recommends. Maybe even partner with a travel agency for one-day tours? That would certainly appeal to guests like me who are looking for day trip options! If you're looking for a room with a window overlooking the water, this isn't the place for you.

This InterContinental-owned Crowne Plaza hotel, located in a prime spot by Jinji Lake, truly lives up to its reputation for consistent quality. Everything from the facilities and services to the family-friendly amenities is top-notch. The hotel itself is shaped like a cruise ship, giving it a unique nautical theme. We took our child to the hotel's beautifully warm and almost magical heated pool (which also has a dry sauna), and they absolutely loved the fantastic kids' play area (free for guests). It has everything a child could dream of: games, a ball pit, a large slide, a picture book corner, an art area, and even two arcade machines – truly a paradise for little ones. We booked a standard king room, which came with a bathtub and bath salts, a Dyson hairdryer, and comfortable bathrobes. And I have to give a huge thumbs-up to the breakfast! The variety was incredible and so abundant. The Suzhou-style noodles with various toppings were delicious, and the handmade burgers and honeycomb honey were surprisingly good. The dessert section was like a full buffet with all sorts of freshly baked bread and pastries. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's only a 10-minute taxi ride from Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station and about 20 minutes to Suzhou Station. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next business trip or vacation to Suzhou. They even had crabs and strawberries!

The location is fantastic, just about 20 meters from the subway station, a 2-minute walk. The service is definitely the biggest plus; they pretty much met every request. They proactively upgraded our room and gave our child complimentary breakfast. We also received welcome fruit, and they even escorted us to the elevator, among other thoughtful gestures. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich. The revolving restaurant offers great views, but the facilities are a bit old. The electric curtains were broken, and the most annoying thing was that after turning off the TV, it would make a 'bong bong' sound for over an hour before finally going quiet. I suggest the manager look into it. If you're looking for good value for money, this place is a decent option. Next time, I might opt for the Westin across the street, as the price difference on some platforms isn't that significant.

This suite was perfect for our family trip! The living room in the middle was fantastic, and everyone in the family was really happy with it. It even comes with a fully equipped kitchen! I've stayed in many suites before where the kitchens were basically unusable, but this one was absolutely perfect. It was great to be able to make baby food for my little one. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at the Intercontinental in Shanghai last year, so when I planned my trip to Nanjing this Chinese New Year, I decisively chose the Intercontinental again. And just as I expected, the Intercontinental Nanjing was absolutely perfect! 😍 The front desk clerk arranged a room for us on the 65th floor, and our service butler, Alice, meticulously sent us detailed information about all the hotel services and transportation options for various attractions. 🙏 We're very grateful! 🙏 The room was spacious, and being on such a high floor, the entire city of Nanjing stretched out before us – the views were stunning. The breakfast was nutritious and had a great variety of both Western and Chinese options. Next time I come to Nanjing, I'll definitely choose to stay at the Intercontinental again.

CCicixiI forgot to take pictures when I entered the room. Well, how should I put it? It was indeed quite busy during the Chinese New Year, so there was no 'leisurely drink time' (referring to a specific hotel service/amenity), and I didn't feel any 'butler service'. The souvenir gift was an Artemisia argyi moxa stick hammer and a travel-sized hotel shower gel. The room itself was okay, but perhaps because of the hot spring bath, there was a certain smell in the room. I'd suggest all rooms have windows. The breakfast service was pretty good though.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserThe room, while a bit dated and standard, was thankfully odorless, which was a huge improvement over my last stay at Suxiang. Traveling with our 1.5-year-old, we appreciated having a play area. It was too hot to go out, so we ended up eating all our meals at the hotel. The food was quite delicious; we tried both Chinese and Western options, and they were all good. All the service staff were incredibly well-trained, polite, and friendly. A special mention to Xiaoqiu from customer service for her exceptionally thoughtful service. The travel photography experience was also excellent and completely hassle-free. We will definitely return!

GGuest UserThis Hilton was our first family trip, and I absolutely loved the overall design. It's aesthetically pleasing and blends seamlessly with the surrounding nature, never feeling out of place. Many of the landscape trees are artfully trimmed, showcasing Suzhou's renowned garden style, which is delightful to behold. The hotel itself, and its surroundings, feel like a scenic attraction, and the kids had a blast! The breakfast selection was a bit limited, and there weren't many staff at the made-to-order stations. Even though we went during off-peak hours, service slowed down considerably when more people arrived. The bread and pastry section had few options, and the quality was average; there were almost no Western pastries. Getting around the hotel relies on golf carts, and they're pretty much always available on demand. The drivers work very hard and have excellent service attitudes. Overall, it's a great place for a relaxing vacation. However, it's not fully equipped for families with young children; we didn't see any booster seats for kids or disposable bibs, and they weren't proactively offered either.
