Pan Pacific Suzhou is one of those rare hotels where the stay itself feels like part of the sightseeing. It combines Suzhou’s classical garden charm with modern comforts in a way that feels both tranquil and indulgent.
Garden resort setting
The hotel is built in the style of a classical Suzhou garden, with courtyards, covered walkways, sculpted bridges, ponds and pavilions spread over expansive grounds. Walking around the property can feel like wandering through a private scenic park, with many rooms and paths looking directly onto landscaped greenery and traditional architecture.
Direct access to Panmen Scenic Area
A standout perk is its location right beside the historic Panmen Scenic Area, home to ancient gates, pagodas and canals. Guests typically enjoy complimentary or convenient access via a dedicated entrance, turning morning strolls or evening walks among the illuminated walls and waterways into a daily ritual rather than a rushed excursion.
Rooms and views
Most rooms offer either serene garden vistas or views over Panmen’s walls, waterways and even Ruiguang Pagoda from some angles. Inside, the rooms pair contemporary comforts like high‑speed internet and workspaces with warm, subtly traditional decor, so you get a sense of place without sacrificing modern convenience.
Location and convenience
While it feels like a secluded resort, the hotel sits in a prime Suzhou district with easy access to key attractions, shopping and dining. Suzhou Railway Station is only a short drive away and the nearest metro station is about a five‑minute walk, making it straightforward to reach popular gardens and business areas without losing that peaceful “garden retreat” base.

The location is excellent, and the high-floor view is quite good. The afternoon tea included in the Trip.com package was incredibly good value for money, I just forgot to take a picture before eating it.
The room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The facilities aren't brand new; there's no high-speed hairdryer or smart toilet, and the power outlet next to the desk was a bit difficult to open. There's only one tissue box, placed on the vanity. However, these are minor issues and don't really matter; they're easily adjustable.
What I found unacceptable were two problems. Firstly, the elevator shaft connecting the suspended lobby to the first floor constantly emitted a whistling wind sound, which was noisy and unsettling. Secondly, I'm not sure if the air conditioning system is old and ineffective, or if they're saving energy and haven't turned it on properly. I couldn't adjust the temperature or mode. Outside, the temperature was dropping fast, nearing zero degrees, yet even with the in-room AC control set to 28°C, there was still no airflow. I called the front desk, and it took an age for someone to arrive. They pointed a forehead thermometer at the vent, it beeped, and they claimed the vent was blowing 26°C, saying there was no problem and that this was the set temperature, controlled centrally by the hotel. The problem is, I had the whimsical idea to hold a paper-thin tissue up to the vent, and it didn't even flutter.

During the New Year's Day holiday, I was planning a trip to Nanjing and compared various hotel chains. Ultimately, I felt that Jinling Hotel had the best location, so after reading reviews, I booked a room in the Asia Pacific Tower.
The hotel's location is fantastic; it's just a two or three-minute walk from Exit 6 of Xinjiekou Metro Station. Whether you're taking a taxi or the metro, nothing feels far away.
Upon entering the room, I was impressed by the thoughtful layout and excellent facilities. The mini-bar was complimentary, and even the AHAVA toiletries were a pleasant surprise. After using them, my hair felt voluminous and my scalp wasn't itchy or dry – I even asked about the price because I wanted to buy them for home, haha!
The concierge and housekeeping services were also top-notch. I order a lot of takeout, often several at once, and it's reassuring that the concierge department verifies the room number and name. When the robots are busy, the concierge staff personally deliver the food. Yesterday morning, when a concierge staff member brought my takeout, he noticed a bag of my previous takeout outside my door and kindly took it away – I really appreciate his attentiveness! When taking a taxi, the concierge also helps with opening and closing car doors and carrying luggage. The housekeeping hotline was very responsive; when I mentioned my pillow was too soft, they promptly provided me with a suitable latex pillow. The cleaning lady thoughtfully tidied my small desk and even left extra bottled water.
All these little touches are examples of excellent attention to detail and warm service. Jinling Hotel will definitely be my first choice when I visit Nanjing again.

This is the most comfortable hotel we've stayed at, and the kids absolutely loved it! Besides the hot springs, there are also small animals, arcade games for children, and even a beach, making it truly ideal for families of all ages. What's even better is that Slender West Lake is directly opposite the hotel, just a short walk away – super convenient! Every staff member at the hotel was also incredibly friendly and approachable. Knowing we had children, they thoughtfully and proactively provided kids' slippers and toiletries, which was a very kind gesture. Overall, our stay was very comfortable!

This hotel, located right in the heart of Guanqian Street, is absolutely perfect for exploring Suzhou's old town. It's just a short walk to Pingjiang Road, where you can stroll along cobblestone paths and admire the picturesque canals. Getting to the Humble Administrator's Garden is also super convenient, whether by taxi or subway. Even the popular Shaanxi Street, a must-visit for Instagrammers, is comfortably within reach, so you don't have to worry about transportation at all.
Stepping into the room, the New Chinese style decor is immediately striking. The elegant wooden tones combined with simple Chinese ornaments perfectly capture the gentle and refined essence of Jiangnan. The king-size bed is wonderfully soft yet supportive, making you feel like you're sinking into a cloud – a great night's sleep is guaranteed. The smart toilet and smart shower are definite bonuses, adding a touch of high-tech comfort to the experience. What's even more thoughtful is that the hotel provides washing machines and dryers, completely solving any laundry worries during your trip. And the serene and elegant tea room is a perfect spot to relax and unwind; brewing a pot of Biluochun tea there is pure bliss.
Room soundproofing is also top-notch. Once the door is closed, all outside noise is shut out, allowing us to enjoy truly peaceful and comfortable rest after a busy day of sightseeing. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Suzhou. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Highly recommend this hotel for couples! It's a three-story building, and the hallways are great for photos. You can even see the Gate of the Orient from the 7th-floor balcony. The hotel is super close to the newly opened MixC World, just a skywalk away. It was renovated in 2025, and there's no strong formaldehyde smell in the rooms. The facilities are quite complete, and the toothbrushes aren't those cheap disposable ones. The hygiene is excellent.
For couples checking in, here are a few tips:
1. When you check in, ask the front desk for a disposable bathtub liner. The tissue box might not have a tissue sticking out; you'll need to flip it over and open the bottom to get one.
2. The fixed showerhead can be adjusted, so you don't have to stand right against the wall.
3. The main bed doesn't have outlets at the headboard, but the two side beds do. The switch for the inner side bed only controls the small circular light at the foot of that bed (see pic 5). The spotlights for the side bed near the bar are what control the ambient lighting at the headboard and under the bed.
4. Also, I want to complain that I didn't get a random cultural and creative blind box!
5. Still, I highly recommend staying here.

The Crowne Plaza Suzhou is ideally located on the west bank of Jinji Lake, south of Modern Avenue, just across the street from landmarks like the Gate of the Orient and Suzhou Center Plaza, and right next to the Musical Fountain Square. Its unique cruise ship design is a real eye-catcher. From the east bank of Jinji Lake, you can see the 'Big Underpants' (Gate of the Orient) and the 'cruise ship' (Crowne Plaza) in the same frame, especially dazzling at night with all the lights.
The hotel's service truly reflects the high standards of the IHG group:
The night before check-in, a hotel representative called to confirm our reservation. Upon learning that our party included two seniors and one child, they specially noted our requests for early check-in and a twin room at the front desk and tried their best to accommodate them.
Upon arrival, the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Room, which was very spacious. The two single beds, in particular, were wide enough for one adult and one child to comfortably share a bed without feeling cramped.
The service throughout our stay was incredibly warm and attentive. The bellhop proactively helped with our luggage, and after checking in, the front desk staff kindly escorted us to the elevators. Learning that we had a boy with us, they even arranged for housekeeping to deliver a pair of children's slippers.
The breakfast buffet was a definite highlight. The dining environment at Saint Saloon Western Restaurant was very bright and comfortable, and we were even able to sit at the 'bow' of the ship, enjoying the beautiful views of Jinji Lake while we ate.
Guests also enjoy complimentary parking. After registering our license plate number at the front desk, driving in and out of the hotel multiple times was very smooth.
Whether for a family vacation or a business trip to Suzhou, the Crowne Plaza Suzhou is an excellent choice.
Our trip was an excellent experience! The concierge, Fiona, reached out early via WeChat, arranged a fantastic room for us, and even booked a table with a window view at the Chinese restaurant. She was incredibly warm and lovely, always responding and resolving any issues immediately. The hotel has a great location and wonderful views. The duck blood vermicelli soup at breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar. The concierge service was outstanding; a particularly enthusiastic doorman, Lu Yuanzhen, helped us with our luggage every time we came and went, and our bags were always delivered to our room. This hotel offers truly exceptional service. I'll definitely choose InterContinental again on my next visit to Nanjing. Our first trip of the New Year was absolutely delightful. Wishing everyone here a Happy New Year!

1. There is no self-service laundry room. When I almost lost my clothes while doing laundry, I ran to the front desk, and the relevant person in charge shied away from responsibility, which caused high communication costs;
2. The cleaning aunt basically ignored the room sign at the door indicating whether to clean or not. I chose ”no cleaning yet” but when I came back in the evening, I still found that the aunt came in to clean;
3. The overall service attitude at the front desk is so-so, because the front desk was not very active and enthusiastic for a few days, but this is not too demanding.
3. The Wifi signal quality is not very good.
Summary: There are some shortcomings, but based on the price, it is generally reasonable.
All are very good, the service is warm, the lobby is tall and grand, the room is clean and sanitary, the front desk staff is very nice, it feels very comfortable, travel is also very convenient, and the cost performance is very high

MM425341****We booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
MM232545****The location of the hotel is easy to find, and the staff will contact you in advance to guide you to the location before you check in. The hotel is located in a resort. The environment is very good. It is comfortable and quiet. The rooms are clean and complete with complete sanitary facilities. The hotel manager Nice and the housekeeper Guo Juan provide warm, meticulous and proactive services. The shuttle bus within the resort is also very convenient. The hot spring included in the package was as good as expected. Since I had children with me, the hot spring attendant Aunt Niu Xia took special care of the children. Overall, highly recommended!

HHuahuaxiaojiejiePerhaps due to the room type, both rooms were far from the elevator. Around 8 a.m., there was a thumping noise from upstairs. The room was spacious, but the downside was that there was no TV or refrigerator. If you wanted to cool something, you had to go up to the second floor, which was quite inconvenient. If you were picking up a tour driver, you had to have him go into the lobby and scan a QR code before you could leave.
The breakfast here was very poor. There was no basic milk, juice, or sauces. The outside bar only had two kinds of pickled cucumber and plain porridge. I got a bowl of bland noodles, so I skipped it the next day! It was simply not good.
It's a shame that the hotel rooms are basic, but the food wasn't well-received.
MM287623****## Environment:
Excellent! The hotel is clearly designed for large conferences, so it's incredibly spacious – it actually felt larger than the entire Xizha scenic area in Wuzhen! Located right on Tongli Lake, it boasts absolute prime lake views and is within walking distance of the ancient town. The landscaping and overall greenery are very high-end and luxurious.
## Cleanliness:
Lacks attention to detail. The lakeside pavilions had quite a few cobwebs and bird droppings. There were also cobwebs outside the room window. The Daguan Garden area is currently under renovation, which made that section look a bit desolate.
## Room:
This time we had a standard room. While no lake view was understandable, the window faced another room's window, which was pitch dark and a bit eerie at night – I'm not sure if it was a conference room. There was absolutely no greenery outside, as you can see from the pictures. I believe this is the area that most urgently needs improvement.
## Service:
The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, always greeted us with smiles, and were very professional.
## Facilities:
Also very impressive. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean, with several sprinklers inside, making it very suitable for children. It was a pity we didn't bring our swimsuits this time. We did play table tennis, and the court was good. There's also golf, but we couldn't go due to the rain.
## Breakfast:
Mediocre. The dining area was quite small, and the variety of food was limited. It didn't match the hotel's overall standard, and disappointingly, the venue didn't offer lake views either. It felt like the entire long lakeside wasn't well utilized for dining, which is a real shame.
## Other Points:
We purchased a package deal this time. The package included 'Tongli Night Tour,' which we initially assumed meant the hotel would provide tickets or some sort of activity. However, there was nothing of the sort; it merely implied you could go to Tongli Ancient Town yourself at night. How can this be included in a package? I find it misleading. Furthermore, the minibar only contained four Master Kong soft drinks, which felt very stingy.
## Overall:
The hotel's hardware facilities, stunning views, and service level are all up to par. Despite some minor issues, it is still highly recommended.
RRyanYGEvery big holidays, our family has visited this hotel. It's already 4th time. Time flies. Even though, some facilities and cleanness are not perfect as same as 2 years ago, the cozy mood is fit for us. BTW, hot spring, please operate everyday. Only for winter time is not that pleasant for visitors who like to see sunset in the hot spring. After changing from Dusit Thani to Hilton, little bit decent but need to be improved. Too many flies in restaurant, aisle of buildings need to be clean. However, we will be there again. Thank you for staffs' kindness.
MM245178****Right between T1 and T2, which is super convenient. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; you barely hear any noise even though you're in an airport.
Facilities: The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bedding is very comfortable. There's a balcony, but you can't open it due to airport regulations.
Cleanliness: It's very clean, just what you'd expect from Pullman.
Environment: The environment is great. It's amazing to have such comfortable living conditions right inside the airport.
Service: The service staff are friendly, and check-in was very quick.
