The hotel was very crowded, and there was a wait for check-in. However, while waiting, the front desk gave us temporary room cards so we could visit Panmen. The pool was the most crowded spot, with many coaches giving lessons both indoors and outdoors. It was swarming with people, and they splashed water everywhere without regard for others. It was only less crowded around noon and early in the morning. The breakfast was good and served until 10:30 AM. Although there was no announcement before closing, the local specialties were all delicious, and the fruit was very sweet. The only fresh juices available were carrot and cucumber. However, during our stay, there was renovation work on the floor above us, specifically floor drilling during nap time, with no prior communication. The assumption that guests wouldn't be in their rooms was very disappointing. We called the front desk to complain about the noise, and they kept saying they would look into it, but nothing was done. Eventually, my family had to go upstairs themselves to ask the workers to stop. Afterwards, the duty manager came to apologize and asked if the renovation could continue for just another hour... I almost laughed out loud. We paid to stay here, not to listen to construction noise. They finally offered a welcome fruit basket as an apology, which was also quite amusing, as other hotels provide welcome fruit upon check-in, but here you only get it if something goes wrong. Neither during check-in nor check-out were we asked if we had a car, nor were we informed that we needed to scan a QR code for free parking. It was also difficult to reach the front desk by phone, as it often rang for a long time without anyone answering.

My stay at the Qiyupai Air Courtyard Resort Hotel during my trip to Suzhou was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Shantang Street, and the subway is also very convenient. It's truly a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The high-altitude courtyard design is incredibly atmospheric, with a blend of Suzhou-style Zen and a dry landscape garden. Watching the sunset over the ancient city from the terrace in the evening, as the lights begin to glow, was incredibly soothing and therapeutic. The room came with its own private, constantly-heated hot spring bath, offering excellent privacy. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the evening breeze completely washed away all my travel fatigue. The attention to detail was exceptional – a giant projection screen and smart bathroom facilities were all available, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. Breakfast was a semi-buffet featuring authentic Suzhou specialties, with freshly made pastries that tasted great. The serving hours were also very accommodating. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, and they even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area upon check-in. Overall, the hotel is clean and elegant, perfect for both couples on a romantic getaway or friends traveling together. Staying here in Suzhou is a sure bet, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

The location is an absolute advantage. The hotel is only about 20 meters from Sanyang Plaza, which is an interchange station for Metro Lines 1 and 2. It's also just two stops to Wuxi Railway Station. The hotel is on a high floor, and the night view is stunning. The hotel service is also excellent; the staff are very service-oriented, patient, and meticulous. Currently, the higher floors are undergoing renovations, but this generally doesn't affect guests staying at the hotel.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is superb. The subway station is only 200 meters away, making it convenient to get to anywhere in Nanjing. The hotel service is top-notch, meeting five-star standards, although the facilities are a bit dated and lack smart features, like the inability to cast to the TV. However, this doesn't diminish the value of the InterContinental brand. The bathroom and amenities are thoughtfully provided. The hotel's view is unbeatable, offering a panoramic overlook of Nanjing city.

Room: Exceeded expectations. Firstly, the Suzhou garden-style exterior appealed to me, and secondly, the room was incredibly comfortable. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I want to stay longer. Environment: Located next to the Grand Canal Park, waking up to birdsong and enjoying the morning breeze was incredibly pleasant. The location is fairly central in Wuxi, making it convenient to get around. I initially thought it might be noisy, but it was very quiet. Cleanliness: The bathroom and bedding were very clean. I usually bring my own sheets when traveling, but I forgot this time. However, sleeping directly on the bed was very comfortable and not itchy at all. The room also had a subtle fragrance. Breakfast: I ordered breakfast to be delivered upstairs. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the Grand Canal and listening to the birdsong was truly relaxing. It completely eliminated the frustration of the previous day's walking around the scenic spots and the crowds. The service was also excellent; the auntie spoke Mandarin with a slight local accent, which was very friendly.

The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

Took my kids to Suzhou Tongli Lake Hotel for a weekend stay. Their logo is a hoopoe bird, and the experience exceeded our expectations! The room was new, spotless, and thoughtfully detailed, making our stay incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The family-friendly facilities were fantastic: outdoors, you can feed bunnies, and the kids' play area was clean and safe – my child didn't want to leave! The heated pool had crystal-clear water, perfect for both adults and kids to enjoy. The buffet offered fresh, diverse, and delicious food with plenty of choices. On Sunday morning, we did a travel photoshoot in the Suzhou-style garden right next to the hotel. With its white walls, dark-tiled roofs, winding corridors, and ornate windows, every step offered a picturesque scene. It's a wonderful family-friendly hotel with a serene environment and attentive service!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Suzhou Shantang Street Jiangnan Palace Hotel! The property is a lovely blend of historical elegance and serene beauty, thoughtfully converted from a classic historical courtyard featuring a tranquil, beautifully landscaped garden. Tucked away discreetly behind a famous Jiangnan weaving museum, it feels like a peaceful hidden oasis right in the strategic heart of the ancient town—just steps away from the iconic canals, historic bridges, and the vibrant lantern-lit night market. It is also exceptionally convenient, located just one stop from Suzhou Train Station via Metro Line 2. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the warm and genuine service from the staff. Every single team member was remarkably polite, friendly, and dedicated to delivering excellent service throughout our stay. My only regret is forgetting to ask for their names before checking out so I could thank them personally! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Suzhou who wants to experience authentic local heritage alongside world-class hospitality—it is easily one of the best options in the area.

The experience at the Jinling Hotel, an old-school five-star hotel in Nanjing, was absolutely fantastic! It's located in the core area of Xinjiekou, with the subway and Deji Plaza right outside, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the night view from the high-floor floor-to-ceiling windows was absolutely stunning. The service was impeccable, making for a truly satisfying stay. While staying, we also made sure to try the hotel's Black Pearl Restaurant, Meiyuan, and the Huaiyang Jinling cuisine lived up to its reputation. The traditional salted duck was tender, savory, and flavorful, the crab roe lion's head was fresh and not greasy, and the knife work on the Wensi Tofu was astonishing. The dishes were all exquisitely prepared. The restaurant's ambiance was elegant and classic, and the service was attentive and meticulous. We stayed comfortably and ate delightfully. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Nanjing; I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!
