The hotel has a traditional aesthetic, but Is very confusing to get around due to poor sign posting. The room was not vacuumed well - there were dark hairs on the floor (I am blonde). The toiletries are if low quality. Breakfast was decent (no fish or meat except sausages) but the same every day. Room service is disabled from 2-5pm. My king room with balcony, was big, quiet, located in the garden wing away from the elevators and noise. However it had a view of the tennis court open until 10pm. Check-in was pretty fast and staff was polite and friendly. I didn’t use the gym or pool - they were either closed early in the morning (no card system) or full of people. The gym smells of mold, the outdoor pool is only open June-September, whereas the indoor pool is small. I also never visited the Panmen even though I was told entrance was free because it opens at 8:30am. No espresso machine in the room, tiny teaspoons for large cups. Overall barely 4-stars. I stayed just 3 nights. Won’t be back. Should have stayed on Jinji lake in a proper 5-star hotel.

This was a great stay. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept soundly at night. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and the staff were friendly. The location is also convenient for getting around, and it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

Traveling to Shantang Street with my good friends and our kids, I was getting a headache trying to find a hotel. Luckily, we ended up staying at this hotel right inside the scenic area. The garden-style landscaping is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. We could easily pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired. 😄 Our room had one king bed and one twin bed, and the best part is that they were movable, so we could push them together – fulfilling the kids' wish to sleep together! ❤️ The hotel's bathtub was huge; even though we only stayed one night, the kids took two baths and had a blast. The air conditioning was also incredibly powerful, which was an absolute lifesaver in this scorching summer heat!!! The hotel even provided afternoon tea, which, paired with the lotus flowers we bought in the scenic area, made for some fantastic photos – we took dozens, haha. It's especially great for a getaway with your girlfriends because the room has a two-sided mirror, so you can do your makeup together. 😄 The breakfast was delicious and served as a set meal with exquisite presentation. Kids' breakfasts are even complimentary! On top of that, you can feed the fish at the hotel, which the kids absolutely loved, hahaha. Next time we visit Suzhou, we will definitely stay at Zhu again. This summer trip was too hot and rushed; only staying one night was a bit of a shame. P.S. The staff were super nice. Before check-in, they thoughtfully informed us about various convenient transportation options and the hotel's Wi-Fi. All our small requests were met quickly and efficiently. The staff even helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and when we asked the front desk for bottled water, they generously gave us several bottles at once. Truly amazing!

Room facilities: A very handsome guy at the front desk helped us upgrade to a mountain-view room, 4917. Many thanks to him; the night view was absolutely stunning, full of National Day festive atmosphere. During the National Day holiday, there were various activities every day. We got to try making a sugar-blown horse 🐎 from malt sugar, which was quite fun. Breakfast: The selection was very rich. The soup dumplings were juicy and the meat was delicious; I ate several! The bread was exquisitely made, and every piece looked tempting! Room view: It felt like having a panoramic view of all the mountains. Ordering takeout required going downstairs to the first floor to pick it up, but getting bubble tea 🥤 was very convenient due to the downtown location. WiFi: They had a Dyson hairdryer and a JBL Bluetooth speaker. My two-night stay was excellent. The room cleaning auntie was also very polite and enthusiastic. I redeemed some vouchers from Trip.com, and if I come to Wuxi again, I will definitely stay here.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

This is the tallest building in Nanjing and also the highest hotel. The rooms have impressively high ceilings, which adds to their grand appearance. The location is absolutely central, making it incredibly convenient to get around. There are plenty of dining options nearby; for example, the Dazhongting is close by, and a little further is Liuchangxing, where my son devoured the chicken broth wontons without a peep. Just under 1.5 kilometers away are the famous Xuanwu Gate of the city wall and the Xuanwu Lake scenic area. Back in the room, we had a full lake view of Xuanwu Lake, which was absolutely stunning. Our butler, Alice, thoughtfully upgraded our room when she saw I had two children, though unfortunately, the weather was foggy, making the photos of the view a bit dim. The room had an old-money style; despite its age, it was very clean and odorless, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The restaurant is high up and very impressive, and the breakfast spread was extensive, covering almost every dish. The taste was excellent for a five-star hotel, and their tea eggs were particularly delicious. The swimming pool was well-equipped, and my son swam every day, then returned to the room for a relaxing bath in the tub. Our butler, Alice, was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, proactively asking daily if we needed anything. She was very professional and dedicated. I'll definitely be looking for her on my next visit.

Room: Exceeded expectations. Firstly, the Suzhou garden-style exterior appealed to me, and secondly, the room was incredibly comfortable. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I want to stay longer. Environment: Located next to the Grand Canal Park, waking up to birdsong and enjoying the morning breeze was incredibly pleasant. The location is fairly central in Wuxi, making it convenient to get around. I initially thought it might be noisy, but it was very quiet. Cleanliness: The bathroom and bedding were very clean. I usually bring my own sheets when traveling, but I forgot this time. However, sleeping directly on the bed was very comfortable and not itchy at all. The room also had a subtle fragrance. Breakfast: I ordered breakfast to be delivered upstairs. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the Grand Canal and listening to the birdsong was truly relaxing. It completely eliminated the frustration of the previous day's walking around the scenic spots and the crowds. The service was also excellent; the auntie spoke Mandarin with a slight local accent, which was very friendly.

This is my fourth time staying at the Taicang Karuizawa Onsen Hotel, and I'm still extremely satisfied. This time, I came for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday with my mom, husband, and son. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are serene, well-equipped, and have a quality feel. The hygiene has always been excellent, making for a very reassuring stay. My favorite part is still the hot springs – warm, comfortable, and very authentic. For me, the cleanliness of the hot spring area is particularly important, and Karuizawa consistently meets expectations in this regard. Each soak leaves me feeling relaxed both physically and mentally, making it perfect for a short holiday getaway. The hotel's surroundings are also ideal for a vacation. It's about a 15-minute drive to Shaxi Ancient Town, which has lots of delicious food. Nearby is JinCang Lake Park, with its excellent ecological environment, perfect for a family stroll and relaxation. We drove from Shanghai, which took about an hour and a half, so the transportation is very convenient. That's why for the past two years, whenever a holiday comes around, we think of staying here for a few days. During this stay, the hotel service also felt very warm. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, and the restaurant service was especially attentive, proactively caring for and asking about our needs. When they learned my mom had a sensitive stomach, they even specially added plain congee, which was truly thoughtful. Because we've stayed multiple times over the past two years, the hotel even offered a complimentary private hot spring this time, making us feel their full sincerity and a truly welcoming atmosphere. In short, the Karuizawa Onsen Hotel has become our family's go-to for short holiday getaways. Everything from the rooms, hot springs, hygiene, and service to the surrounding environment leaves us very satisfied. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance in the second half of the year.

Facilities: I booked a room in the Asia-Pacific Tower. The interior design was simple and elegant. The water pressure and temperature for showering were both very comfortable. Hygiene: It was clean, and there were no stains on the sofa, which looked very comfortable. The only thing was that the bedding felt a bit damp. After I reported it to the hotel, they brought an extra duvet, which was noticeably drier to the touch. I'm not sure if it was related to the weather. Environment: The location is excellent, right next to the subway station, surrounded by shopping malls. It's very convenient to go anywhere and find food. The night view is also amazing! Service: As an old-established hotel, the service quality is very high. From check-in to check-out, everything was very thoughtful. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nanjing.

The hotel proactively upgraded us to a room with a better view, provided advance notice about self-driving considerations, and offered recommendations for local attractions. They even asked if we were traveling with elderly family members or children. The WeChat team, surprisingly, has 16 members from various departments, ensuring quick responses. All staff members we encountered at the hotel were friendly and enthusiastic, greeting us proactively, which made us feel right at home. When other guests accidentally rang our doorbell at night, the staff promptly checked the surveillance footage and explained the situation. While it wasn't the hotel's fault, their attitude towards resolving the issue was very proactive and sincere. The room design had many thoughtful details. The balcony had a privacy screen, allowing us to enjoy the view while soaking in the private hot spring and keeping insects out. The sink area was well-designed to prevent splashing, and the toilet had a separate small sink, which was convenient (a minor suggestion: the faucet in the toilet was a bit too far from the basin, making it easy to hit the basin while washing hands). The overall hotel design was also impressive. The lobby resembled the inside of an eggshell, and the staircase leading to the rooftop garden was artistic. You could slowly appreciate various details in the hallways and the exterior, discovering something new each time. Breakfast was particularly praiseworthy, with a wide variety of options. The freshly cooked noodles were delicious, and the fruit selection was extensive and very fresh. The Mingyue restaurant offered a great view, and the sunset in the evening was beautiful. Turning left from the hotel and going straight up the road, you can reach Ichishiki Garden for a cup of coffee at sunset. The hotel provided free tickets to Yangshan Beicai and Nature Land. At Yangshan Beicai, after climbing the mountain to see the tablet head and body, you can take an elevator down (free for hotel guests). Following the small path, you can visit the Pioneer Bookstore and the Coca-Cola Brand Hall. If you have children, you can also stop by BaoBao Land, and Nature Land is also great for kids. The hotel shuttle can take you to the underground palace, and then you can take a scenic shuttle to other attractions. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and couldn't experience the cable car and mini-train. The hotel's location is quite secluded, making it suitable for self-drivers. Finally, a few suggestions regarding service details. The floor strip at the entrance was loose. We reported it for repair, and they said it was fixed, but it clearly wasn't completely (see the last picture). The front desk's information was not comprehensive enough. When they gave us the tickets for Yangshan Beicai Park, they didn't mention that the elevator inside the park was free. We almost bought tickets if a park attendant hadn't informed us. Also, they said Suyun Thirteen Gardens closed at 4:30 PM, but it's actually open at night. When checking out before 12 PM, there was only one staff member at the front desk, and they were assisting another guest with check-in. Another staff member was standing nearby but didn't offer to help. When it was my turn and I mentioned checking out, he said he would handle it and led me to another counter. Although the wait wasn't long, it was clear that someone could have assisted me earlier, but they didn't proactively ask. And finally, they asked me to complete the review before 2 PM that day... I was still driving back to Shanghai at that time, and it was the first time I encountered a time limit for a review! While it wasn't a pleasant experience, the overall service was indeed good, so I won't deduct any stars.
