The Qianhe Licheng Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the main Jiu huan highway, and only about 2 kilometers from the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area entrance. It's just a five-minute taxi ride to the park, and the hotel even offers a complimentary shuttle service. Within a few hundred meters of the hotel, you'll find the Bianbian Street commercial area, packed with supermarkets, ******* snacks, and specialty stores, making evening strolls and dining incredibly convenient.
The breakfast buffet is incredibly rich and varied, with a full spread of Chinese and Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, soups, grains, fruits, and local ******* snacks. Everything is fresh and plentiful. For dinner, their signature yak hot pot features tender meat and a rich broth, with generous portions that offer amazing value for money. It's a one-stop shop for a worry-free stay, dining, and travel experience.

A truly memorable stay in Chengdu.
What I appreciated most about Shangri-La Chengdu was not only the comfort of the hotel itself, but the atmosphere and people behind it. The property feels elegant yet calm — a wonderful contrast to the energy of the city. The riverside surroundings were especially suitable for a light jog along the river, while the peaceful ambiance and warm Asian hospitality made the stay feel genuinely relaxing.
The Horizon Club experience was especially outstanding and absolutely worth it. The team’s attentiveness was exceptional in a very natural and thoughtful way. They remembered small details, preferences, and routines with such grace that the stay felt personal rather than transactional.
Luxury can be found in many hotels, but sincere hospitality is much rarer. The Horizon Club team especially “Miss Juliana Liu” created exactly that feeling — warm, attentive, professional, yet never intrusive.
Breakfast, lounge service, evening cocktails, and the overall quiet atmosphere made it easy to slow down and truly enjoy Chengdu.
This hotel gave me the feeling of experiencing both comfort and the softer, more elegant side of the city. I would gladly return again.

The location is great, right across from the ancient town. There's Zhong Yazi (a famous duck restaurant) nearby, and it's easy to find food in the old town. It's about a 1km walk to Nanqiao Bridge. You can take a taxi to the Dujiangyan entrance first and then slowly walk back.

This stay was fantastic! I have to give a special shout-out to our dedicated butler. They kindly offered two complimentary breakfasts, which was perfect for my travel companion and me. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay, responding quickly to any requests. Everything was handled efficiently and with a warm touch. The room environment was also very comfortable. I'll definitely be requesting the same butler on my next visit. Highly recommend!

I came to Deyang with my parents and this was our first time staying at this hotel. The room was so big and I loved it!!! The breakfast was plentiful; my mom especially loved the braised pork intestines with toppings in the noodles—they were fresh, delicious, and very clean. Parking was convenient. There are lots of delicious restaurants within a 10-minute walk. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Deyang, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

In May, I booked my stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu via Ctrip. The first four nights were paid in full and non-cancellable, while the last night was set for 'pay at hotel' due to an uncertain itinerary.
Upon check-in, the front desk associate requested payment for both the last night's room fee and the deposit upfront. The guest repeatedly tried to explain and requested to pay them separately, but the associate couldn't decide and called over a female manager. After understanding the situation, the manager agreed not to collect the last night's room fee immediately, but then demanded a higher deposit. During the conversation, she was adamant about the amount, leading to a 15-minute standoff where voices grew louder. This attracted the Director of Rooms. After the guest re-explained their request, the Director not only further increased the deposit amount but also emphasized that it was 'company policy' and 'unalterable'.
The guest had previously stayed at several other Ritz-Carlton properties and always had excellent experiences, which is why they chose The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu. They were completely unprepared for such a scene. The Director insisted it was 'The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu's own policy'. Although he verbally offered 'Is there anything else I can help you with?', he completely disregarded the guest's requests, displaying an arrogant and rude attitude, behaving as if the guest either had to pay the demanded deposit or simply not stay at the Ritz. Of course, he knew the guest had already paid for four non-cancellable nights! This standoff continued for another ten minutes. Exhausted from traveling for days and in urgent need of rest, the guest eventually gave up their demands and paid the 'company-mandated' deposit to check in.
After entering the room, the guest noticed the alcoholic beverages provided (as shown in the picture), with prices ranging from hundreds for liquor to tens for soft drinks. It made them wonder if most guests actually have a demand for hundreds of yuan in alcohol consumption, and if the hotel's deposit policy was somehow related to these beverage costs.
This experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu significantly diminished the guest's perception of the Ritz-Carlton brand. While the hotel's hardware was commendable and the room cleaning service satisfactory, the rude and uncivil behavior of the front desk staff was truly off-putting.
The hotel's location is super convenient! Right in the center of Ma'erkang! The staff member at check-in, Xiao Liu, was very patient in giving us directions. The parking lot is large and free! The room was very clean, the bedding was spotless, and the towels and bath towels were clearly disinfected – very thoughtful! The room felt clean and refreshing from the moment we entered; even the corners were meticulously cleaned, without a speck of dust! The food street is just a two-minute walk away, and the breakfast was excellent, featuring butter tea and tsampa – quite unique!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise at every turn! Every corner is filled with vibrant potted greenery – all real plants, not artificial. The air is so fresh and invigorating, making you feel instantly relaxed the moment you step in. The lobby boasts a luxurious and sophisticated design, setting a high-class tone right away. The guest rooms all come with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and there's even a transparent two-person bathtub by the window, so you can soak while enjoying the stunning views. It's truly a blend of amazing ambiance and comfort. The high-altitude terrace offers breathtaking views, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. Lying there at night to stargaze is incredibly romantic and therapeutic. The hotel also serves a healthy breakfast – light, delicious, and well-balanced, leaving you feeling satisfied and at ease. The overall experience was superb; it's ideal for both a relaxing getaway and for taking great photos. Highly recommend!

Excellent
GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment design is excellent, with lush gardens and water features surrounding the rooms. A morning stroll is incredibly refreshing, and the ecosystem is thriving. Soaking in the hot springs while listening to birdsong is truly relaxing.
Regarding the facilities, the rooms are clean and hygienic, with good quality bedding and towels. There's a wide selection of pillows, and the hot springs are radon-rich, leaving your skin feeling smooth – I heard it's great for your skin. There's also a fairly large play pool in the hot springs area that kept the kids entertained for ages, so much so that we didn't have time for any other activities. The breakfast quality is also very good.
As for the service, a butler contacted me even before my arrival to ask about any special requests. The hotel's service is very flexible; they try their best to accommodate guests' needs and enhance their experience, as long as it doesn't disrupt hotel operations. Since fewer people were using the hot springs due to the hot weather, they upgraded my room and extended my check-out time, allowing me to enjoy a very comfortable soak.
XXiaoluThe hotel rooms are individual houses, each with a balcony offering a beautiful view of the distant snow-capped mountains, especially stunning when foggy in the mornings. The hotel grounds themselves are also lovely, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The natural environment is great too; I even saw some cute little birds.
The hotel is located within the Jiuzhai Huamei Holy Land Resort area, with plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient for shopping. Within the hotel, you get around by electric buggy. If you're coming from the high-speed train station, take the Jiuzhaigou bus and get off at the General Supermarket stop; the hotel can send an electric buggy to pick you up. Overall, getting around is very smooth.
There's an in-house restaurant, a Western one, but I really didn't enjoy it – it was both expensive and not very tasty. However, you can go to the Chinese restaurant at the neighboring Hilton, and the hotel's electric buggy provides round-trip service, which is very convenient.
What I was most satisfied with were the room facilities and the service. The Conrad bedding is the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I tend to be a light sleeper in new places, but I slept quite well here. The service was also excellent, not overly enthusiastic but very efficient.

GGuest UserThis is my go-to hotel for every business trip. It's located right in the heart of the Financial City in the High-tech Zone, directly opposite the famous Twin Towers. It's just a short walk across the road to Yintai in99. The Line 1 Metro is also close by, and it's only a 20-minute taxi ride to Shuangliu Airport, making it super convenient to get anywhere.
The room I stayed in this time was about 30 square meters, and the layout was so well-designed that it felt very spacious. It had floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Twin Towers, offering fantastic natural light and views – truly comfortable. The bedding was, as always, up to Marriott standards, perfectly soft and firm. I also have to rave about the hotel's breakfast! The spicy beef guokui was absolutely delicious.
The swimming pool and gym are on B1. Check-in at the front desk was very quick. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe Crowne Plaza Chengdu Wenjiang Hot Spring is such a great deal! The location is convenient, whether you're taking the subway or driving. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in incredibly smooth.
The natural hot springs are definitely the highlight, with over 40 unique pools to choose from. After a soak, you feel completely refreshed. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with soft bedding and excellent soundproofing. You can even enjoy river views in the morning.
The buffet breakfast offers a full range of Western and Chinese options, and the freshly prepared noodles are especially delicious.
The staff were attentive throughout our stay. This hotel is perfect for both couples on a getaway and families traveling together. Highly recommended!
JjerometafaniThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to Tianfu Square, making transportation very convenient. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful, and the room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. You need a key card to access the upper floors, which is a nice security feature. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.
SsusannahsunExtremely satisfied with my stay! The breakfast was really generous and started at 7 AM. My room was disinfected and cleaned daily. When taking a taxi, it's more accurate to set the destination to 'Changsheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacy'. Food deliveries are brought to your room by a robot. Also, traffic in Chengdu is terrible, so allow plenty of time if you're taking a taxi; the subway might be a better option if you're in a hurry. For the Panda Base, make sure to get there right when it opens at 7:30 AM. If you're not specifically looking for Hua Hua, buy an electric shuttle ticket and head straight to the Star Delivery Room first. There are also lots of pandas at Dujiangyan Panda Valley, and it's much less walking – the main Panda Base is huge and tiring, so if you don't want to walk a lot, go to Panda Valley instead. I highly recommend the Hemin Teahouse in People's Park for tea, snacks, and an ear-cleaning experience. After 8 PM, the hotel even offers late-night noodles and vermicelli, so if you're back late from your travels, you can just eat right at the hotel. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the service at Yazi Hotel.

AAilvxingdeyinzheThis hotel is located by the river, directly across from Jinjiang Hotel, and about 600 meters from Jinjiang Metro Station, making its location quite good. The lobby is rather simple, and the rooms are under 30 square meters. The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. The separate bathtub and shower with excellent water pressure were a huge plus. The bed was on the softer side, which I personally found comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. They even offer buckwheat pillows, which I appreciate. This particular room type offers a partial river view, but it's quite close to the adjacent office building, so privacy needs to be considered during the day. If you remove the chargeable snacks from the room, you don't need to pay a deposit, and they provide plenty of complimentary bottled water. For just over 300 at the moment, it's definitely excellent value for money.
