We arrived before check in time and they were happy to check us in early, the staff were super friendly! No English but they tried their best to communicate with us. The location is about a ten minute walk to the ancient town, 5 minute drive to the train station and about 5/10 minute drive to the nearest beach. Would definitely recommend for any travels.

I would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging. First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby. Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one. Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable. I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!
Jinjiang Metro Station Hotel (Shijiazhuang Jianhua City Plaza Beisong Subway Station)

The 2nd Hospital of Hebei Medical University
Really nice! The decor was classy. The rooms were very clean and everyone in the hotel was very friendly. The bed was much more comfortable than at many Chinese hotels I've stayed at. I also like that they replenish the breakfast buffet throughout the operating time so you aren't left with crumbs if you don't arrive immediately. They have someone on site who will make fresh breakfast noodles or wontons for you. The hotel isn't very close to any attractions, but it is just a few steps away from a subway station, so it's very easy to do things like go to the provincial museum. There are also good restaurants nearby. I went to the hotpot restaurant Happy Lamb, which near the intersection just to the west of the hotel. They were very friendly and helpful even though I wanted a table for one. If I would improve anything, I'd make clearer signage explaining how to get to the lobby. (It's on the fifth floor of the building.) That wasn't clearly explained in either Chinese or English, so both a local couple and I were worried we had gone to the wrong address. No English was spoken when I went there, and the women at the desk told me I was the first foreign customer they'd had in three years. Still, they were very friendly and helpful. Just be aware if you're foreign you may need to learn some simple phrases in Chinese to communicate with them or have a translation program you can use.

The transportation is very convenient. The front desk lady is very warm and helps us take the luggage to the room. The room is spacious and bright, and the sanitation is very clean. You can also go to the public area to soak in the hot springs. The hotel also has a single-family villa. There are pools indoors and outdoors. You can try it next time, recommended!

Are they affordable, or just plain cheap skates? ”The least you expect, the more satisfied you will be”. Where do I start... A four letter word starting with S and ending with T, comes to mind, when thinking about rating this hotel, in terms of service received. Front of house (seven or more staff), including the duty manager, were ”hanging around” the back of the counter, upon our arrival. A toothbrush, and a comb, that's it, that's what you can expect to find during your stay. Too much effort for them to even supply something as basic, as a shower cap. It's mid March, and can you guess, what music is playing in the background? Christmas music, clearly, there is no supervision and oversight from regional management, or just a lack of common sense. The rooms are dark, and have a dodging feel to them. In the dining area, where breakfast is served, you will find that the descriptions of the dishes on display, are solely in Chinese. No English whatsoever, yet, ”they” want to ”run” an Internationl / English brand. This branch, is in my opinion not worthy to represent an international brand. Perhaps, retraining or change of management, would be an option. Until then, this establishment will never see us again, nor will we recommend them.

Facilities: The room is big enough, a luxurious room from 15 years ago, with old and outdated facilities. Service: The service is OK Hygiene: Average, the noodles are OK What needs to be complained is still the breakfast. Although it is included, there is nothing left when I went there at 8 o'clock. There are only a few pickles and two cold dishes, which are also the bottom, and there is no staple food. After everyone's strong reaction, some quick-frozen bean buns came up, which were all cold and not heated through, and they had to be snatched. And there were no basic eggs, at least one per person, and the waiter said we didn't have eggs. The restaurant waiter said that there were too many people and the food couldn't be cooked, but how many people stayed every day and the front desk didn't communicate, don't they know how many people eat? Free bathing is not bad!

Chengde Mountain Resort/Eight Outer Temples Area
The location is very good. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the Summer Resort. Taking a taxi to Putuo Zongcheng Temple and Puning Temple costs about ten yuan. Moreover, the hotel has its own parking space, which is too difficult to get. If there is a flaw in terms of location, it is that there is a railway to the east of the hotel, which is at the back of the hotel. The hotel front desk informed this when checking in, so be mentally prepared. There are about two trains every night, and I don't know why the whistle blows every time. The hotel's facilities are okay. There is a sauna on the ground floor and a self-service laundry room on the second floor, which is very convenient in summer. I stayed in a family room, and it would be perfect if there was a small refrigerator. The sanitation is good, the hotel is very new, the equipment is relatively new, and the Internet is very fast. The service is very good, warm and comprehensive. The breakfast was a bit average and felt a bit plain. If there is no complimentary breakfast coupon, it is recommended to eat around. There are many places to eat. Overall, it's good. I would consider it again in the future.

New Year's Day · Zunhua City From Qingdong Mausoleum, then drive east to Zunhua City, I chose a chain hotel to stay, the environment and health are good, walk more than 1,000 meters to the Aegean Sea (urban complex), and the whole foreign name ^_^ Although Zunhua is a county-level city under Tangshan's escrow, the bustling degree of the city is far beyond Tianjin Zhangzhou (prefectural and municipal level). I checked the GDP of the two brothers in 2022 (the number of 2023 has not come out), and Zunhua is twice as high as Zhangzhou... At night, the cultural south road was full of people, and the street was full of vendors selling all kinds of snacks. The driving was not in a hurry. I waited for the pedestrian to let out the passage and then opened it forward. Mother said: ”we have no people there at the Spring Festival, or the small city is lively. Hat - the police old man Le parked on the side of the road to protect a side of the peace, suddenly, a car with the city management sign passed, the roof of the big horn looped: ”... Letters and visits more than 3 times will...”

The hotel is a 2-floor section of a much bigger building structure. The room I stayed was clean with light decors and vaulted ceiling making me feel cozy and relaxed. The king-size bed was firm and conformable for my back. The hotel rooms and facilities are not extravagant but practical, making me feel at home. Although the location is not city-center, there is a metro station across the street. The breakfast serves both cold and hot dishes, much more selection than the ones you find in a typical Marriot Residence/Springhill suite. The hotel is tea-house themed, perfect for quiet conversations. The service was great and they tried their best to accommodate my needs, including late check-out. Love to stay there again next time I visit the city.

The environment and facilities are very new. There is no peculiar smell in the room. It's just that the food smell in the corridor is a bit strong. Overall, it is worth recommending.
