I originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.

The service was excellent, and the room was very soundproof, so I slept incredibly well. I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water and the free laundry facilities downstairs, which are perfect for a hotel stay. They also have a free coffee machine. There are many attractions and shopping malls nearby, making it a great area to explore. The light show at Xinghai Square was beautiful and very close to the hotel. Both the customer service staff and the front desk were fantastic. I really love this place and highly recommend it! The service was superb, it was very comfortable, conveniently located, and spacious. I loved it!

My stay at the Novotel Living Dalian Zhongshan Square with my little one was a fantastic surprise! The location is unbeatable; it's right next to Zhongshan Square with subway access right outside, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The room was set up like an apartment, offering plenty of space and a full kitchen, which was a huge plus for heating up baby food. What really stood out was how thoughtful the hotel was towards kids. During check-in, they proactively offered two sets of building blocks, which my child absolutely loved and kept them happily occupied, significantly reducing any fussing. The entire room was spotless, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, and the soundproofing was excellent – my child's nap went undisturbed. The gym and self-service laundry room were incredibly practical, and the 24-hour front desk staff were gentle and patient, responding to any issues super fast. Combining hotel service with the comfort of home, it's definitely my top choice for family travel. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Dalian!

My stay at the Lavande Hotel Dalian was fantastic! The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch, making shower time incredibly relaxing. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very responsive. Check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and everything was nutritious and delicious. Overall, it offered great value for money, with attention to detail and a refined, quiet environment. It's perfect for both business and leisure travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Dalian!

This was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market? The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member? My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

I boarded a taxi from the railway station, the driver not really know where's this hotel. Upon reaching the hotel is rather late and when I stepped into the hotel around 11pm plus, there's no one at the counter. My stay was at the 4 floor whereby now is under renovation, surprisingly there's no notice from the hotel to inform that. Overall I happy satisfied with my one night stay. The room wall both lights was not secured By the way, I am happy with the breakfast and the service staff at the breakfast area. Still have room to improve, if you ask me would I recommend to friends, my answer is ”YES”

The staff are very friendly. Of course, you can register your stay, and it's a 3-5-minute walk from Exit D of Xi'an Road. I asked for medicine for my stomachache and they kindly told me where the pharmacy was. I asked for more water and towels, and they obliged. I'm so grateful to the security guard who even asked if I was Korean! There's a waste disposal facility next door, so please only book if you can tolerate this.

If there were unclear places, I would explain it in detail, which made people feel particularly at ease. The room was cleaned, the layout was reasonable, the space was sufficient, the bedding was soft and breathable, and I could relieve my fatigue when I lay down. The design of the bathroom dry and wet partition is very practical, hot water is always available, and the washing experience is very good. The hotel is quiet as a whole, soundproofing is in place, there is no need to worry about rest and being disturbed, Wi-Fi speed is stable, and daily use is completely enough. The cleaning staff is polite, the daily cleaning is in place in time, and the details are full of care. The overall environment is clean and refreshing, the price is online, the service is sincere and not routine, and it is safe and comfortable to live. Next time you come here, you must give priority to this one.
