Guest UserStayed for one night. Beds were comfortable. Staff are friendly. Breakfast cost 1,500yen with decent spread. No complimentary car park. We parked opposite the hotel and paid at a discounted price of 900yen. Morioka station is about 20mins walk.

Guest UserThis Toyoko Inn is a bit far from JR Morioka Station, requiring a walk through an underpass, so it's not the most convenient. Unlike other Toyoko Inns, there are no welcome drinks or ramen offered in the evenings. Breakfast is also very standard, and the rooms are quite small. Overall, it's an average experience.

This hotel is really out-of-the-way; I'd recommend driving. It's mainly a place to go if you want to ski, as it's by a ski resort. I found the area to be very quiet. The hotel food was excellent, though you'll need some level of Japanese proficiency to effectively communicate with the staff. You can enjoy a bath in your room, or the hot springs downstairs. Overall quite nice, the rooms have a cottage feel.

The hotel is just a short walk across the JR station. To reach the hotel, you need to use the underpass. You can use the B1 lift to enter or exit the underpass so it’s very convenient for those with luggages. The room is small but functional. The only complaint is that the kettle provided cannot be dismantled from the plug. In order to fill water you need to carry the kettle together with the plug. Otherwise, everything is just perfect.

Guest UserLocation is very good, just two minutes walk from JR station. The shuttle bus stop to ski area is just one minute walk. Next to hotel is a big parking lot. Room is clean, but no hook for hanging stuff in the bathroom. No expectation in public bath, better than nothing. Kitakima is a very sleepy town, few selection of restaurants in town, no restaurant near the hotel, but one inside the hotel. Steak is great there. Wrong room type had been allocated to me ( not the problem of the hotel), but finally being compensated by Trip.com.

YoshimasaIn the natural environment surrounded by mountains and forests, the clear stream behind the inn flows gurgling, healing the body and mind.
It is fun to enjoy each of the four hot springs that flow directly from the source, but we especially recommend the deepest hot spring in Japan.
This is a self-propelled natural rock bath ”Shirasaru no Yu”. This is a very rare hot spring. Due to its depth, you can stand up to enter, but it is evenly distributed throughout your body.
It is said that applying hot water pressure can effectively promote blood circulation. The hall also has a nostalgic atmosphere, as if traveling to the past.
The hospitality of the staff is also very attentive. If you have the opportunity to stay in Hanamaki, it is a hotel worth staying in.

PaulGXHotel is around 1km out from Morioka station. Road towards the hotel is really bumpy with a lot of uneven surfaces. If you have heavy luggage or not physically strong enough, I suggest taking a taxi.
the rooms are really spacious and value for its money. It’s very near supermarket, shopping district and right smack in the middle of 2 7-11.
Right around the corner is the morioka castle.
Overall, if you are a light traveller, highly recommend this hotel.

EnggieThe hotel is in the same area as the university hospital. It seems that the parking area can be shared. There are some restaurants near the hotel, but not many. We bought food from a convenience store to eat. There is a microwave to use. There is ice to eat. If you don't have chopsticks, you can ask the staff for some. The room is clean and tidy. There is a table suitable for eating. There is enough space to open a big suitcase. The bed is warm and comfortable. The TV can be turned left and right (but I don't know why it has to be turned).

The hotel nestled in the middle of Iwate and Akita Japan with an amazing sceneries of mountain. The accomodati on is super comfortable with an amazing view of trees and mountains covered in snow. The other highlight of this place is the culinary experience this place got to offer the course dinner and breakfast that uses locally sourced ingredients from both Akita and Iwate prefecture and the presentation of the cuisine that brings out the quality and the stories of the place. Overall an extraordinary experience and worth a trip of its own.
