3-Star Hotels in Iwate Prefecture, Japan

We were two people staying 3 nights. We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good. The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat. They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen). We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob. It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well. After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem. The people at the hotel were very nice and polite. Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

This is a very high-quality hot spring resort with many baths to choose from. I stayed here in January, and several of the outdoor baths were particularly charming. Soaking my feet in the warm, hot water while it snowed was a beautiful experience, with a stream and mountain views. The rooms were also very spacious and clean. It's a highly recommended place.

Hotel Jin Morioka is just next to the train station. Very convenient location as a center point to travel in the region. Rooms are clean and nice with Mountain View. Breakfast for only 1000 Yen is a very good offer. Definitely recommend this hotel 👍

In front of Morioka station and you can just 5 mins walk by foot, Surrounding by convenient store and Izakaya, room was nice and clean. Check in 15.00 Check out 10.00 (Self check out is avaliable)

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were warm and polite. It was excellent value for money.

Highly recommended  Quicke check in, check out  Public hot springs bathhouse is a very big plus. This one is real hot springs water not just a big hot bathtub. Good location everything is in walking distance  Comfortable stay

A very cute cabin in the woods, about 3-5 minutes drive from the ski resort. If you drive, I recommend this hotel. It may not be very convenient if you don't have a car. The hotel has 2 private hot springs that can be reserved, so you can go there when no one is using them. It is a very special experience to soak in the hot springs in the snow.

Superb onsen hotel. We took sea view and it was superb with a small balcony. Room are very confortable and big. Onsen was excellent with an outside bath looking at the bay. We had dinner also and it was 5 star. Staff were super helpful (front desk, restaurant etc)

The room bow is wide and clean, cost-effective, there are many restaurants near the location, often stay, there is free parking, breakfast is very good for you, there are big grid cakes for children to make, it is worth recommending.

This hotel has an excellent location, very close to the JR station. You just cross the road and it's a short walk away. The hotel looks new, and the rooms, while not huge, have a minimalist feel. The amenities have been upgraded since my last stay at another branch (in a different city last year), making them very convenient to use. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommended!
