We were two people staying 3 nights.
We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good.
The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat.
They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen).
We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob.
It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well.
After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem.
The people at the hotel were very nice and polite.
Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel.
Hotel Jin Morioka is just next to the train station.
Very convenient location as a center point to travel in the region.
Rooms are clean and nice with Mountain View.
Breakfast for only 1000 Yen is a very good offer.
Definitely recommend this hotel 👍
Location is very good, just two minutes walk from JR station. The shuttle bus stop to ski area is just one minute walk. Next to hotel is a big parking lot. Room is clean, but no hook for hanging stuff in the bathroom. No expectation in public bath, better than nothing. Kitakima is a very sleepy town, few selection of restaurants in town, no restaurant near the hotel, but one inside the hotel. Steak is great there. Wrong room type had been allocated to me ( not the problem of the hotel), but finally being compensated by Trip.com.
The room was spacious and in a good location. There were many optional amenities available (shampoo, pillows, etc.). The hotel offers a discount on public parking (800 yen/night). I would definitely stay at the same hotel again if I came back.
I felt that the furniture arrangement in the room was spacious. The colors were bright and relaxing.
The bathroom and toilet were combined, but the sink and bathtub were spacious, so I was happy that I didn't feel cramped at all.
The amenities were a system where you had to pick up what you needed from the space in front of the front desk.
There was a microwave and vending machines on the 8th floor, but there was no ice machine, so you had to ask the front desk for it, and there were time restrictions.
Since I was staying without meals, I can't say that the food was good, but I was very satisfied with the room for the price I paid.
However, the road in front of the hotel was very narrow and not one-way, so it could be inconvenient depending on the timing. And if I had parked in the affiliated parking lot, I think it would have been a little inconvenient to load and unload luggage.
It was nice and clean. We stayed with our family, and they made sure that we all had rooms close to each other.
The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and we enjoyed it from the morning. I think it was a breakfast that gave us energy for the day.
The view of Mt. Iwate and Lake Goshoko from the lobby is spectacular. If you're staying overnight, definitely stay on the lake side on a high floor. My family loved the food, especially the steak and sweets, as well as the hot spring bath. Since we visited during New Year's, there was a shrine set up in one of the rooms, so my mother, who has trouble walking, was able to enjoy her first shrine visit of the year and get her fortune. I felt it was a comfortable hotel with unassuming hospitality.
i've used it several times
It's a hotel worth repeating
Please consider it when you come to Kitakami.
The most attractive thing is the rooftop bath.
There's an open-air bath, a sauna, a bath, and a massage chair.
I used a twin room single this time, but it was convenient to use the bed for storage
Unlike business hotels, it is not a unit bus or unit toilet, and the point is high personally
The bus doesn't enter because it uses an open-air bath, but the toilet is normal size, I think there are many people who stick it except me
It is a drawback that it is not within walking distance of the station, but it will pick you up and drop you off
This Toyoko Inn is a bit far from JR Morioka Station, requiring a walk through an underpass, so it's not the most convenient. Unlike other Toyoko Inns, there are no welcome drinks or ramen offered in the evenings. Breakfast is also very standard, and the rooms are quite small. Overall, it's an average experience.
Hotel is around 1km out from Morioka station. Road towards the hotel is really bumpy with a lot of uneven surfaces. If you have heavy luggage or not physically strong enough, I suggest taking a taxi.
the rooms are really spacious and value for its money. It’s very near supermarket, shopping district and right smack in the middle of 2 7-11.
Right around the corner is the morioka castle.
Overall, if you are a light traveller, highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserI was looking for a hotel for my trip to Morioka when I found out this hotel was opening that day, so I booked it right away.
The lobby, guest rooms, and lounge were all beautiful, stylish, and wonderful.
The large public bath had a sauna, which was very relaxing.
The breakfast, which I had been looking forward to, was even more delicious than I expected, and I ate a lot. I definitely want to stay here again the next time I travel to Morioka.
GGuest UserA very cute cabin in the woods, about 3-5 minutes drive from the ski resort. If you drive, I recommend this hotel. It may not be very convenient if you don't have a car.
The hotel has 2 private hot springs that can be reserved, so you can go there when no one is using them. It is a very special experience to soak in the hot springs in the snow.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is just a short walk across the JR station. To reach the hotel, you need to use the underpass. You can use the B1 lift to enter or exit the underpass so it’s very convenient for those with luggages. The room is small but functional. The only complaint is that the kettle provided cannot be dismantled from the plug. In order to fill water you need to carry the kettle together with the plug. Otherwise, everything is just perfect.

VVictor18Good location and near to the airport. I would say it is a very practical hotel to stay over while waiting for flight.
It meet all the needs, have a bath house vending machine, washing machine etc... Breakfast was also pretty good.
Taxi to airport was less than 10 mintutes and about 1100Yen. Can't really hear any planes flying so can sleep peacefully as well.
Hotel Staff was also helpful in booking Taxi for me. Have a 7 eleven nearby.
YYoshimasaIn the natural environment surrounded by mountains and forests, the clear stream behind the inn flows gurgling, healing the body and mind.
It is fun to enjoy each of the four hot springs that flow directly from the source, but we especially recommend the deepest hot spring in Japan.
This is a self-propelled natural rock bath ”Shirasaru no Yu”. This is a very rare hot spring. Due to its depth, you can stand up to enter, but it is evenly distributed throughout your body.
It is said that applying hot water pressure can effectively promote blood circulation. The hall also has a nostalgic atmosphere, as if traveling to the past.
The hospitality of the staff is also very attentive. If you have the opportunity to stay in Hanamaki, it is a hotel worth staying in.

EEnggieThe hotel is in the same area as the university hospital. It seems that the parking area can be shared. There are some restaurants near the hotel, but not many. We bought food from a convenience store to eat. There is a microwave to use. There is ice to eat. If you don't have chopsticks, you can ask the staff for some. The room is clean and tidy. There is a table suitable for eating. There is enough space to open a big suitcase. The bed is warm and comfortable. The TV can be turned left and right (but I don't know why it has to be turned).
