The staff were very good, but the room was quite coming to miss, the walls were quite dirty and also quite disappointed. The stairs missed a piece of wood on the stairs. And there was no shower gel and few bath towels
Um atendimento muito simpático e disponível. Tudo bem limpo e bonito. Uma casa com história e arte. Pena ainda não terem suites mas há-de acontecer no futuro.
Obrigada, Lili e Hugo pelo vosso interessante espaço. Foi uma bela estadia.
A grand hotel in the old style. It was undergoing significant renovation while I stayed, so they're clearly making an effort to remain competitive. Staff was courteous and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant was tasty and filling at a good price. All in all an excellent value. My only complaint is the strong musty odor in my room. Fortunately the weather was good so I could open the windows wide, but the hotel really needs to eliminate the source of the smell.
I didn't know before visiting Luso that it's famous for the quality of its water. The photo show the spouts in the center of town where locals come to fill their containers.
It is just a short bus or taxi ride from Aveiro.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
There are restaurants, mini markets and coin laundry around, so you don't have to worry about your life.
The kindness of the owner's family warmed my heart.
It is a hotel that I want to stay again.
Thank you.

The cleaning ladies are very friendly. Carina, who is at the reception, is very friendly and very helpful, in contrast, I only have to point out the staff who were serving breakfast. I asked if I could have a table next to the window, since the tables that were prepared were all on the opposite side, they said yes, that I could take the dishes and take them to the other table. I did so, and sat down at a large table (I had only noticed these tables next to the window). When I went to get food, the two employees, who were always in the middle of the room, told me to use smaller tables. The room was quite empty, and from the number of tables prepared it was obvious that few customers were waiting, who would not use all the tables, as happened. The attitude of these two employees did not sit well with me. They could have taken the trouble to at least indicate the tables they wanted the customer to sit at (at the time I didn't notice the tables because they were on the side). They waited for the customer to change, and, in a law of least effort, they indicated that they had to change tables again. This difference in attitude from the reception to the restaurant makes all the difference in service.
Very clean and heated room with regulation. Very silent.

SSalopian125Hotel Jardim is centrally located and within walking distance of most things. The room I was in was very clean and had aircon etc. It was not far off from needing refurbished, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well.
I never used the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. The pastry shop mentioned on other reviews is exceptional and is great value for money. I went there for breakfast and was not disappointed.
Would I go back to Hotel Jardim..... Yes
Parking is in the bays at the front of the hotel and on one side of street on which the hotel sits on.
GGuest UserThe hotel does not meet expectations, the photographs advertised on trip have nothing to do with reality, they should fix the damage. We thought it had a jacuzzi on the roof that we never found. As for the location, it is very good, everything is close at hand to be able to walk, the cleaning girls are very nice and every morning they bring you clean towels and make your bed, they also help you with whatever you need.
Overall rating: Could be improved
GGuest UserStayed one night. The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. The only problem was the coffee machine didn’t work at the breakfast buffet.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location, not far from center of Aveiro, only 10-15 mins walk and parking is easy to find. The room is clean and the bed is good, the only problem I found was that there were not enough charging sockets, there is only 2 USB type A chargers next to the bed, and nowadays most chargers are USB C to USB C so I couldn't use those chargers and had to unplug the table lamp in order to charge.
The breakfast is good, a good variety of options.
GGuest UserThis is a good sized room, with room to work, comfortable accommodation, central, I use this if I'm working near by on the zona Industria, the shower powerful enough and very clean and bathroom area is very cleqn

GGuest UserIt was a hotel belonging to the Alboi hotel group and it was an old place. It's not the entrance of this hotel, but the entrance of the hotel next to it is used together, and there are check-in and check-out, so it's a little unfamiliar and inconvenient. I went down there on the first basement floor and moved to the next building, and I was able to go up to my room again on a really small Elbe for one person. The facilities seemed old, but I liked it because it was a little farther than the city. It is the entrance to Abeiru, but you can see the canal view and it takes only about 5 minutes to walk to the city.
Hygiene.. The water scale in the shower hose in the shower room was serious. And I changed the shower filter, but in 4 hours the filter color changed to brown, so I was surprised ...
