Phoenix is too hot, the hotel air conditioning is not good, the others are very good, outrageous is that there are no slippers and hot water bottles.

My husband and I had a great stay. Rooms are very clean. They check on you when you check in and get in your room to make sure you are satisfied with your room. The only down fall we didn't like is you have to pay for parking 😒. But other then that we had a great time anyways.

The hotel is very new, equipped with a swimming pool and a gym. It is in a relatively safe area on Highway 66. The parking lot was almost full at night. However, the room was not well soundproofed. The music from the party next door was super loud. We chatted in the corridor and opened and closed doors all night. After talking to the front desk, it got better, but the subwoofer was still blasting. The hotel is nice, the coffee is good, and the stay experience is average.

Location is great and the linens are clean. However it is very old with cracked, old flooring in the bathroom and worn old carpet in the room. I suppose it's clean-ish, but for the price I would expect they should invest in some updates that would facilitate better cleaning.

Check in was lovely and a super smooth process, the team that we interacted with were super lovely! They had some great recommendations on what we could do, so we really only came back to the hotel to rest. The room was 10/10. While our mobility during the stay was pretty good, both guests in this booking appreciated knowing that should our mobility ability change, we could still move around independently in the room we had booked. Very good location.., it’s close to the Footprint Center (NBA - Suns game).., around ten minutes walking. Spacious room.. (two queen beds), with good amenities. Elevators ok..! Good breakfast..! There’s a bar in the lobby.., cozy place to eat and drink. I’d stay again…!!

You can watch the beautiful sunset from the balcony of the room, and it is also very convenient to go to the nearby Japanese restaurant and Whole Foods!

Let me begin by making the readers aware that the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel is more of a motel than a hotel. Entrance to all the rooms including the elevator is via the outside. It's not like your typical hotel where you enter a lobby and proceed to your room or the elevators. When entering the GCPH to check in the lobby seemed very clean but dated. The staff was extremely friendly. When we first entered our assigned room, it smelled of smoke masked by air freshener. We proceeded back to the lobby to complain and asked for another room. The second room was acceptable, however, the room was small, dark and very dated. We had breakfast the next morning in their restaurant off of the lobby and the food and service was good. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the park entrance but lacks updated features and charm, then this would be an acceptable place to stay at. Cathy from Pennsylvania

The breakfast was good and the service was good. We also intentionally left a tip. The people in the hotel, both the manager and other staff, were very good. There was an episode when I checked in, but it was finally resolved. Thank you Joyce, their manager. The only one is that the hotel's sound insulation is not good, and the layout is a bit strange. It is not as good as the one I ordered in Canada.
