I had a good stay here. The apartment is spacious, clean, good internet, has airconditioning and hot water in the shower. The room is quiet, especially in the night, and that’s a bonus. It’s centrally located close to many restaurants to choose from and a supermarket. There are not many kitchen crockery though. The microwave and fridge is great to have but if you plan to actually cook something, it will be difficult to. However, it was difficult to find. I upload screenshot with location on a map (you see name) and actual location (it’s where my actual location). I hope it will help you to find.

Douche parfaite, bombonne d'eau potable à disposition, cuisine commune très pratique, climatisation parfaite. Contrairement à ce qui est décrit sur le site le ferry est éloigné suite à un changement d'adresse, il faut prendre un taxi (20 dollars Belize). Très bon restaurant.

Stay here and you won’t regret it. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. You can contact him anytime with WhatsApp for any assistance. The property is small and very cute. We even got a free room upgrade because someone wanted to stay longer. The only thing I would mention is the neighbours dog barks a lot at night while they’re out and in the morning sometimes. The neighbour also collects bottles to recycle so that was quite loud outside the window in the mornings. There was also a strange “bathroom” smell at night that filled the room, but didn’t come from our room. Couldn’t figure out why or where it came from. Overall still very pleased with our experience and all the pros outweighs the tiny cons. The property is lovely and in a great location with complementary bikes to use for the day.

Great location (between west end and west bay) the place is in the jungle and have private beach area The only issue was that there was no hot water, and it’s take awhile to fix it

Very Good

This was my first time staying at a hostel and I was truly impressed by this place. I opted for a private room that saved me hundreds than if I would to book a stay at a resort or higher end hotel. The room was spacious for me and clean. The amenities were great too. They provide free, washer and dryer. All you need to do is purchase or bring your own detergent. The rooftop is a must see and has beautiful views overlooking the ocean. The location was perfect and right near the beautiful waters of San Pedro. Most places are within walking distance and renting. A golf cart is truly not necessary. Both of staff and the guests were extremely nice. The hotel provided communication daily on breakfast, tours and events. The main mode of communication was WhatsApp group. Which is helpful for those that travel solo, and are looking to meet other travelers. I would 10/10 stay at Sandbar on my next visit to San Pedro!
