2-Star Hotels in Attica, Greece

Location is what i really like about this hostel. Near to great food. Near to train station. Very easy to get around. Lift to every floor - easy for luggage. I like the smell of the room when i enter, after housekeeping just completed. They put great air perfume and feels great. Room is very spacious, with locker for everyone. We also have curtain for privacy. Own light and charge point at the bed. Staff very welcoming, friendly. Breakfast: Cake + Coffee (7-9sm) What i didn't like but i can live with it: 1. Toilet v small. Not suitable for XL folks. 2. Some shower areas without light 3. No towel, no toiletries In short, I'll like to return to this place again if i come Athens alone.

Location is convenient from Omonia station. good walking distance to acropolis and main center. The front desk staff are friendly and nice. There’s a lift but small flight of stairs up, also with assisted stairclimber. Nice pantry area to gather and make friends, or cook if you want. I booked a private room and while it’s a very huge size, there’s not much in the room. No desk, no hairdryer. The lockers are stacked on top of each other. In theory it’s ok, but what about shorter people? Why would I need lockers for a private room? (I know it’s a hostel yes, but this is a private twin room.) it should have been like a small hanging wardrobe or if the lockers need to be there it should be side by side on the floor. I also didn’t like the toilet is just one massive room. No sections for showering. The water just gets to the toilet bowl side easily. There should at least have been an elevated shower pedestal so water is kept in that area. I understand that this is a hostel, but for private rooms, shouldn’t it feel more like a hotel or Airbnb? Which should have basic things like a hairdryer etc (they don’t). Not very thoughtful when it comes to housekeeping - my toilet roll ran out, and they didn’t replace it. I dropped my towel on the floor to be replaced, it was hung back on the rack. It’s a dirty towel! Overall very disappointing with the light touches of the hotel. I didn’t spend cheap money for this, should have looked around more for what I paid.

The Youth Hostel is in the alley of omonia in a messy neighborhood, there are graffiti everywhere, and some crowds gather. If you arrive at night, girls may feel afraid. The Youth Hostel itself is very good, send a free drink, there is a great terrace bar, you can see the Acropolis. There were lockers and bathroom toilets in the room, my roommate had two Germans and was very talkative, and we had some really interesting topics. In fact, the location is also very good, there is a restaurant on the street called casba, very recommended, cheap price, a glass of mixed juice is only 2 euros, better than the opposite.

Clean homy place with good airco and room can be fully darkened out so you can sleep well even until any time. There is a fridge, water kettle, coffee, sink and cooking plates. It's located in a local neighbourhood near the beach and just a 20mins drive from the airport. The full five stars is earned especially because the hospitality. This is a true family business and you also get the warm welcome and experience Greek hospitality. Knowing that taxi drivers in Athens sometimes try to scam, the father or son offer pick up and return to the airport for a reasonable fee without hassle, even you arrive after 1am. If I have to stay again near Athens airport or even a few days in Athens for business this would be again my place to stay.

Located in the parallel alley opposite the Athens Academy of Sciences, the facilities are relatively sunny, but the scenery outside the window is not bad. Walk about 15 minutes to ”Aqi early”, can eat Chinese breakfast for me who is abroad all year round can bring happiness.

The hotel owner is very enthusiastic and introduced us to the surrounding environment. It is very good. In the morning, there is a special bus to the pier for boating. It is very convenient for tourists who need to take a boat to Santorini in the morning.

Truly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay! Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.

The location is very close to the attractions. The room is spacious and fully equipped. The kitchen also has a coffee machine, toaster, microwave... Breakfast is delivered to the door every morning. It is very suitable for couples or families.
