Pros: rooms are renovated and clean, breakfast varied daily and taste good, AC was cold, and hotel quite near the taichung TRA, and steps away from gancheng station where a lot of buses pass by cons: soundproofing could be better, no bidet in toilet All in all, still a good hotel choice in taichung considering the cheap price

Overall, it's pretty standard. The room had a bit of a smell when I first walked in. The service was excellent; they proactively helped with luggage. I'd say the location is superb, especially for catching an early flight. Having the free shuttle bus is very convenient, but you need to book it in advance. The food at the lounge on the first floor was really bad; I wouldn't recommend going there.

When check in, the staff was busy, It was confused me to rush for check in, apperantly the room was on the other building, so I need to go out and enter the other building. Not sure about the security, looks like no security on the other building. For breakfast I have to go out to the front office building on the 2nd floor. They give coupon for breakfast from 7-10. The breakfast was okay, and same type of menu. The room quite big, the bathroom okay, with full amenities. It seems the the room wasn't clean properly, there some small plastic rubbish on the corner when I check in, I wouldn't bother. Light in front of bathroom wasn't good enougj, since the mirror there you need when you getting ready to go out. They provide water bottle and tea bag. Free store luggage service upon check in and check out. Location is near the train station, walkable to Miyahara and around train station was really nice at night.

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

This was my second stay at the Grand Hotel during my trip to Taipei. This hotel is conveniently located near both Ningxia Night Market and Shilin Night Market. Although Ningxia Night Market is considered small by Taipei locals, it's where I found the best street food in Taipei, and there's also the famous Douhua Zhuang for delicious shaved ice. Absolutely loved it!

I had a pleasant stay at Norway Forest Hotel in Taichung. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, which makes traveling around the city very convenient. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a playground for children, which is great for families, as well as laundry and drying facilities, very convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I would recommend it to travelers visiting Taichung.

The room facilities are outdated. The sofa was completely unusable due to a large sag in the middle. The towels looked dirty and old, and the slippers were paper-thin. I can't believe the hotel provides such low-quality items to guests – it's really bad! Luckily, the bed was decent and the shower had good water pressure. On another note, there was a constant machine-like humming noise in both the room and the hallway. This hotel is definitely not for light sleepers. The front desk staff weren't very friendly either, but the restaurant staff at breakfast were very kind.

The hotel's location right next to Jiaoxi Train Station is incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by train, as it's just a short walk from the station exit. The surrounding area offers excellent amenities, with plenty of local eateries, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, making it very easy to find food. The hotel boasts a full range of public facilities, including an open-air hot spring (nude bathing), a spa, a swimming pool, and a gym. Soaking in the hot springs is incredibly relaxing, and the overall leisure facilities are quite good. For those arriving by car, complimentary parking is available, though the parking area is a bit small, so you need to be a little careful when entering and exiting. The room size is average; while not particularly spacious, it comes with all the essential amenities. The TV offers Netflix and YouTube, which is a great convenience for relaxing in the room at night. However, there's room for improvement in terms of environmental cleanliness details; if these could be enhanced, the overall stay experience would be even better. Overall, the accommodation quality is mid-to-high range. The soundproofing is decent but still within an acceptable range. However, the room rate for a Sunday is a bit on the high side, so the value for money isn't exceptionally outstanding. But considering it's a popular domestic travel destination, this is understandable.

Location is near to Taoyuan airport. Good place to stay if you're catching early flights or arriving late at night. Hotel provide taxi booking services to airport which costs NTD200. Although there's no convenience store nearby, they do have a restaurant and vending machines at ground floor. Breakfast was good too. Room were clean with basic amenities provided. Definitely will come back cos it's like a good 'transit' hotel to me!

The room was very clean and well-equipped. It had local outlets, USB ports, and even a multi-purpose socket that accommodates European plugs, including UK three-pin types. There was also a lighted makeup mirror. This hotel operates on a passive cleaning system, meaning guests need to request cleaning or replenishment of consumables. Most larger hotels, however, proactively clean rooms and restock supplies unless a 'Do Not Disturb' sign is activated. Check-in is at 4 PM, which is a bit later than the 3 PM standard at most hotels and inns.
