The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.

Thanks for the free upgrade. Our junior suite room is smaller than other 5star hotels but its comfortable nonetheless. Location wise is great, MRT is just behind the hotel and convenience stores are everywhere. Not so much option for buffet breakfast though. Almost the same menu everyday too. Stayed here for 2 days and we need to buy our own water to drink as they only provide water station in 5th floor, you have to bring your own containers if need to bring back to your rooms.

Of course it is superb. It has hosted many foreign leaders and its elevator can accommodate 30 Marble nis used in the bathroom and it's large balcony offers a great view of the city. The location was carefully chosen on a hill but the hotel has complimentary shuttle be to the closest subway station. Their staff are extremely professional and helpful!

The location was excellent and plenty of food and malls nearby within walking distance. Hotel looks very new and modern so in this area, the hotel was excellent. However, a few issues cropped up. 1. I had arrival earlier in the morning (7am+) due to an early flight. I am a frequent traveller for the last 20 years and have never encounter a hotel that doesn't allow me to check-in 1st. I can understand I was early and thus would not be able to be given a room card so early. But I was told specifically by the concierge that I cannot go to the front desk and do the check-in procedure 1st. As in the morning, they only allowed for check out procedure. This really blew my mind. Why would a hotel expect everyone to only check in at 2.30pm if it could reduce the check in crowd? I was happy to understand that I could only get my room after 2.30pm. But not allowing me to do check in procedure 1st is just weird. 2. The room given to me was a smaller room than all other rooms on the floor of 19. First room on the right from the lifts. Not like the one I had booked with the pictures. There was no power socket anywhere near the bed. Neither left or right of the bed. First time ever! Charging my phone meant running my own power extension to outside the toilet door. Very unfriendly for business travelers as there was no proper desk with power socket. Power socket was also not universal, so do bring your converters. I come to Taiwan very often but was quite disappointed with the above. Other than the above, my stay was great.

It was a great experience. Front desk can speak English well and the service is good. The food is fresh and perfectly delicious. A little bit disappointed for a sauna staff. She guide us about the rules politely, but I don’t think she guide the local properly. Cause there’s some locals don’t even take a shower first before get into the hot pool. Even worse using smartphone in dress up room. So disgusting and so not comfortable. When I told the staff, she came in and just laughed with that locals. Maybe that locals are member club, idk. Cause they looked so close. One of the reasons I choose this hotel cause they have sauna. But I really really disappointed about that service. It was just one person staff responsibility but it makes a very bad experience for us. Hope they will provide this facility with some easily understandable sign/rules in the room. And treat non ********* and ********* customers with the same service.

I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time and I finally had the chance during my trip to Taiwan. The hotel is convenient located near the Taipei Main Station and bus station and the MRT station. Hence is extremely convenient to get around. The room I got was quite spacious and clean. I believe it has been refurbished as the interior looks new. It is equipped with a smart tv so I could stream videos on YouTube all day long. The only disappoin**ent was that I did not get the room with the view of the Taipei Main station. The hotel staff were very friendly too. Amenities wise, there is no shortage of f&b establishments located near the hotel and most of them are very good. This hotel is one of the more affordable 5 star hotels in this area. Hence it’s a no brainer to pick this hotel over the rest. Overall, I’ve had a pleasant stay here I will definitely return to this hotel for my future trips.

The hotel is situated in an incredibly convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Ximending Night Market! This bustling area is known for its lively atmosphere, street food, and shopping, making it a perfect spot for both tourists and locals alike. Additionally, there are several convenience stores located in close proximity to the hotel, which is incredibly handy for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials you might need during your stay. When it comes to breakfast, I found that the offerings were quite repetitive, with the same items served each day. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your morning meals, you might want to consider skipping the buffet altogether and exploring some of the local breakfast options available nearby. There are plenty of cafes and eateries in the area that can provide a more diverse and enjoyable dining experience. On another note, I did have some interactions with the staff at Takao Restaurant, and I must say that they weren't particularly warm or welcoming. The service felt a bit lacking, especially from an older lady who seemed to create quite a scene when handling the plates. This could detract from the overall dining experience, so it might be worth considering other dining options if you're looking for a more pleasant atmosphere.

Convenient location, about 5mins walk to the nearest MRT station Daqiaotou. Also about 5mins walk to Ningxia night market, with other eateries and several beverage shops nearby, so you’ll never be hungry. The room was cozy and clean. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Good find for the price!

Great stay here at Hotel Cham Cham. Conveniently located nearby the metro and bus station, easy to navigate. Love the room, it’s spacious and comfy! Would recommend

If you're traveling, I'd recommend this hotel, it's close to the Taoyuan International Airport. (Around 7 minutes by car) You can see planes taking off and landing through the window, but the place is sound proofed. There are convenient stores nearby, and MRT to get to the taipei main station.

Overall, hotel is decent and new. Location is about 7 to 10mins from Ximen station and walking distance to Carrefour. Cleanliness is average as housekeeping did not clean the hidden corners of the shower. Definitely not 5 star service as the hotel called us at 12pm if we are checking out. Communication with Front Desk tend to be difficult if you speak English and there is a sense of anxiety whether the hotel understands what a guest needs

Location is near Taipei main station however it is very complicated to walk to the hotel using the underground mall. Preferably to walk on above ground. The hotel is quite dimly lit. My spouse does not feel comfortable staying there as she feel quite spooky. However the hotel is going green. Therefore many things are not provided.

Excellent service, clean and well maintained. Food at buffet breakfast has a wide variety and quality is great. The restaurant for buffet breakfast is nice and has a wonderful view facing the green.

The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Station and popular places such as Ximending. As we go to Hualien and Taichung during our visit, location is very important to us. The hotel is also featured with exceptional sauna and hotbath facility and gym and nice Michelin star Chinese restaurant.

Everything is great about this hotel, spacious rooms with stunning views, heated swimming pool, amazing sauna, delicious breakfast combining Asian and European cuisine, convenient location, helpful staff. I will definitely stay there on my next visit in Taipei.

My partner and I enjoyed a recent stay at Humble House Taipei, primarily drawn by its unbeatable location just a stone's throw from Taipei 101. This feature alone makes it a superb base for exploring the city. The room was exceptionally clean, providing a comfortable and spotless environment for our stay. However, we did wish for a bit more space to add to the comfort level. As for amenities, they were satisfactory, though the lack of known branding was noticeable. This, however, was a minor point in the context of our overall experience. In summary, if you're looking for a clean, conveniently located hotel near Taipei's most famous skyscraper, Humble House is a solid choice. The room size may be modest, but the location and cleanliness more than make up for it.

Booked through Ctrip's new user discount, the VIP king room is priced at 3061 per night on weekdays. The hotel is located on Taiwan Avenue, which is a traffic artery in Taichung City. It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas. The breakfast menu is rich, including Taichung's special fried noodles with Dongquan chili sauce. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious. My boyfriend who lives with me also likes the breakfast dishes. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung is considered a five-star hotel with a high CP value in Taiwan. Although the building and equipment have a sense of age, they feel that they have been carefully maintained. I will visit again next time I come to Taichung!

We are visiting Alishan, Sun-moon lake so make a stop at Taichung and we find this is a nice hotel and nice room and facilities are well equipt , we like hotel breadfast at the cafe which supply a bit variety of Asian food + American food too. It's a pity we only for a night , next trip I will plan to come back here for few days stay to explore Taitung.

A city hotel with a children's playground and rich brunch. Staying in a superior triple room with no window or bathtub on weekdays in November 2023. The room is novel, stylish and clean. The lobby is spacious, the staff at the counter explained in detail, and their attitude was great, which is worthy of praise. The ice-warm water dispenser is in a small room next to the lobby on the first floor. Breakfast is Phoenix Food Hall brunch, a multi-national buffet buffet. It is served from 7 am to 1 noon. The meal time is two hours. The dishes are diverse and there are six kinds of fruits. Unfortunately, the quality of the fruits is not very good. The specialty is Starbucks Coffee and Haagen-Dazs ice cream. The parking lot is located in the basement of the hotel building from B2 to B5. The entrance and exit are on Yanagawa East Road. There are many parking spaces, but the parking lot is not dedicated. When the occupancy rate is high, it may be full and there will be no parking spaces. Tenants can park for free for 24 hours. There is a dedicated elevator in the parking lot directly to the hotel. hall.

Is nice hotel with good service. Evening there is live music in cafe “ meet “. Really enjoy. Front desk staffs extremely friendly. Good value for price.

Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Will not come again. This was a horrible experience, I used to stay at this hotel many times years ago, but clearly this is not that same hotel anymore. Staff was friendly, but it was quite chaotic when we checked in, we could not find the bell boy to leave our bags. Breakfast was a joke, we sat in ridiculously low chairs for breakfast, and when I saw the manager, note, the manager not a waitress, picked up a bottle of yogurt from the floor and put back to the bowl for guest, it was quite shocking to me so I asked her why did she do that, she simply said to me ”it's not broken”. What a hotel！！

The room is very comfortable and the view of city is excellent. The location is excellent with a lot of shopping locations around. The breakfast is good with a lot of choices. The corridor carpet is smelly (strong smell of drainage pipe problem).

Parking is easy nearby. There are fallen leaves in the outdoor swimming pool that have not been cleaned. The air conditioning in the locker room is too strong. If you go in there if you are wet, you might catch a cold. The volume of the TV in the room will be louder and softer. I ordered meal service and one dish was missed. After waiting for about 40 minutes, the missed meal was served but there were no cutlery... Fortunately, there was a set of knives and forks available in the room. The meal is not bad, the side dish of French fries is super delicious Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside... I checked into a quadruple room, but I was only given three pairs of slippers and a bathrobe. After calling the counter for a response, it took about ten minutes to arrive, and the processing speed was average. The room is very clean. There is also an international brand dehumidifier, which is great.

Not too far fm Feng Jia night market by taxi ＜10mins, you can call a taxi from 7-eleven. The hotel room is practical huge bed, and breakfast selection is good and nice food. Very accommodating staff, my young one not eating much so they pack for him some bread.

Room is big, breakfast is not bad, nearest metro is less than 10 mins walk away from hotel and quite easy to find. Staff are helpful and friendly. Behind the hotel has a huge supermart but we didn't have time to explore. Overall a really good stay. Will consider staying here again!

I enjoyed my stay tremendously and at awe of the level of service from all the staff of this hotel. From the bellhop to the concierge to the maid, everyone here is professional and courteous only the highest class hotels in the US can match. Here they are doing it without expectations of tips... I traveled solo and as a single guy and not expecting much. I am surprised at the service and comfort I got that are exceeding my expectations.

We enjoyed staying at eda hotel for 3days and 2 nights.Very good for family, the kids are super enjoy. The room, complete amenities. The staff is approachable. Also the hotel is just 3min walk to the mall. Overall perfect for us. Planning that will be back .

incredibly beautiful hotel, every corner is instagrammable as it is supposed to be! especially loved the inifinity pool, an absolute luxury to have a swim during the beautiful golden hour of sunset. having a drink at the pool side bar and at the tea salon are both very enjoyable. staff are very friendly and helpful. highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits kaohsiung!

Lives up to the Grand expectations. A bit pricey restaurants but tasty and entertaining. The breakfast was bleak, needs urgent review and improvement to catch up with the interior standards set by the place. Would love to come again

We’ve stayed in Marriotts around the world and this was our favorite! The hotel is beautiful with top-notch service. Incredible breakfast and the most amazing spa/pool I’ve ever seen. Wish we had stayed longer! Definitely coming back.

The hotel's appearance, lobby, and service are better than expected. After reading the reviews, I thought it must be very old, so I booked a 6+1 room this time, and my foreign friends were satisfied. It's a pity that the hotel did not give any extra feedback to the tour leader. However, there is a plate of fruit in everyone's room, which is a little extra.

Having stayed at both Grand Hotels in Taipei and Kaohsiung, the Taipei location is hands down the premier location. The Grand Hotel in Taipei is genuinely a delightful establishment, perhaps my favorite hotel in all of Taiwan. However, the same cannot be said for the Kaohsiung location. It is clearly secondary and even a bit neglected. The hotel and its accommodations are fairly nice but at the same time feel quite outdated. The location is relaxing though, if you want to be able to sit by a pool or on a balcony looking out at a lake. Probably the biggest disappointment of my stay was that I was denied entry to the dinner buffet. People who were not guests at the hotel had already reserved all the seats. Luckily, I was able to secure a seat at a different restaurant in the hotel. I think hotel guests should have priority for seats at the buffet. When I was denied access to the buffet it felt like I was being treated as a second class citizen. “Everyone here has reservations…” the hostess told me. Well… how many of them were actually staying at the hotel? From what I could tell, not many of them were.

The location is convenient. The staff at the door will carefully remind you of the steps. They are very friendly and smiling. Every experience is good. Breakfast is a set menu with a buffet bar. I think the part of the breakfast that is not hungry needs to be strengthened. The lettuce is a bit hard. Of course, the breakfast decoration has a good atmosphere, and the service staff is also attentive and good at introducing the meals.
