Amazing! From the minute I exited my Uber upon arrival to the minute I left I felt the royal treatment. Everyone was super friendly and I could not fault anything. The L’Occitane amenities (may favourite) made me smile!
The scenery is very good, the service is good, especially with a swimming pool with a view and hot tub can be photographed and punched, leaving a good memory for the journey.
The room is big and the bed is very comfortable! When checking in, the child was given a small doll, which made the child very happy. There are wine tasting activities, roasted marshmallows, and live honey lollipops on Friday afternoon. The spa is especially good 👍 The waiters are very nice and everyone is smiling. But the scale of the hotel is not as big as the Lake Louise Castle Hotel, and the scenery there is not as good! The hotel is in Blackcomb Mountain, and it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the cable car. This side is more suitable for friends with intermediate and advanced ski slopes. If you are a beginner skier, the hotel on Whistler Mountain is more convenient. Blackcomb Mountain is relatively quiet, and there are relatively few options for eating and shopping. But from a vacation perspective, the hotel itself is very good, especially the Spa, which is so comfortable!
Nestled in the serene and picturesque landscape of Victoria, British Columbia, Oak Bay Beach Hotel offers an experience that seamlessly blends luxury, comfort, and stunning natural beauty. My stay at this boutique seaside hotel was nothing short of exceptional.
Location and Ambiance:
The location is a standout feature. Perched on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, the hotel provides breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding gardens. Whether you’re relaxing on the patio or enjoying a dip in the mineral pools, the scenery is always mesmerizing. The hotel’s architecture and decor exude a timeless elegance, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Rooms and Amenities:
The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed. My suite was equipped with a cozy fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub, and a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The attention to detail in the room’s decor and amenities, from the high-quality linens to the locally sourced toiletries, enhanced the overall experience.
This hotel is huge and spacious. The suite had all amenities including a full kitchen and kitchenettes. It even had a comfy balcony and a cozy fire place. My kids loved the queen size sofa bed and the 42 inches flat screen TV. The washroom and bath were spacious and included shampoo, conditioner and body wash and enough towels. The king bed was in a separate room for privacy and this was one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The reception area is huge and all the different levels has restaurants and there was a heated pool. The hotel is located like 5 minutes from a grocery store, which was convenient and they had valet parking for
just a few extra dollars. Right up the street had tje gondola and Whistler village centre, which we walked even though we had our own vehicle. Overall, I would stay here again and I highly recommend this accommodation. The check in and check out process was smooth and the reception was polite and kind. We were actually given a welcome card along with chocolates, cookies and ice cream pkus bottled water ☺️ PS: My 70 year old mom went to the on site spa and had her first full body massage, she loved it!
New hotel located at Bridgeport Road, Richmond. 10 minute drive from Vancouver airport which is extremely convenient. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Interior is clean and neat. My wife’s birthday and we got upgraded to a corner king bed suite for free. They are using Sealy mattress which is very comfortable and the pillows are very good as well. Not many hotels are providing Dyson hairdryer and have a bath tub which is quite new. Overall, the stay for the 10 nights are very comfortable and I highly recommend your stay in this hotel. Got a nice view from the room.
The Fairmont Whistler is a very nice property and super central. However, we felt that it was generally over-priced and they pushed the limit the whole time there on the various non-room charges. C$50 resort fee. C$50 per night for parking. C$200 for buffet breakfast for 4. The cost of our stay easily doubled. On top of that, they seem to lack the capacity to service all of their guests. Breakfast lines were very long and we waited 45 minutes for our valet. On top of this, our rooms were not ready at 4pm per their guarantee and, once we received the keys, they didn't work. Lines at the front desk were super long as well. We have stayed at the Four Seasons Whistler as well and will return there next time. The guest experience there is much better.
The room facilities are relatively new and I am very satisfied. The hotel is located together with the golf course. It is in the mountains and has a quiet environment. Breakfast is at your own expense, as is parking.

The room size is good, the bathroom layout is reasonable, the hotel corridor is brightly lit, the room decoration style is also quite fresh, but the breakfast is relatively simple, it is boring after eating too much for two days, the front desk service depends on the person, the Southeast Asian and North American locals I met are very enthusiastic, but the Chinese are hehe...
The restaurant on the first floor is delicious and affordable. The other restaurant, Victor, is average, the food is mediocre, the price is quite expensive, and the cost performance is very low

Fairmont seems to be a luxurious five star hotel. Nevertheless it’s a bit over-expected. The room is very small, and the toilet can only be used by one single person each time, which is very inconvenient if you go with young kids. High tea quality is unexpectedly low, the environment is good but the staff are not enough. The food is simply not delicate for such a renowned five star restaurant.

JJohnGreat location with outdated room. Swing door lock was missing. AC is not working (maybe I’m not using it properly). Biggest issue is noise level. It’s 12:26am and there is loud music sound coming from somewhere non stop for the last 3 hours. My room is on 13th floor. I don’t know if it’s because Friday night and maybe it’s from a bar at the ground level. Don’t people sleep here. Next time I’ll find another hotel. Vancouver was great tho
After a call and a personal visit at the front desk, finally the noise stopped around 1:05am. It was from a rooftop party. I don’t think I can sleep tonight as I’m wide awake dealing with this issue.
The following day, checked at the front desk and found out that on the weekends, there are parties on 15th floor rooftop between Thanksgiving and year end. I was able to switch room to 7th floor and the problem disappeared the following 2 nights.
I loved the location and people were friendly but just beware that you may have to deal with loud music if you were to stay on 13,14th floor (maybe 12th floor) on the weekends in Nov/Dec.
GGuest UserService and hospitality was impecable.
I have stayed at the Pan Pacific when in Vancouver
For the past thirty years.
William at the front desk was very efficient at
sourcing my favorite room with a panoramic view of
Vancouvers beautiful Harbour.
Sincerely,
Captain Stevenson

GGuanhaitingtaotourAs soon as I entered the room, I was shocked by the beautiful view of the bay outside the floor-to-ceiling window! The sea and the sky are one color, so beautiful that it is breathtaking!
180° unbeatable sea view room, when you open your eyes in the morning, you will see the cruise ship and the snow-capped mountains, and the city lights are on at night, and it is super cool to see the night view.
Fairmont is worthy of being the representative of Canada's top luxury hotels, the service is super considerate, just like returning home.
The room is low-key and luxurious European style, with complete facilities, and the bedding is so soft that it feels like sleeping in the clouds.
The hotel is located in Canada Square, with an excellent location. The cruise terminal is across the road, and the SkyTrain Binhai Station is a 3-minute walk away. It is super romantic to walk along the beach in the evening.
