5-Star Hotels in Anhui, China

We loved our stay at J Mountain. The balcony faces the 人字瀑布 (Renzi Waterfall) and the view is absolutely amazing — interestingly, the waterfall also doubles as a weather indicator for conditions up the mountain, since you can gauge what's happening higher up by the volume of water coming down. The location is excellent too, only 500m from the Yuping cableway. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle with driver to both the Yuping and Yungu cableways, as well as to Tangkou town, which made getting around incredibly convenient. On rainy days they even provided us with rubber shoe covers and raincoats — a really thoughtful touch. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious with generous portions, which was a real bonus after a long day on the mountain. A really memorable stay and highly recommended for anyone climbing Huangshan.

Perched on the cliff face of Lion Peak at an elevation of 1630 meters, the hotel offers breathtaking views of rolling cloud seas and majestic peaks right outside your window. It's within walking distance of attractions like Monkey Watching the Sea and Shixin Peak, making it easy to catch both sunrise and sunset. Although our visit was hampered by rainy weather, preventing us from enjoying the sunrise and sunset, the fusion of the 400-year-old Red Temple with modern glass villas creates a serene atmosphere where Zen coexists with nature. Here, gazing at the clouds, listening to the pine trees, and stargazing truly soothe away all weariness. It's definitely worth another trip to Huangshan for this experience.

The newly opened five-star hotel in my hometown has a great environment, especially the night view, with its beautiful fountain and light show. The room window offers a view of Sleeping Beauty Mountain. The hotel service is also excellent; they called to ask if I needed anything and helped arrange a higher floor. They even gave me a Mid-Autumn Festival gift bag with snacks and an eye mask – very thoughtful! I'm so happy that my hometown has such a wonderful hotel.

Having lived abroad for many years, I’ve experienced quite a number of world-class hotels and the highest standards of service and facilities. Even compared with those hotels, the overall design philosophy of Luming Valley, the meticulous attention to both interior and exterior details, the restaurant cuisine, and the service provided by the staff are all truly top-tier. Mr. and Mrs. Zhu are exceptionally warm and hospitable, and the story behind their creation of this hotel was deeply moving. It added many wonderful memories to our trip to Huangshan. First of all, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the ticket gate, and across the street from the core temple complex of Jiuhua Mountain. The temples are just steps away, making worshipping Buddha incredibly convenient! There's a direct bus to Huatai right outside the hotel, and the shuttle bus stop is just a minute or two's walk uphill, making it perfect for families with children and elderly members—no walking required. I must commend the hotel front desk staff on the morning of May 4th. When I checked out that morning, I left my jacket with my car keys in my room. I had already boarded the shuttle bus to Huatai, so I immediately called the front desk. The staff promptly went to my room, found my jacket and car keys, and placed them on the next shuttle bus to Huatai. I'm so grateful!!!

An excellent experience! **Location:** Very convenient. It's only a 20-minute bullet train ride away, and you can walk to MixC (for all your dining and entertainment needs) in 7-8 minutes. There's also a park nearby for a stroll. **Facilities & Hygiene:** Generally great. The room was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the toilet had smart features. Plenty of coffee capsules, mineral water, and tissues. The gym isn't huge but is very popular. The swimming pool is 8x25 meters; during summer, it's busy with kids' classes, but I highly recommend the massage pool and steam room in the changing area. **Service:** I really commend the service. Mindy was fantastic, promptly connecting with me and offering helpful reminders. I especially loved the beautiful executive lounge environment and the high-quality dishes, which truly elevated the hotel's overall service!

We were a family of four, with two kids who are almost 1.7 meters tall. We booked the deluxe twin room after seeing that the beds were 1.2 meters wide and the room was spacious, thinking we could add an extra bed if needed. Turns out, we could just push the beds together and all four of us slept comfortably. The butler service was excellent, and all the important information was sent to us via WeChat. The hotel is close to Guanhong Peak, but to catch the sunset, you have to hike for quite a while to reach the summit, which is pretty tiring. In the mornings, hotel staff lead guests to watch the sunrise, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the viewing platform. The hotel's buffet was just okay, but you can't expect too much since it's on a mountain. The hotel's convenience store has snacks, but no instant noodles. On our second day, we were in a hurry to get home, so we took the cable car down from the northern side, which is closest to the hotel. However, there are few buses from the North Gate to the South Gate, and the journey takes an hour and a half. Since you now have to go to the East Gate, it adds another hour compared to before. If you plan to take the bus, make sure to check the schedule carefully.

Had a great mini-break here – just two days but totally worth it. Staff were super friendly, service was spot on. The pool is huge and perfect for a proper swim. Breakfast buffet had loads of options – everyone in our family found their favourite. All in all, a brilliant stay!

Banyan Tree, as always, lives up to its excellent reputation. The service is top-notch, the environment is spotless, and they cater to your every need! Upon arriving at Banyan Tree, the welcome ceremony after getting out of the car was very distinctive of Huizhou. The fermented glutinous rice wine was also delicious and not too sweet. A waitress in the dinner restaurant was absolutely wonderful – always smiling, taking orders, and providing service that was incredibly professional. She truly deserves commendation! We dined at the dinner restaurant for two consecutive evenings, and she served us both times. Her service was impeccable in every aspect, making guests feel very well taken care of. She definitely adds value to Banyan Tree! The hotel's photography service was also excellent; the service was great, the technique was superb, and they were very polite. The photographer was of high caliber, enduring the heat without any complaints, taking fantastic photos for guests from all angles! Upon checking out, we were even given a special Huizhou gift 🎁. It was truly a perfect stay! Fantastic!

This is a beautiful and thoughtful hotel. From the front desk service to the butler and the quality of the restaurant's food, you can feel the systematic training and careful attention to detail. It's considered a high-standard new hotel in Hefei. When checking out, I wrote a blessing on a red ribbon, wishing them continued success.
