The environment is great, the rooms are spacious, the views are beautiful, and the breakfast spread is very rich. The staff are also very polite and friendly to guests. However:
1) There were children continuously screaming loudly in the gym, and no staff came to manage them.
2) The breakfast restaurant was very crowded on the weekend. The hosts should have been prepared earlier to control the flow of people. Today, after being let in, there were no empty tables, and guests were still being let in continuously afterward. It was chaotic, and everyone stood around, unsure of what to do.
3) A child kept dragging their chair while eating, making a lot of noise, and no staff member came to inquire about what was happening.

Facilities: This hotel was renovated just 2.5 years ago, so all the facilities are brand new. It's the closest hotel to the Yunggu Cable Car. However, the room was very small and cramped. While I understand that's common for hotels on the mountain, the renovation smell was incredibly strong. It was everywhere – in the hallways and in the room. Closing the window was a real struggle due to the smell. On the plus side, the underfloor heating was wonderfully warm, not cold at all, which was a huge bonus.
Cleanliness: Generally very good.
Environment: It's just 50 meters from 'Dreamland Brush' and 'Pen Holder Mountain', and 400 meters from 'Monkeys Watching the Sea'. The hotel provides a guide to take guests to see the sunrise and sunset in the morning and evening, and they take you to excellent viewing spots.
Service: The service was fantastic. The concierge constantly updated us with various information, was always responsive to requests, and provided timely reminders. They also helped with activity bookings. During peak dining hours, you get a number, and they call you when your table is ready. The room even had down jackets, which were essential for watching the sunset in the evening.
Complimentary activities:
Dual tickets to Huashan Grottoes (excluding the puzzle-solving part): This is in Tunxi, an hour's bus ride after descending the mountain, so we didn't go.
Cultural experience activities (Song-style tea ceremony/traditional incense making/Hanfu experience): Some require reservations, which the concierge will help with.
Two cups of Qimen Black Tea or Huangshan Maofeng Tea: Available for experience at the tea bar.

Traveling to Huangshan with my child during the winter break, I carefully selected the Xihai Hotel. We took the 'South up, North down' route to avoid the crowds, ascending via Yuping Cable Car at noon and descending via Taiping Cable Car. We arrived at Xihai Hotel around 5 PM. The front desk staff were excellent, quickly checking us in and providing detailed information about the facilities and activities, which was fantastic. They even upgraded our room! The restaurant offered a wide variety of buffet options, and there was a folk culture performance in the evening. They also provided a sunrise viewing service in the morning. If I have the chance to visit Huangshan again, I will definitely choose Xihai Hotel.

Staying at the Grand Hyatt Hefei for this trip, I found the hotel's location to be excellent. It's really close to attractions like the Anhui Museum (new building), the Art Museum, and the Geological Museum, as well as the popular 'Hecai 1972' complex. The hotel is also on a high floor, offering panoramic views of Swan Lake and Hefei's famous 'Three-Piece Set' landmarks.

We booked a suite with a 270-degree view, with a river on one side and a city view on the other, which was great. Sunny in the lobby was very friendly when we checked in. She took the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding delicacies, wrote them down in detail on a small piece of paper, and sent us some fruit. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. I especially want to say that because my second sister Hongdou had red bean paste in Wuhu the day before, I saw it in the hotel this morning, so I was very excited. However, I felt that there were not enough red beans, so I asked the waiter Mavis if I could add some red beans. I thought it was impossible, but the enthusiastic Mavis immediately went to the kitchen to look for it, and found that there were only cold red beans, so she immediately helped us steam them, so that we could enjoy a very satisfying breakfast. Thanks again to the two above.

From the moment I arrived, the customer service at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hefei was impeccable, with staff anticipating every need. My room was a sanctuary of cleanliness, where every surface gleamed and the linens were freshly pressed. The attention to detail extended to the immaculate pool and wellness area, which provided a truly luxurious escape. This hotel masterfully combines warm hospitality, an unbeatable setting, and flawless upkeep for an unforgettable stay. Western breakfast buffet and their buffet dinner was dangerously delicious 🤗. Once again, excellent customer service... Thank you 🌹

This stay was beyond my expectations! From the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the clean and cozy layout of the guest rooms, every detail makes people feel comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom equipment is brand new and fully functional, and even the corners are spotless. The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the hot food tastes fresh, which can fully meet the needs of different tastes. I especially want to praise the staff, whether it is helping to carry luggage or patiently answering surrounding travel guides, the service is considerate and efficient. The location is also great, with convenient transportation, and the surrounding business districts and attractions are close at hand. The price-performance ratio is super high, I will choose here next time I come, highly recommended! The front desk Tingting is very good👍

The view from the room was fantastic, being right by the river and offering a great panorama of the Yangtze River. The staff were extremely attentive; we received complimentary cookies upon check-in, and in the evening, a large platter of welcome fruit was delivered to our room, which was so generous we couldn't finish it all. The hotel breakfast was of excellent quality, with a wide variety of options, and the coffee was delicious. I would definitely consider staying here again. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted below 26 degrees Celsius, which was a bit uncomfortable for someone sensitive to heat.
I am honor to book in WANDA REALM Bengbu amazing service supper clean location is fantastic and I am so much appreciated and thankful for Kate to help me and guide me while I was staying honor to me to book again and again
The hotel is in a great location, very quiet, with nice scenery and convenient transportation. The breakfast is rich and very good. Hanna, the assistant lobby manager, is very friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with the room I was given. [Strong]

GGuest UserShuisongshi is a perfect place to unwind and recharge, offering a low-key, unassuming atmosphere with thoughtful and attentive service. The hotel is located below the Yuping Cable Car station, about a 10-minute walk away. From the window, you can see the Renzi Waterfall, with a remarkably clear lake nestled beneath it. They provide shuttle service to and from both the Yuping and Yungugu Cable Car stations, as well as the parking lot. Free raincoats and hiking poles are also provided. A complimentary breakfast and dinner are offered daily, along with tea tasting sessions, making for a truly pleasant and comfortable stay.
JJamesThe hotel is in the style of an old state-owned enterprise. The facilities are too old and seem to have not been renovated. The rooms are small and damaged everywhere. Its location is the best, just within 100 meters after entering the toll gate.
The service in the front desk lobby is relatively good, and they are caring.
The mix of guests is also a problem. You can hear loud noises at four o'clock in the morning, and at six o'clock in the morning, the old men and women ”wake up” everyone like the crowing of the 🐓 in the morning. The breakfast is average.
By the way, I have to remind you that starting this year, Jiuhua Mountain does not allow self-driving to the mountain during the day (it is allowed after 5 pm, but it is also subject to the daily control notice). Guests need to pick up their own luggage and take the shuttle bus at 50 yuan per person to check in after going up the mountain, which is not very convenient.
AAhadGermanRoom was spacious and comfortable, although sound insulation of walls, doors, and windows was not enough to prevent noise from neighbours or hallway and street even on 40th floor. Amenities are good and practical. Swimming pool and gym are great. Location is also very good. Service is variable. Staff is very friendly and responsible, but they need to pay a little more attention to simple English skills. However, breakfast and generally, foods in restaurant were not satisfactory enough. Western and international food is just a name. You can't really taste German Wurst or Italian pizza! The continental food, especially western breakfast, is quite ordinary, I'm talking about flavours and tastes, not quantity. It's not very eye-catching and for a five-star hotel as you would expect. Although, overall I recommend hotel.
11502682****I visited Huangshan with my second-grader, and after looking at a few hotels, I was completely drawn in by the stunning looks of this guesthouse. The service was exceptional. On Friday evening, as soon as we got off the car, two lovely ladies came to greet us. I had pre-ordered dinner on the way, so we could enjoy fresh, hot food right after settling in. The dishes were made with natural ingredients, and their homemade rice wine was incredibly delicious. We stayed for two nights and had all our breakfasts and dinners at the guesthouse – so yummy! Due to a small mishap, the owner even upgraded our room to a loft, which made my child excitedly exclaim it was a 'princess room'! Overall, the experience was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

GGuest UserFive stars, highly recommended! The Banyan Tree Huangshan Townhouse was an amazing surprise.
The Anhui-style white walls and dark tiles are nestled among the green mountains, and opening the window reveals a picturesque ink wash painting. The environment is serene and healing. The one-on-one butler service was incredibly attentive, quick to respond, and had a great attitude, making the entire stay effortless. The room facilities were astonishingly complete: tableware, washing machine, oven, induction cooker – everything you could need. The capsule coffee machine and complimentary tea were an excellent bonus. The fresh, plump welcome fruit paired with a handwritten welcome letter added a wonderful touch of ceremony. The holiday experience was perfect, and I'll definitely be back!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel exceeded our expectations, it was fantastic! 🌟
I'm so glad I called the hotel a week before our trip to inquire about transportation. The customer service representative reminded me that I needed to book tickets in advance. We had already booked our flights and hotel but hadn't gotten our Yellow Mountain tickets. The rep proactively helped us plan our route and even said we could cancel our hotel reservation if we couldn't get tickets, which was incredibly kind of them.
The hotel is right by the Yungu cable car, making it very convenient for accessing and leaving the scenic area. Since the hotel is halfway up the mountain, you need to book in advance with the front desk if you want to go down, which can be a bit restrictive time-wise. However, if you're solely there for hiking and don't plan on going down the mountain, it's absolutely perfect.
After our flight landed, we headed straight to the Yellow Mountain South Gate for our hike. We left our luggage at a designated shuttle point down the mountain, and the hotel arranged for a driver to pick it up and bring it to the hotel. They even provided two hiking poles for us beforehand. We made it down on the last Yungu cable car at 5:10 PM and checked into the hotel. They kindly upgraded our room for free. A very enthusiastic lady named Yu Ning at the lobby helped us with many questions and even brought us hot tea to warm us up. For someone like me who tends to procrastinate, this was incredibly comprehensive service. I wish I could give them a 6-star review.
By the way, the hotel breakfast was delicious! I don't know where those scary reviews came from before.
MM31101****This hotel has the best heating! The bathtub water gets really hot and the shower pressure is fantastic. The mattress is super comfortable, and the projector works great. I loved sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window, sipping tea and enjoying the amazing mountain views. There's also a separate balcony, which is really convenient for drying clothes. The hair dryer is a Laifen, with powerful airflow and low heat – it's clear the hotel put a lot of thought into both the design and the selection of amenities. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserThis is an amazing place to unwind and relax on the mountain. Surrounded by pine trees and giant boulders, this hotel is transformed from a 400 year temple. So 2 of the pine trees are over 200 years old. The hotel is constructed along a slope and so there are terraces of rooms looking into the valley.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We were contacted before check-in so they could arrange complimentary tickets for the national park, cable cars and bus rides. They offered to carry our bags but we were hiking and backpacking. We felt very welcomed once we stepped into the compound, it felt like stepping into paradise above the clouds. We were treated to afternoon tea out on the terrace under the canopy of pine trees while one of the staff elaborated on the background of the hotel.
The modern classy design retained several of the historical elements and there were several modern flower arrangements. The entire place was tidy and immaculate, serene and relaxing. Perfect for a retreat from the city.
There’s a roof terrace for amazing views and photo opportunities. And the staff took amazing photos with her DSLR and sent to us via WeChat. At night, the Milky Way stars are clearly visible. We attended a tea ceremony session in the evening too, a Song dynasty tea ceremony which was the origin of Japanese matcha ceremony but using 白茶.
Our room has a large bay window with pine trees outside, beautiful view of the valley. Very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. There’s a feet massager too for those who have hiked the entire day.
