I absolutely love this hotel! I first discovered it ten years ago during my initial visit to Cangzhou, and ever since, whenever I pass through, I always choose to stay here. After all these years, the hotel is still so well-maintained, which really shows their high standards. The lobby is grand, bright, and features cultural elements, offering complimentary drinks and snacks to guests. The front desk staff are warm, professional, and patient, and the lobby manager is very friendly, proactively engaging with guests and introducing local attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with windows for ventilation and humidifiers. The facilities are meticulously maintained, especially the bathroom and shower, which have grab bars for safety – a thoughtful touch. The toiletries are also high-quality. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and plentiful, with good quality. They deliver drinks, yogurt, and fruit to the room, and phone requests are handled promptly and efficiently. The parking lot is large enough, and the attendants are polite and courteous. The hotel's location is convenient, right off the Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The attention to detail in their service truly reflects how much they value the customer experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and every detail was handled with professionalism and care. Everything I needed during my stay was provided promptly and with genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Kara, Vicky (The house keeper), and Vivian for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make my stay truly worthwhile, always attentive, warm, and ready to help. Their dedication and hospitality made a real difference and left a lasting impression. InterContinental Shijiazhuang delivers world-class service and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in the city.

Extremely close to Hebei Provincial Museum, just a 5-minute walk, which is very convenient. The hotel occupies floors 31 and above, while below is the Kaiyuan Financial Center. The room facilities are excellent, and the hygiene is impeccable. The bed is a bit on the soft side. The swimming pool and gym on the 29th floor are free to use. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully gave us two complimentary drink vouchers. Booking in advance offers exceptional value for money.

As foreign travellers, we ran into some difficulties purchasing attraction tickets and bus transfer due to lack of a local phone number. We met David at the concierge and asked if we could get some help to purchase. Without hesitation, he offered to purchase on our behalf and even followed up with the attraction to confirm the arrangement. Thanks to his help, we were able to visit the attraction smoothly the next day without any issues. He made us feel very welcome, and his help left us with a wonderful impression of Handan☺️ Thanks David!

It is indeed the first Intercontinental hotel in Xingtai, and the quality is not said. The room is very spacious and the decoration style is also unified by the group. The doorman will take the initiative to take the luggage, Rea at the front desk smiles, the check-in speed is very fast, and the breakfast time and location will be introduced. Any questions can be responded positively, and Lucas manager, whether it is our own travel problem or any episode, will help us deal with it as soon as possible, feel professional and enthusiastic. Especially these two let us have such a good stay experience. I will still choose the InterContinental Group Hotel as always.

The Shangri-La Hotel is world-renowned, excelling in every aspect. It boasts the best location in Qinhuangdao, facing the sea with a distant view of Beidaihe's Pigeon Nest Park. The environment is absolutely top-notch! Just a small suggestion: the check-in process was too complicated. It took me ten minutes to finally get my room key. Other hotels manage this in a minute or two, so why is yours so intricate? It really needs improvement, especially during the summer when long queues can be quite frustrating.

Arrived on the afternoon of Chinese New Year's Day. Both counters were busy during check-in, but Cathy proactively directed us to the third one. Since we were two adults with two young children, it was a bit of a struggle. Cathy thoughtfully gave the kids small horses to comfort them, which was very sweet. For the rest of our stay, everything perfectly matched our booking requests: a bed rail was installed, and child-friendly toiletries and a toilet seat were provided. The housekeeping staff never slacked off, even though the kids made quite a mess. Our room was always spotless when we returned. We'll definitely be back!

I bought a pre-sale voucher, and it felt like a pretty good deal. I chose InterContinental to relax after a terrible stay the night before I went skiing. Since we arrived late in the evening, the signs weren't very clear. It felt like the InterContinental lobby was off to the side, not as grand as the hotel next door. Check-in was smooth, and the room was excellent with complete facilities. The only thing was that the bathroom door was too heavy, and it got a bit warm after closing it. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious; my family loved it. It would be even better if there was a sign for the cold food section, as we didn't notice it at first and wondered why there weren't any salads or fruits. Here's a small piece of feedback about the dining experience: Our group of 5 was led to a table further inside the restaurant upon arrival. There were clearly clean two-person and three-person tables available by the entrance, which could have been pushed together to make a five-person table. Instead, we were seated at a five-person table (also made of a 2+3 combination) that hadn't been fully cleared yet, which was quite puzzling. I sent my family to get food, and during that time, I noticed the server prioritized setting up cutlery at an empty table nearby instead of first clearing and setting our table. There were two male servers in that area, who seemed to be new. Their plate clearing and service awareness could use improvement. One of them was quite slow and looked a bit tired, only clearing empty plates from our table after being prompted by a supervisor. In contrast, the male server in the entrance area was quick, efficient, and well-organized at clearing tables. The service difference was quite noticeable.

Convenient location, great service, nice breakfast, only drawback is smoking allowed in lobby. Even our non smoking room experience the Smoke.

What truly drew me to this hotel was its industrial design, and once inside, I found the details to be even richer than I'd imagined. It's not just a few 'industrial-style decorations'; they've genuinely crafted the ambiance. The materials, lines, and lighting all contribute to a fantastic feel. During the day, the natural light streams in beautifully, creating a very clean look, while the evenings offer a completely different vibe. You can take great photos anywhere, everything looks so textured and photogenic. I initially thought a design-focused hotel like this might have mediocre service, but my experience was actually a huge plus. Saria was wonderful – never intrusive, but always on hand to help promptly when needed, and she communicated everything clearly, so I didn't have to keep checking in myself. Overall, it's a place where the space leaves a lasting impression, and the service perfectly complements the experience. I'd definitely recommend it to friends for a stylish stay or a quiet getaway.
