5-Star Hotels in Setubal District, Portugal

A 4-star hotel that leaves much to be desired. The internet doesn't work, and when it does, it drops after five minutes. This happens in both the rooms and the common areas of the hotel. The pool is very small and lacks enough sun loungers for the number of rooms/guests. The room doors don't close properly, allowing light from the hallway to enter the room. The blackout curtains are persistent, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Waking up at 8 am to the noise of vacuum cleaners and beds being dragged isn't ideal, but I understand that the rooms need cleaning… perhaps if the doors closed properly it wouldn't be so bothersome. On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is noticeable.

For a 5-star hotel, I thought the facilities were those of a 4-star hotel. This hotel is in need of renovation, both in the rooms and in the Salinas restaurant, where breakfast is served. The floor of the room where I stayed has a very worn covering, and the sofa needs to be replaced. As for the breakfast room, practically all the chairs have their upholstery down. In my opinion, they should invest in renewing the infrastructure, because the Hotel has an excellent location.
