4-Star Hotels in Tirana County, Albania

Feedback Following Our Recent Stay Dear Management team, I tried to enjoy the stay but there were items that were very unprofessionally done. In our toom the TV was on NO signal were i reported it 3 times and then i gave up. Bathroom mirror light was not working with wires coming out from behind the mirror which were dangers. In the room there was no rack were you put the luggage we have to put it on the floor and we need to neel on the floor get out our items from my luggage (a person of 62 year old). We were at the 2 second floor and smell of rubbish was coming from the lifts shafts and from the stairs mostly all 6 days in the hotel. Food was Good but it need to get better with better training. I could see in a particular days the team was driven well and in order other days everything with the flow. At the entrance there is a pool on the left side but when you swim or walk in it pool bed tiles come out and missing this is very unprofessional work of upkeep. THe main pool which is the most centre of attraction which is nice and good they never hover the pool floor, when move in it you can feel the dust gravel under your feet. Waiters in the bars in some days were so exposited working for long hours in the hot environment staff cant stay for long time in such conditions. Pool floor deck needs high attention in the main whole they got tiles broken and not leveled you can easily get an accident. Wifi in the pool areas were not all supported and in the areas that were reached the banquet of internet was low. I work in hospitality and to improved your standards the management team need to go to the table and start working in the areas to get better and more profenialy. Serving the clients is not an easy job but there this that can make you all better and in higher standard. I'm not saying that everything was wrong but to get high level the management team need to work on several areas as i mentioned. I am not write this to make you feel bad but you have a wonderful place but with the new competitions around you can lose the market and the clients so start making yourself better and all staff work in teams with good strategy and results. Everything was really good! The room offered a wonderful view of the central square. The room itself was clean, and the staff were friendly and upbeat. Free parking was a nice bonus. The only downside was the very, very basic breakfast. I would have liked at least some hot fried eggs.

Central to restaurants and bars. Very close by to the town square. The only thing was during our stay, there was a blackout and whilst we were on the 6th floor we walked downstairs. However there were no emergency lighting in the stairwell and we had to use our mobile phone torch to guide us downstairs. WiFi took 24 hours to resume back to normal which was a little bit annoying when we required it for us to check-in our flights as we were going to depart soon. Other than that, we had a good time in Tirana.

A very lovely space with all essential amenities and easy accessibility to different tourist centres by foot. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall this hotel is fantastic. Location is good, room is spacious and comfortable, many ammenities and the staff is all lovely. Unfortunately whoever cleaned my room didn’t do it very well. There was a used hairtie on the armchair and garbage between the bed and window so I didnt want this person touching my things so left the do not disturb on. Also when I booked the room it said I would have a balcony but I didn’t. I asked about changing to a balcony room but was denied. Alda went above and beyond with her service helping me set up things outside the hotel. She is a gem.

There are a lot of minuses, let's start with the main ones. If you are a blonde, please wear a cap if you go to the pool. I have an ash blonde that I have been trying to achieve for many years, but after their pool my hair turned green. I don't know what they add to the pool! At the time of check-in, when paying in $ cash, they told me that we accept either local currency or €. I decided to pay by card, but the hotel took an extra $30, I didn't notice right away, but as soon as I noticed, I wrote to technical support. When technical support contacted the hotel, the hotel denied that they took an extra $30 from me. Despite the fact that I have a receipt for payment for $30 more and a bank statement. They denied that they took $30 from me, despite the fact that I have all the evidence. When I personally went to the reception to sort it out, they told me that it wasn't them who took $30, but they should have taken $30 because they were converting from dollars to euros from euros to their local currency and this conversion would cost $30. But supposedly the bank was billing me this amount, not the hotel itself, although the bill itself was billed on behalf of the hotel. I didn't like that at all. There were no slippers in the rooms, by the way, they didn't deny that they didn't have slippers. Very strange behavior from the staff. Their breakfasts only last 2 hours and cost €10, but for some reason the breakfast is extremely meager, it's easier to have breakfast for the same amount in a nearby cafe.

Location-wise was really inconvenient if you do not have a car. It is located on an extremely busy highway, and it is a trek along the roadside to get to the bus depot or the bus stop. It is a 5min walk from the bus depot that has airport shuttles, which would take you about 30-45 minutes either way. It takes around 40 minutes to get into the city from the bus stop. The breakfast really did not meet standards for a Mercure hotel; the variety was extremely limited, and the food didn't seem very fresh either. I wouldn't bother with paying the extra for breakfast. The room was clean and seemed new from the smell, and it was very decent. The gym was quite unhygienic. I had the room to myself, but there were used towels and cups everywhere, and the ventilation wasn't great.

hotel is great located at the center of Tiarana. Around the heart center of the city. Easy to go alone to the city park and Parlza. Everything is good service, the reception is very helpful and kindly. Have a great breakfast and coffee lounge. Reasonable price for the trip. Room is clean and everyday have helper clean the room. Bed is supper comfortable. Will come again.

The accommodation was very good: the rooms are beautiful, the dinner was incredibly delicious and great and the service was very friendly and attentive. The more we are disappointed by the livestock. The cows are in very short, about a meter long chains and can hardly move. During our stay we only saw them there. When lying, they are partly in their own mouth. The condition of a bright brown cow that worked extremely thin – Rip, spine and hook bones were clearly visible. Of course we cannot judge whether age or a disease is responsible for it. In particular, in a agriculture tourism where animals are part of the concept, animal welfare should be a high priority. Despite the very beautiful accommodation, excellent food and great service, this aspect has unfortunately left a very negative impression with us and we believe that it should be addressed and improved urgently.

A decent hotel on the edge of town. Clean modern room, helpful front desk, good breakfast. Shops and restaurants nearby. A 20 min walk into the centre. Nice spa in the basement with free use of steam room and sauna for guests.
