My recent business trip to Xining led me to this hotel, and I must say the overall experience was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and efficient; check-in was quick, and they even helped carry my luggage to the room. The room's facilities were new and complete, with a fresh and elegant ambiance. The decor was simple yet cozy. Complimentary disposable toiletries, bottled water, and tea were provided. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards; the bedding was changed after each guest, and the entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in even the trickiest corners. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining.

The room was spotless, and having the toilet, shower, and sink separated was very convenient. The lobby isn't large but it's very cozy, and the facilities are well-equipped and user-friendly, which I really appreciate. I'll definitely stay at Qinghang Hotel again next time I'm in town.

Extremely convenient location! Downstairs, you'll find the Nanguan snack street, and it's just 100 meters to Nanguan Mosque, 400 meters to Dongguan Mosque, and 500 meters to Beiguan Mosque. The geographical location is absolutely perfect. It's only 2 km from the train station and a 30-minute drive to the airport. The floor attendant, Ma Ping, was incredibly welcoming. She gave us yogurt for each room and even helped me freeze the beef and lamb I bought from the night market. I highly recommend Hilton to anyone visiting Xining.

Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice. Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly. Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring. Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated. Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. This is honestly the best deal in town. I have been coming to Xining for 10 years, stayed in different hotels each time. This is for sure my favourite one and the best deal in this range of prices. First, the location. Right in the city centre, with a lot of taxis coming by (this can be an issue for hotels in other locations, where taxis are more rare). It is super convenient and one can reach any part of town efficiently and quickly. There are many buses that go from here to anywhere in town. Second, the quality of the room, of the bed (super super cosy and comfortable, which is really nice after travelling roughly for two weeks in the nearby countryside), the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very good hygiene products, not cheap toothpaste and soap like in other hotels. Third, and most importantly, the quality and warmth of the service. At the reception, the employees are very friendly and understanding, very warm-hearted, You feel really welcome in this hotel. They have helped me in several ways. especially Mrs Jane and Mrs Sunny Bai: fantastic people! They also speak English! Makes the whole stay memorable, enjoyable, relaxing. I will surely come back here next time. This is an upper-tier hotel made available with affordable prices. Thank you!

I booked this hotel last minute for a sudden business trip. On the way, I accidentally lost my charger, and I urgently needed to work that evening. I contacted the front desk just to try my luck. The staff quickly brought charging equipment and thoughtfully reminded me to call if I needed anything else. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and the bed was soft and quiet. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. A small, unexpected hiccup actually made this stay particularly memorable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time because this hotel is just so heartwarming, and the service is incredibly attentive. Aside from the view outside the window, just this detailed and thoughtful service alone left a great impression. It's excellent value for money and well worth staying.

On June 28, 2026, at 7:00 AM, after a high-speed train and a slower 'green-skin' train journey, we finally arrived at the Golmud Huanghe International Hotel. The friendly front desk lady warmly welcomed us and quickly processed our check-in. She even thoughtfully gave us two breakfast vouchers and advised us to rest well at the hotel after eating to acclimatize to the high altitude, rather than engaging in strenuous activities right away. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It also has its own parking lot, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. The guest rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, and the housekeeping staff diligently cleaned them every day. The hotel breakfast was abundant, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as ******* tsampa and milk tea. The freshly prepared beef noodles were particularly good. They delivered complimentary fruit and snacks every day. On two occasions when we left early for a day tour, they even prepared packed lunches for us. The lobby manager, Xiaofang, was incredibly kind. She gave us a discount when we extended our stay and even added us on WeChat, checking in daily to see how we (being seniors in our sixties) were adapting to the high altitude. The Golmud Huanghe International Hotel truly felt like a warm and considerate temporary home for us in the highlands. We are very grateful for the efforts of every staff member at the hotel. Our trip to the Northwest highlands was delightful, and none of our initial worries materialized; we completed our high-altitude itinerary smoothly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Golmud. Five-star rating!

My last night in Xining, I chose this hotel mainly because it's close enough to the train station. The hotel's underground parking lot seems to have a limited number of spaces (similar to the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at before). You need to get a handwritten pass from the front desk to enter and exit without paying for parking. I arrived around 3:30 PM, and they said the room was still being inspected, so I had to wait a bit before getting the room card. The front desk also gave me two complimentary vouchers for afternoon tea on the top floor. I checked it out later, and honestly, it felt less impressive than the breakfast's dessert, fruit, and beverage selection. 😅 I got a room on the 20th floor with views of the mountains to the north and south of Xining, so I guess you could call it a ”mountain view + city view” room. Breakfast was pretty standard. The local specialties from Qinghai were 'sanzi' and 'huahua' (I think that's what it was called, also a fried starchy food). Similar to other HUAZHU hotels I've stayed at, this one had many tourists from eastern China. Around 8 AM, the restaurant and elevators became particularly crowded. Goodbye, Xining! 👋

The breakfast offered a rich variety, including meat, vegetables, pastries, and beverages, all fresh and delicious. The front desk staff, Xiao Xi, had a gentle attitude and responded quickly to requests. The value for money far surpasses hotels in the same price range. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I've saved this place and will prioritize staying here again next time I visit this city. I genuinely recommend it to all fellow travelers!
