4-Star Hotels in Alajuela, Costa Rica

This hotel has a free shuttle. Ask at Information at the airport and they will show you where to find it. It's easy. From friendly reception to good breakfast to arrangement of quick tour, I enjoyed my stay here. Comfy pillows and bed. Everything here was to my satisfaction, including a nice, hot shower and late checkout. I recommend this hotel.

The staff were all great, especially all the restaurant staff. I especially appreciated the hotel making special arrangements to celebrate my birthday. However, some of the shortfalls included the very slow and inconsistent WIFI at our building (500), the bathroom door couldn’t be kept closed, and the in room jacuzzi never got hot. But on the positive note, the in room AC was very good, the room, bathroom and shower were spacious and had hot water. P.S. I was underwhelmed by my undercooked tomahawk during dinner.

Very comfortable hotel. Clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Hotel provided 24/7 shuttle bus service and it was especially helpful for me since I reached San Jose airport only at 1.30 am. Will stay in this hotel again if I fly into Costa Rica again.

Great location and facilities. Lodges had everything. Helpful concierge, cafe and reception staff. Restaurant is a little soulless and somewhat pretentious as the food is average which was a bit disappointing as everything else was of a very high standard.

Room was fine but nothing special and not very well sound proof Smoking zone is outside the hotel so you have to walk a lot Pools are great but lots of kids Service can be improved a lot (lots of mistakes) Breakfast buffet is awesome and very various

This was a great place to stay! Loved the location, the design of the space and the grounds. And the staff, especially Raul, were impressive with hospitality!

Nice location, on hills of the village , 20 minutes from the vulcano area. Little villas with top tecnology on site. Nice jacuzzi and barbecue

Peace Lodge is just like a wonderland.  It's amazing.  The restaurants are great.  Happy stay!
