I booked an executive suite, which was incredibly spacious and offered excellent value for money. It came with a bathtub, a diffuse oxygen generator, and a humidifier. The self-service laundry is free 24/7, and there's also a complimentary laundry service for 5 items per day, though I didn't end up using it.
The service was excellent; the front desk staff helped carry my luggage to the room.

This was my first time in Tibet, and I was most concerned about altitude sickness and lack of oxygen. This hotel provides oxygen and humidifiers all day, so I felt completely at ease. The hotel is located between Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace, about a kilometer from both, which is very convenient. The hotel facilities are top-notch, and the service is particularly noteworthy. As soon as I entered, a lovely lady in the lobby presented me with a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf), which was a delightful surprise. The room also had milk tablets, candies, and a tea set, making it feel very cozy. Upon check-out, the service desk even gave me two souvenir soaps, which I believe are a Lhasa specialty, adding a warm and personal touch.

Staying in Lhasa! I don't want to leave!!!! You can even take photos with the Potala Palace right from the hotel!!!! It's truly stunning and perfect for pictures…
Plus, they have 24-hour floor heating and nasal oxygen supply!! I checked in and was full of energy the next day!! The location is also super convenient, right inside Barkhor Street, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple!! The hotel also has a museum and a coffee shop!!! Every morning I woke up to a delicious and varied breakfast with fresh fruit provided by the hotel!! And free ******* clothing rentals and photography!!
What's more, it's the 400-year-old former Nepalese Consulate, so it's incredibly rich in history!!! It's convenient for getting everywhere, I honestly can't find a single fault with it…

Staying at Dongmawa Homestay was definitely the best decision I made on this trip to Tibet!
🏨The location is fantastic! From the rooftop terrace, you can have a complete view of the Potala Palace at night. Having dinner or afternoon tea with friends on the terrace while enjoying the view was incredibly pleasant!
The room amenities are comparable to a five-star hotel! It has a Dyson humidifier and hairdryer. There's also a washing machine with a dryer and a small refrigerator. The diffused oxygen supply helped me sleep soundly without worrying about altitude sickness.
Their breakfast was absolutely amazing—so plentiful! The owner was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and cozy, and the Tibetan-style decor was full of delightful surprises. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lhasa!!

The hotel's location is excellent, close to tourist attractions like the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, and featured smart room controls. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, always ready to meet guests' needs and often greeting us proactively, which was very heartwarming. I'll definitely come back next time.

Satisfactory aspects: The room was nice and had ethnic characteristics; the hotel's location was excellent (we had a travel companion with mobility issues); the service and communication were very satisfactory (there was a third-party system error with another platform regarding room extensions, but the front desk staff were very patient in communicating with them, and the receptionist, Yangji, provided excellent service; the overall service quality was also very good); the breakfast was delicious and we were very satisfied; the room cleaning was also satisfactory.
-- The only unsatisfactory aspect was: the toothbrush bristles were shedding. After rinsing my mouth, 5 or 6 bristles got stuck between my teeth, and I had to stop and pull them out while rinsing. (Bringing your own toothbrush solved this problem.)
-- Suggestion: If possible, if the hotel renovates again, it could add features catering to younger travelers (such as self-service laundry and a self-service bar).
-- There are attractions downstairs, and you can walk to Namased Restaurant. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get around. The attached pictures show nearby attractions and restaurants.

Traveling to Tibet with a friend, I chose this hotel in Lhasa after considering reviews and ratings, and I was pleasantly surprised! It's hands down the best service I've ever experienced in a hotel. The butler contacted us beforehand and arranged for a driver to pick us up from the train station. The clean and comfortable car, along with the offered Hada, immediately made us feel truly welcome. Upon arrival at the hotel, they thoughtfully provided Rhodiola tea to help with altitude sickness.
The Tibetan-style architecture and rooms were clean, grand, and spacious – exactly the hotel style I was looking for. The diffused oxygen and humidifier were already on, ensuring that the two nights here were the most restful and peaceful sleep I had throughout my entire Tibet trip. The room faced Nanshan (South Mountain), and opening the window revealed distant snow-capped mountains and the 'Long Live the Motherland' mountain. Both the morning and night views were stunning. Breakfast was also delicious and diverse, offering Chinese, Western, and ******* options – truly five-star standard. My only regret each day was not having a big enough appetite to try everything. This hotel offers excellent value for money, with convenient transportation, complete facilities, and attentive service. My best friend even praised my choice of hotel, as she, despite having altitude sickness, felt no discomfort in Lhasa thanks to the great rest she got here.

The experience of staying at Verona Hotel this time was great. First of all, the hotel is in a very advantageous location, located in the city center, with convenient transportation, and surrounding attractions and shopping centers. Secondly, the hotel's service quality is very high. Xiaofang, the front desk staff, is warm and friendly, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very quick. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable beds, providing a good rest environment.
Particularly worth mentioning is the hotel's catering service. The breakfast is rich in variety, with fresh ingredients and authentic taste. The environment of the restaurant is also very elegant and comfortable. In addition, the hotel also provides a variety of special services, such as night view tours, special cars to the Potala Palace, Norbulingka, etc. The facilities are very complete, with medical oxygen concentrator humidifiers! Let us maintain a healthy lifestyle during the journey.
Overall, this stay at Verona Hotel was a very pleasant experience. The tour guide arranged by the travel agency on the first floor is very good, and the explanation is wonderful! Both the hotel's hardware facilities and service quality have reached a high standard. We are very satisfied and look forward to staying again next time.
Thank you Verona Hotel for providing us with such a high-quality accommodation experience!

GGuest User[A smart hotel that must be stayed at Lhasa Airport | Lan Ou International Hotel’s second experience, Ctrip’s recommendation is indeed well-deserved! ]
The second time I stayed at Lan Ou Hotel next to Lhasa Airport, I was still amazed by its sense of technology! Booking from Ctrip not only reduced the price directly, but also superimposed the full discount coupon, the cost performance is directly maximized! It is worthy of being a treasure hotel highly recommended by the platform. From entering the door, the room is fully intelligent voice-controlled, and even the curtains can be voice-controlled. The fatigue of the plateau journey is instantly cured by the sense of technology~
✨Highlight experience:
✅Whole house smart system: Xiao Ai Butler is on call 24 hours a day, the lights/air conditioner/TV can be adjusted by moving your mouth, and the humidifier can be voice-controlled in dry weather on the plateau, which is ecstatic for detail control!
✅******* aesthetic design: The thangka murals in the corridor are perfectly integrated with smart devices, and the oxygen supply device in the room is so considerate that you can relieve altitude sickness by lying down.
✅Airport pick-up and drop-off assist: Free airport pick-up and drop-off are on time and efficient, and the butler will also help carry luggage to the boarding gate!
✅Ctrip exclusive benefits: The second visit also upgraded to a deluxe king-size bed room. Super awesome!
Recommended to all travelers flying to Lhasa, close your eyes and don't step on thunder! Next time I come to Lhasa, I will make this place my base~💫

HharbindongdongThis hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The rooms are fully equipped and well-appointed, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. The restaurant on the sixth floor offers a superb view, with the majestic Potala Palace visible right outside. The wagyu beef buffet is a particular highlight – the wagyu 🥩 is of outstanding quality, and the seafood is fresh and delicious. Definitely worth trying!

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
GGuest UserExceptional service from start to finish! The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, helped with our luggage, offered water, and even presented with a Hada (a traditional ******* scarf). They escorted us all the way to our room, and their attitude was incredibly friendly throughout, with no hint of perfunctoriness.
The room features smart controls for lighting and curtains, which was very convenient. But I have to give a special shout-out to the massage chair! It was a lifesaver for soothing aches and pains after a long road trip – they truly understand what guests need. The room was spotless, and the overall environment was very comfortable, making for a truly peaceful stay.
It's clear the hotel puts a lot of thought into its service and details. This kind of experience is something I absolutely have to recommend to all my friends planning trips!
GGuest UserI checked into the hotel on March 28th. I had severe altitude sickness. I saw a reminder on the Ctrip backend that the hotel would start supplying oxygen at 8pm, so I had to buy a few oxygen cylinders myself. There was a problem with the humidifier in the room. The room attendant came in without saying hello, just filled the humidifier with water and left. There was no minimum courtesy or kind reminder to customers about the instructions. There was no training or assessment on weekdays. At 8 o'clock, there was still no oxygen, and my oxygen cylinder had been used up. I called the front desk and she told me that the oxygen supply would start at 8:30. At 8:30, I called her again and she said the technician had gone to open it. At 8:33, she called again and asked me to wait. I arrived directly at 8:37. I questioned the front desk, but they still didn't feel uneasy. I went to the VIP building of Tibet Hotel as a person with altitude sickness. Many other hotels provide oxygen all day long, but they didn't provide oxygen from 8:30 pm to 7 am the next day, which is very unfriendly. I didn't expect that they didn't provide it during the time period and there was no apology. I had a severe headache from altitude sickness and found the front desk to question them. High-quality service should open oxygen for customers in advance and care about their physical condition. This front desk was arrogant and had no sympathy for the customers. Altitude sickness is very dangerous. I accepted such a cold and ruthless service experience of the VIP building of Tibet Hotel when I was extremely uncomfortable. I will never come again! !

GGuest UserWe absolutely fell in love with this hotel - both the room and the overall environment. It is a beautiful hotel and we took loads of photos. Strongly recommending this hotel, especially if you are looking for a comfortable stay and easy travel to tourist destinations. We also recommend the Indian food downstairs as it was delicious. Thank you for the hospitality!
