The hotel is in a very strategic location—right next to the Red House and within walking distance to Jonker Walk. We booked this place to celebrate our little one’s birthday, and he really enjoyed it!
However, the slide next to the bed is quite steep and feels a bit dangerous for young children. We ended up placing a pillow at the bottom to protect him. It’s definitely a fun place for kids, but it can be a bit uncomfortable for adults. I slept on the bottom bunk of the double-decker bed, and even small movements made it quite noisy.
A big shout-out to all the hotel staff—they were great. I mentioned we were traveling with a senior citizen, and they arranged a room close to the lift, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice room for kids and families

Best best option if you are travelling with family. A stone throw away from all the hype at jonker street. Ibis hotel welcomed us with a nice hotel fragrance and the helpful and friendly staff added a lot of value to our entrance.
We were wow by the room's amenities with impressive space and tip top condition. Room is housekeep to a topnotch level. Reallu loving the space and what's even better is that the room comes with bolster! I couldn't never find a hotel that offers that. We felt reluctant to leave as we only stayed a night and slept through the night like a baby. If I were to come back, hotel ibis will definitely be my choice!
Dear Eco Tree Hotel Team,
I stayed at your hotel from 27 June to 28 June, and I want to say thank you for the great experience.
When I first arrived, the room was not very cold, but your helpful and friendly staff came quickly to assist and solved the problem for us. I really appreciate the fast and excellent service.
The room was clean, comfortable, and the location is very convenient. All your staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
I will definitely recommend Eco Tree Hotel to my friends, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Thank you again for the warm hospitality!
Best regards,
Lily

This is our second stay at this hotel. We love the environment, service, and location. It is very homey in many ways. During our second stay, we also noticed the beautiful acrylic art paintings created by talented artists! We highly recommend this hotel to travellers!

I've been commuting between KL and Melaka and out of all the places I’ve stayed, The Apple Suites is my favourite. One major reason is the location, it’s right in the heart of town, making it super convenient to get to Jonker Walk and nearby shops. There are even food stalls just next door.
I’ve tried staying in several of their units including the Premier King Suite, Deluxe Family Suite, and Deluxe 2-Bedroom Suite, all of them were comfortable and satisfying.
Check-in and check-out are always smooth, and the front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. There's also a convenience store inside the apartment building with a self-service system, which is a nice touch.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stays here and will definitely continue to choose The Apple Suites whenever I’m in Melaka.
I recently stayed at the 906 Premier Hotel Malacca from January 31st to February 1st for a vacation. The hotel is conveniently located near the city, just a short walk to many shops and restaurants. Check-in was smooth and quick. The reception staff were welcoming and provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and nearby attractions. Our room was clean, with a comfortable 2 single bed and a stunning view of the place around. The amenities included a kettle, coffee, creamer, sugar, and complimentary toiletries. The staff were always ready to assist with any requests and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Considering the excellent location, and friendly service, I believe the hotel offered great value for money. Overall, our stay at the 906 Premier Hotel was excellent
This was our second time here. All good; hotel staffs were truly attentive, warmth and professional. Room was cozy smells nice and we got new set of towels. They offered early check in as i arrived at 1pm. However, bidet pipe hose in room 303 was leaking severely, made water spillage and splashed everywhere. Cannot poo poo properly, made my attire all getting wet. Appreciate if hotel mngment could fix it asap. Overall tq for the hospitality.

Like the location , accessible to city centre , attractions , staff were helpful and accommodating to my request, and must commend the concierge staff who went extra mile for booking of taxi (my grab bookings were all delayed due to traffic conditions) as I was delayed to catch my coach at another location ! Well done . 👏.

MMTXLStayed here for 2 nights from Monday to Wednesday and we won't be staying here again. Parking space was extremely limited. The ratio to the rooms were completely off. Less than 20 lots available in a hotel with so many rooms and we had to park in the streets. Noise insulation was extremely poor. We stayed in the corner balcony room at the end of the long corridor but we could hear the big groups talking loudly as they took photos at the photo wall. Staffs doing maintenance work in the morning were talking loudly in the morning outside our room, banging doors and slamming things. Other noise include dragging the chairs, foot steps in the room above ours, the renovation noise in the carpark in the morning, motorbikes at night and in the early morning. The room was also dusty and there was a layer of dust on the TV screen and on surfaces. Towels were old, grey in colour from years of using and should have been changed. Toiletries like body wash, shampoo and conditioner was only enough for one person that we ended up buying our own. It is a beautiful hotel but at $170 a night with breakfast, I'll choose to stay at Liu Men which is much better in value, quieter and has ample parking space.

NNurshairahCheck in was smooth.
Room has many things need done after check in. For eg. 1 room has no remote control, no mosquito control, fridge is emitting heat instead of cold air, entrance door got difficulty to push open, room w queen bed (bidet is leaking water when turn on). Maintenence is prompt thankfully, so no complain. Except didn't got chance to inform of the leaking bidet.
Aircon was ok. Not so hot, not so cold. But the cold air don't travel throughout the room, only at specific area.
Breakfast at 8am was so so. Not much variety. Family was looking forward to half boiled egg, but by the time, they want, its gone. The topping up is not haste, in general. Not sure, if it is due to manpower. Nasi lemak not enough lemak. Mee tai bak was bland, curry tasted slight diluted. The rest was ok. The coffee machine drinks are excellent, even tho there is 2 machine, the waiting for the drink takes awhile. Which is understable.
Check out was smooth.
If I'm given a choice to come back. Only for the room as there is privacy. And it's convenient for my mil as she is wheelchaired. As the room is near the lift. Breakfast no.

YYKSee90I recently stayed at Hotel Tamara Melaka for 3 days and 2 nights. While the hotel looked new, clean, and modern from the outside and the lobby area was quite stylish and spacious. Unfortunately, my stay didn’t go entirely smoothly.
🚪 Check-In & First Impressions
The check-in process was fine, and the hotel interior looked polished, with a clean reception area and bright decor. The staff were polite and attentive, which I appreciated.
🚽 The Main Issue: Toilet Smell
However, the biggest issue during my stay was the unpleasant smell coming from the toilet in our initial room. I reported it to the front desk, and they quickly sent housekeeping to clean it thoroughly, which I appreciated. Sadly, even after cleaning, the smell returned later that evening when we came back from dinner.
We requested a room change, but the hotel was fully booked that night. The only available option was a twin bed room, which wasn’t ideal, but we had no choice as the toilet smell was really unbearable. Thankfully, the second room was much better. Clean, no odor, and everything worked as expected. I’m glad the hotel team managed to accommodate our request despite being full.
👍 What I Liked:
• Beautiful, modern lobby and common areas
• Quick response from staff when I raised the issue
• Second room was clean and comfortable
• Nice touches like bright flowers and a decorative trishaw in the lobby
👎 What Could Be Improved:
• First room had serious plumbing/sanitation issues
• It took a room change to solve the problem
• Twin bed instead of a king, not ideal, but understandable due to availability
⭐ Final Thoughts:
Overall, this was not the most pleasant hotel stay due to the room issue. However, I do give credit to the staff for trying their best to help. If maintenance improves and the rooms are better checked before guests arrive, the hotel has good potential.
Rating: 6.5/10
I might consider staying again, but only if I’m assured of a properly maintained room.
SSimchmyThe location is very good as near Jonker street and comes with free parking. However the room's sound insulation is very bad and the room is a bit old. Overall it is good.
GGuest UserFriendly staff during check in and out, location is good with many eateries by walking distance. Breakfast with many selection on local food, the only downside was free parking only available from level 7 & 8, which make it not so convenience.
AAnonymous UserOverall, I can rate the stay as comfort enough, but there was some uneasy feeling because the shower in the bathroom provided not enough water pressure. Slow water tap. It caused the stay some uncomfortable feeling. The breakfast food is the same all the day during my stay, which I think should do a rotation basis, to accommodate the people whom stay longer. Overall, good job.
ZZhi Ming 19The hotel room is clean, comfortable, and well-designed. It offers a cozy bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and modern amenities. A quiet atmosphere, effective air conditioning, and a spotless bathroom enhance comfort. Extras like blackout curtains, good lighting, and secure locks contribute to a safe, restful, and enjoyable stay.
