I had a very pleasant stay at Baba House Melaka and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. I stayed on the ground floor and was pleasantly surprised that there was very little noise disturbance throughout my stay. The air-conditioning was excellent, which was especially appreciated in the hot weather, and the shower experience was fantastic — strong water pressure and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was enjoyable, and the location made it very convenient to call a Grab whenever needed. There were only two minor issues during my stay. I noticed a small area in the corner of the room that appeared to have some leftover sauce residue, possibly from a previous guest, and the bathroom sink drainage was slightly clogged. However, these were relatively minor compared to the overall positive experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Melaka. Thank you to the team for the hospitality!

My stay at this hotel was fairly decent for a short trip. The location was convenient, and I appreciated the free outdoor parking provided for guests. However, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The bedsheet did not seem properly changed, and there was a brownish stain in the middle of the bed, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. There was also an incident during the night when the safety box suddenly started beeping unexpectedly. Thankfully, after calling the front desk, the staff responded very quickly and came to solve the problem professionally, which I appreciated.

Lovely place that maintained its charm. Can work on room maintenance, shower head and water pressure. Otherwise very satisfied with the room. Love Estadia Deluxe Suite more than Estadia Family Suite bcos of the living room area, a lot more usable space. Impressed with the seriousness they have to feedback - one evening, we shared that one of the life button did not work, that lift was closed for maintenance the very next morning. We look forward to the hotel maintaining the facilities and room conditions to better serve guests in comfort!

This was our fifth stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. 1. Check-in The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I had requested a Queen Bed room instead of Twin Beds. However, I was informed that because my booking was made at the last minute (one day before check-in), only a Twin Bed room was available as all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. We accepted the explanation and proceeded with the room provided. 2. Room Condition Upon entering the room, the first issue we noticed was the air conditioning. Despite setting the fan speed to high, the room remained warm and the air conditioner was not cooling properly. 3. Bathroom There appeared to be a blockage beneath the sink, as water was pooling around the sink and toilet area. In addition, the shower holder was broken while we were using the shower. We chose not to complain and continued our stay. 4. Room Door & Bathroom Door The bathroom door could not be closed properly unless it was pulled and pushed firmly. The more serious issue occurred the next morning after breakfast when our room door became stuck and could not be opened. We contacted maintenance, and the team arrived to inspect the problem. From approximately 8:00 AM onwards, we were unable to access our room. Around 8:30 AM, the maintenance team requested approval from the Front Office to move us to another room because the repair would require additional time. However, they informed that changing rooms would incur an additional charge because we were checking out on the same day. I strongly disagree with this decision. From 8:30 AM until our checkout time at 12:00/12:30 PM, we were still paying guests of the hotel. The room issue was caused by a defect on the hotel’s side, and guests should not be charged extra to move rooms due to problems beyond their control. The Most Disappointing Part During check-in, we were informed that no Queen Bed Deluxe Rooms were available. However, while the maintenance team was accessing our room through the connecting room next door, we discovered that the adjacent room was vacant and equipped with a Queen Bed. If the actual reason was that the room was unavailable due to maintenance, it would have been more professional and honest to explain that from the beginning rather than simply saying all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. This experience has left us very disappointed. Every time we visit Melaka, this hotel has always been our preferred choice. However, after this stay, we have decided not to return. I appreciate the hospitality shown by the staff during check-in, but I sincerely hope the hotel will improve both its facilities and service standards. Thank you.

Worth the price. The staff are nice and friendly, and they kindly accommodated our request for a late checkout without any extra charges, which we really appreciated. They r also generous with pillows. For room service, i ordered nasi goreng kampung Morten. it was delicious, except for the sambal belacan which could be improved. Cons: Room slippers are only provided for suite rooms. It would be great if they could provide slippers for all room types, as it’s uncomfortable to walk barefoot on the room carpet

The hotel is conveniently located near the toll, making it easy to access. It is an older property, and the furniture reflects that, but it is still functional. Cleanliness is maintained at a moderate level. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, which adds to the overall experience. The highlight of the stay is the FunPlay water park—kids absolutely loved it and had a fantastic time. The breakfast spread is impressive, with a wide variety of options to choose from.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would likely visit again.

The Apple Premier Suites Melaka – Review Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The unit was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it a good choice for families or longer stays. Having a washing machine and electric cooker was definitely a plus. Do note that there is a mandatory RM150 refundable deposit during check-in. The only downside was that one of the units had an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet, which could probably be due to the drainage system. Other than that, everything else was fine. Overall, it’s a good apartment-style accommodation with convenient facilities and good value for money.

The four night I was in Melaka means I had stayed in a different hotel for 3 nights, and I was very happy the fourth night I stayed at Amanjiwa 99 Residences it was really comfortable, the hotel was spacious the place was lively, clean, the swimming pool was clean, the one who kept the swimming pool was friendly I forgot to ask their names that I wanted to say to the Malay untie also the Indian men they were kind and friendly in conclusion I feel satisfied staying here now I put it on the list recommend to friends and relatives thank you Amanjiwa And there is another good news which is that there is a Mart as well as a restaurant👍

Excellent location with plenty of great food nearby. The huge parking lot out front was a lifesaver for us, coming from out of town – super convenient. Plus, there's a pool where you don't even need a swimsuit! The front desk staff were all really friendly, and the room was spotless. Had a very comfortable stay.

the staff were helpful, and friendly. unfortunately, the hotel facilities not well-maintained. Once we checked in the room, we realised that there was no water supply for our rooms (we booked 2 rooms) at that level. the staff then explained there there were some repair/maintenance going on at the hotel hence the supply was off.. after a few attempts, muddy water came out. they promptly arrange for new rooms for us. as we booked the king size rooms (higher tier, though no highest), we were upgraded to their ”better” and more exp room at highest level.. we were delighted... initially.... when we opened the doors.. both rooms reeks of mouldy smell... we gotta open the window to air the room... the flooring also popping and peeling. The shower area also fell short of expectation. in general, super not well-maintained... and I won't ever stay here again until they refurbish /renovated the whole hotel. good things.. got nice view...very prime location.. next door is the mall.. the bed and bedsheets were very comfy. that's about it.
