I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

I recently stayed at Scapes Hotel Genting for a one-night leisure trip and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, with a relaxing atmosphere that feels slightly away from the busy Genting crowd, which I appreciated. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, suitable for a short getaway. The bed was cozy and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good night’s rest. Basic amenities were well provided, and the overall cleanliness met expectations. One of the highlights was the facilities — especially the swimming pool area, which was well maintained and great for relaxing. The surrounding environment also gives a peaceful resort-like vibe compared to staying directly at the main Genting area. Location-wise, it is slightly away from Genting SkyWorlds and SkyAvenue, so having your own transport or using ride-hailing services makes getting around much easier. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, ideal for a short leisure escape or weekend retreat. I would consider returning again for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.

My recent stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a pleasant and memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel gave a comfortable, modern, and welcoming impression. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk team was professional, helpful, and efficient. Their warm attitude immediately made the stay feel positive, especially after a long journey. The hotel’s overall environment was clean, calm, and well maintained. The lobby had a simple yet elegant design, creating a relaxing atmosphere without feeling overcrowded or overly formal. It is the kind of hotel that feels practical for both business and leisure travellers. The location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby food outlets, shops, and key areas around Kuantan. This made moving around much easier and helped make the short stay more enjoyable. The room was one of the highlights of the stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well arranged. The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable. The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well. Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice. It was a happy and comfortable overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

The residence offers good facilities, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. I was satisfied with the room cleanliness, and the customer service hotline was responsive and efficient whenever assistance was needed. The location is also very convenient. There is a shopping mall located downstairs, and guests can easily access Genting Highlands via the linked bridge, which takes only about 20 minutes on foot. However, the check-in experience was disappointing. We had to wait more than one hour to check in, and there was no prior notice regarding the delay. Upon arrival, guests were required to take a queue number and wait, which made the process even longer and more frustrating. Better planning, staffing, and communication during peak periods would greatly improve the guest experience. Another concern I was also unhappy was the service attitude of the manager, Kenny. His communication came across as rude and unprofessional, which made an already frustrating situation worse. A manager should be able to handle guest concerns professionally and respectfully. I hope the management will provide additional customer service training to improve service standards. Overall, while the location, facilities, room cleanliness, and customer support were positive aspects of the stay, significant improvements are needed in check-in efficiency, communication, and staff professionalism. With these improvements, the overall guest experience would be much better.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room and overall environment were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. The location is also very convenient — within around 15 minutes’ drive to popular attractions such as Kea Farm, Agro Market, and Cameron Valley. It is also located right next to Tokyo Town, making it easy to find food and shops nearby. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The toilet space is relatively small, which may feel a bit cramped for some guests. In addition, although free-flow drinking water from Cuckoo is provided, guests need to walk out to the corridor near the lift to collect it, which can be slightly inconvenient. Overall, it is still a good stay considering the cleanliness and strategic location.

Loveeeeee love this hotel! Though it’s a bit high rise and need to be there at least before night time, for me i’m very happy to be surrounded by nature, the services are top notch then they upgrade us for a better room due to early check in and based on availability. The breakfast are pretty decent but the pastries options are very nice!

My friend and I each got a king room. Overall, the service and the hotel's garden design were excellent. The price is quite a good value for a villa-style resort of this caliber. There are gardeners maintaining the flowers and plants every day, creating a beautiful 'step-by-step changing scenery' effect. The only minor downside is that some facilities are a bit old, but any issues we raised were immediately resolved. The front desk staff had a slight accent, but for anyone who understands English, communication was perfectly fine. There's a private beach area upfront where you can relax and watch the sea, which was a really nice touch. There are also cute little cats in the courtyard that will interact and play with you.

The unit is very comfortable, beautiful, and clean, easily accommodating a family of 5 with 2 large beds and 1 small bed. The sofa is also comfortable. There are qibla direction signs, prayer garments, and prayer mats provided. The pool is spacious and close to a beautiful beach. Will definitely repeat!

VVivienleeys96I stayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient—about 7 minutes from Awana Resort and around 20 minutes to SkyAvenue. There are also plenty of shops nearby where you can dine or pick up daily essentials, which made things very convenient. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the lifts were fast, so getting to the unit was easy. The unit itself is very spacious, especially for a couple, which made the stay comfortable. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. It would be great if the unit provided a kettle or a water filter for added convenience. Also, the water heater took quite a long time to warm up, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak. Overall, aside from these minor issues, everything else was very good and I would say it’s definitely worth the price.

44lilAIStayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands recently after almost 8 years since my last visit, and honestly, it feels like there has been little to no improvement over time. The hotel is starting to feel quite old and outdated. Cleanliness could definitely be improved as the room felt a bit dusty, and the toilet was not properly clean during our stay. Basic hotel conveniences were also lacking — no carpet, slippers were not readily prepared in the room and had to be requested, and the iron is still placed outside the room instead of being provided inside. What disappointed me most is that despite having so many newer competitors around Cameron Highlands, the hotel does not seem to be putting much effort into maintaining or upgrading the overall quality and experience. The breakfast was also not worth the additional cost. The selection was very basic, and even the coffee quality was below expectations. Overall, the location is still decent, but the hotel seriously needs refurbishment and better maintenance to stay competitive in the area.

GGuest UserPlease see the details of my experience below: Incomplete Check-In & Luggage Handling: I reached the hotel lobby around 11:00 AM to check in and provided my NRIC and phone number to the receptionist for verification. Because the room was not ready yet, I told her it was fine, left my baggage with her, and requested her help to bring it up to the room once it was ready. I then rushed to catch the shuttle bus to the theme park. Delayed Evening Check-In & Unsecured Baggage: When I arrived back at the lobby around 10:00 PM expecting to simply collect my room keys, a different receptionist took more than 15 minutes to process my check-in all over again. During this time, he also faced a printer failure while trying to print my breakfast vouchers for the next day. Furthermore, I noticed my baggage was still left out in the open area of the lobby. Lack of Urgency at Front Desk: While waiting for my late check-in, the phone at the front counter rang continuously for more than 10 seconds. Only one staff member finally answered it, while three other staff members just stood there daydreaming. As a waiting guest, I personally felt quite irritated watching the front desk phone ring for so long without being answered. Poor Staff Attitude: When I asked what time breakfast was served, the staff member replied, ”It's standard lah... 7:30 AM till 10:30 AM,” as if I were a barbarian who had never stayed in a hotel before asking a dumb question. Their attitude felt like I don't care. Disregarded Guest Request: Because I was too exhausted to continue waiting for the breakfast voucher to print, I requested that the staff deliver it to my room later by simply slipping it under the door. However, when staff member came to deliver it, he still pressed the doorbell, unnecessarily disturbing my rest. Confusing Service Design & Layout: The hotel room lifts are quite complicated to reach from the lobby. The receptionist merely pointed and told me to ”go straight and turn right.” Carrying my own baggage, I went straight, turned right, had to make a U-turn, and kept asking around before finally finding the room lift. It felt like a treasure hunt, banging around here and there until I finally reached it. I am not sure if your service design is intentionally meant to handle customers this way. Room Cleanliness Issues: The room itself was quite dusty. I could clearly see hair and dirt on the bedsheets. There was also some black substance inside the fridge, to the point where I did not dare put any of my drinks inside. Overall, the hotel is quite nice physically considering the age of the hotel. It just really needs to improve its service culture, staff training, and cleanliness standards.

陈心妍This hotel in Tanah Rata is great! The environment is lovely and quiet, and the service is decent. The rooms are spacious too. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Starbucks and a Family Mart, which is really convenient. I loved it so much after staying for three days at the end of March that I came back for another night in April!
