4-Star Hotels in Finnmark, Norway

The hotel is located in the city center with many restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. If the weather is good, like when I was there, you can even see the aurora by walking just 300m from the hotel. The hotel manager, who is Filipino, is very humble and friendly, and patiently explained about the surrounding area. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel. If you plan to do activities like aurora hunting or a king crab safari, you can be picked up and dropped off right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient.

The hotel staffs are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great with diff drink and food variety. Kirkenes is a very small city so there is only 1 small shopping mall 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. Not much to see and shop. Many restaurants closed at weekend and the hotel room itself is simple with no surprise.

Feels budget, standard business type hotel, room does not have kettle and reception originally said there are none left, and to get hot water from the machine downstairs (bring it cup by cup) Until the wife made a reasonable but firm request to sort it, then reception went around other rooms and found us one. Parking is 150kr per day as of writing, even though there are plenty of space. Don't think it is a 4 star as claimed, max 3.

Alta is a small city. The hotel is in the center of the city. The car is opposite the central station. Next to it is the only shopping mall in the city. There are supermarkets and some restaurants. It is rare to have a Chinese restaurant. The taste is not bad. It is a bit salty. After all, it is the north... The hotel has 6 floors. Basically the tallest building... The window of our room is facing the Northern Lights Church. On New Year's Eve, we also see a lot of fireworks far and near... The hotel is chained, the room is not small, especially the bathroom, the facilities design is very reasonable, the boxes and clothes have places to put... Breakfast is this Two weeks in Nordic best, especially roasted small potatoes...recommended!
