had a pleasant stay! managed to get our room early with no added charges & loved that the lifts always came fast~ airconditioning in the room also worked well. location was great! only 10 mins stroll to the massive Ayala Center Mall which has so many things & always took less than 1 min to secure a Grab from the hotel to get around Cebu City the staff also always helped us get the door & our luggages, thank you Mandarin Plaza!

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Mactan and were very happy with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Mactan Newtown, where there are plenty of food options, restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a simple cake for us, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little touch that made the celebration more special. Another great thing is that guests can enjoy access to the pool and beach in Mactan Newtown, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

The island was beautiful and we really loved the place. However, I was disappointed with the drone policy. Even though I already had a permit, drone flying was only allowed in one specific area, which did not feel safe because it was surrounded by water. It would be better to provide safer and more flexible flying locations for visitors with approved permits.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

This stay was truly perfect for a family trip ❤️ The hotel is right on the beachfront, with comfortable and clean surroundings. Opening the window reveals an endless sea view; just relaxing in the hotel is a treat. What I loved most was the hotel's diverse swimming pools. Both adults and kids can find their favorite way to have fun. Swimming and playing in the water during the day, then strolling along the beach in the evening—it's pure vacation mode 🌊 Dining is also super convenient. They used to offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you hardly needed to make special plans to enjoy the whole day at the hotel. In the evening, you could even head to the bar for Happy Hour, enjoy a drink, and feel the sea breeze—so relaxing. For a family vacation, I think the most important things are convenience, cleanliness, and comfort, ensuring both adults and kids have a great time.

Location wise, this is pefect. You can just take any public transport and you are there when you get off. The staff are very well trained, very nice and very polite. Everything looked very clean and even if the hotel is not that big, they had a badminton/volleball courts. There is enough beach front to walk around. For a Lapu-lapu beach, their beach is clean enough as well. They had plenty of covered lounge couches to enjoy beach front even under the sun. The pool is small but it feels clean. We paid an extra ₱ 500 to get the ”upgrade” for the ocean view and it was our biggest mistake causing us to lose sleep. Apparently, the room assigned to us was part of an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. We can hear everything happening in the other room and unfortunately the couple in the other room were going at it very loudly (the girl was shouting) until around 5 in the morning. We don't recommend the breakfast buffet as well especially if you are paying the extra ₱1,100 for another person. Very few choices, very salty meat dishes and we don't know exactly what caused it but we had a stomachache after breakfast.

The sea view room offers an incredible view – open the window and you're greeted by a stunning blue ocean and sky! The hotel staff are really thoughtful, and there are plenty of facilities for families. The hot spring pool is perfect for relaxing. The nearby hiking trails are absolutely beautiful, and enjoying a seafood feast on the terrace for dinner made for a perfect vacation! I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

I would like to raise a concern regarding our stay on May 15. On the morning of May 15, we woke up to find that the floor was extremely wet, and we also noticed that a large area of the ceiling was wet, which strongly suggests there may have been a water leak. This situation was very concerning and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. In addition, the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy, which seriously disturbed our sleep. Our friend staying in another room experienced the same issue with the air-conditioning noise as well. We will be staying at your hotel again tomorrow, and we are worried that the same problems may happen again. Could you please arrange for your staff to inspect these issues as soon as possible and ensure that our room for the next stay will be in good condition, with no leakage and a quiet air-conditioning unit? We loved the hotel’s amenities and the buffet breakfast. One thing we truly appreciated was the cleanliness of the room, especially the fresh, clean-smelling bed linens. It’s always comforting to sleep and wake up knowing the bed is spotless and well-maintained. The only downside for us was the lack of nearby restaurants. Whenever we wanted to try something different from the hotel’s food, we had to order through GrabFood. We also hope the beachfront can be better maintained. It would be much more enjoyable if the beach were cleaner, with less seagrass, so guests could comfortably swim and make the most of the beautiful location. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend this place for families and groups of friends. It’s a great destination for a relaxing getaway.

I had a pleasant stay at Savoy Hotel Mactan Cebu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with any requests. The hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well-maintained, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although adding more local dishes would make it even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travellers.
