Facilities: The facilities are decent, not super new but comfortable enough for a stay.
Service: I stayed for three nights, and each time I rang for housekeeping, no one showed up. I had to go and ask for the room to be cleaned once myself.
The security guard assumed my friend and I were Korean and greeted us in Korean, which felt a bit uncomfortable to be honest.
Environment: It was probably peak season, as the hotel was very crowded. The beach was okay, just very busy and noisy. The burger place downstairs was delicious.
Stayed here for 4 nights. It was lovely except for the aircon which is connected to the sliding door that whenever you open the door, the aircon will automatically turn off haha but the food was great! Location wise, very near to Panglao airport and one tricycle ride from the city centre. Staffs were helpful and accommodating.
Our overall stay in Holabay Resort was truly relaxing and worth it. All staff were very accomodating and efficient to all our requests which really made us feel valued as guests. And the POOL, t’was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!Kudos!!!👏👏👏💯💯💯✅ ✅ ✅

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in savoy, though the rooms are not that spacious, but enough to move around with luggages, the food is also tasty, everyday they have different menus, the amenities and the view, on the 18th floor is wow...you can see the landscape of cebu by day and by night..memorable indeed..we enjoyed our pool and beach time too.. we will definitely come back again, all the staffs are so nice and polite..special thanks to the feont desk Jeremy, we enjoyed our last 2 nights stay because of him.

The hotel’s location is accessible to public bus transport going to SM City Cebu and just walking distance to South Bus Terminal station. Taboan market is also a walking distance as well as the colon night market and food hub.
Room is spacious and clean!
Staff are polite and accommodating!
Breakfast food arr geat!
The only downside is the wifi. Wifi is weak, we were not able to use it.
All in all, we had a great time staying in this Hotel. We’ll surely book here again!
Highly recommended!

I had an overall pleasant stay at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel. The service was excellent, staff were courteous, attentive, and always willing to help. The location is also very convenient, especially for shopping and dining, and the atmosphere of the hotel is generally welcoming.
However, the amenities and the room itself felt quite outdated. The furnishings and fixtures could use modernization, and some areas showed signs of wear. While everything was functional and clean, the room did not fully match the expectations set by the hotel’s reputation.
Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with great service and location, but updating the rooms and amenities would significantly improve the guest experience.
It's something on magic! When we went there - I immediately realized that something is wrong! Somehow not in the Philippine! So it turned out that the owners are the Russian family that has long lived on the Philippines - divers.
The rooms are clean, clean every day.
The kitchen is the most delicious and diverse. The dessert is mega cool, so missed it in the Philippines.
Massage - super price and quality.
On 20 hundred guys made a very comfortable little cozy resort. Super cool here for divers.y
A good clean pool, a finger-sized area, a finger-sized beach, a beautiful reef - you can porn and immediately see a turtle.
In general, very recommend!
Good place to stay but we are hoping they would be able keep up with the quality of service Solea Mactan is giving.
We appreciate the birthday surprise and nice room view.
Breakfast is just okay. Not so wide selection but will make you full. We loved the cookies.
Our stay at Only Seeds Resort was relaxing and enjoyable. The highlight of the resort is definitely the swimming pool—clean, well-kept, and perfect for both kids and adults. We spent a lot of time lounging by the pool and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
The rooms were cozy and neat, with a nice touch of local design. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The resort's atmosphere is quiet and ideal for unwinding.
If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay with a beautiful pool, I highly recommend Only Seeds Resort. It’s a great spot for a weekend getaway.
The hotel is brand very clean, staff are very helpful. Breakfast food is juat okay, lots to choose from. The tsokolate was so yummy, that's the best drink in the breakfast..

BBubbleChimpGood for experienced divers but not for new divers, solo travellers, relaxing beach time or a deluxe experience even though it was £200+ a night so I did not think it was good value.
For me it was just the wrong choice and I didn't do enough research. The main disappointment comes down to me basing my expectations on the price instead of the 3 star rating. I haven't paid that much for a hotel before and usually go for 4 or 5 star places so I just don't understand the pricing, maybe that's just how it is in the Philippines. The staff and service are good, breakfast and the room are ok, spa and diving are the good amenities so it might be the diving location which warrants the price.
Lunch and dinner are good. I recommend the honey yoghurt muesli with mango and the chicken salad (with a dressing) for breakfast. Everything I had on the lunch/dinner menu was great - the tom kha gai soup, Dorado, burger, curry etc all good. Small range of beers and cocktails available but cocktails were good too.
The room and bathroom are fine for 3 star standards. There is termite stuff falling from the wood beams and dead moths or similar insects on shelves which did not get cleaned away.
The Swedish massage was good, I recommend Gail. The shiatsu was painful and pinched my skin so she switched to Swedish. The pool is murky and not enticing to swim in, lots of mozzies around it too.
I much preferred the beach and water conditions further down at Dauin. I like to relax on a nice beach and swim etc. that's where the great snorkeling is too. But the water at Atlantis is too rough and windy and the beach too narrow.
Although the dive masters are great for leading dives and probably for the other diving skills, I wouldn't recommend getting your open water certificate here especially if you're at all nervous about it. There were some differences with the SSI videos like being able to practise boat entry in the pool first and using a snorkel that I would have preferred what with the condition of the water there. The beach, water and entry conditions are so much better 20-30min down the beach at Dauin, Bongo Bongo beach. I managed to earn my open water and it was the reason for this trip but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I watched the divers enter at Dauin quite jealously.
Considering you can do 4-5 dives a day here plus a day for Apo island, I think 3-4 days here would be perfect.
The hotel tour prices were a bit more expensive than others I found and they do not arrange joiner tours so as a solo traveller, their tours were prohibitively expensive. For some reason there were no joiner tours available outside the hotel either, I don't know if that's because of the season (jan-feb) or that's usual for the Philippines but it's the first time I've experienced that in my travels.
The tour to Apo Island is good and well arranged. The only thing is as a snorkeler you have to wait until after lunch to get to the shallow turtle area but it was great and a benefit of going with the hotel is you leave on their boat right from the hotel, no need to drive to the ferry.
JJan MoreThe staff were so nice and accommodating. They truly cared for us when the earthquake happened on the night we were sleeping in our rooms. We used the stairs from the 5th floor post incident fearing for the aftershocks…we all stayed by the under renovation pool to stay away from the building in case it collapsed. The building swayed so much with the 6.9 magnitude..it was scary. The staff were calm and kept us all comfortable despite being scared themselves too. They helped us all moved to the 2nd floor after midnight post safety inspection.
GGuest UserThe staff is great from doorman, check-in to breakfast/restaurant. Very friendly and warm. They treat you with sincere respect. The rooms are very clean with amenities and towles never missing.
For breakfast, they offer a wide range of food and variety. I didn't get tired even after 4 breakfasts.
Location is awesome, too. Basically attached to the mall, every kind of food (Jollibee to yakiniku and high-end pancake place) is within 3-5 minute walking distance. Sugbo Mercado is 3 minutes away on foot. Simply the best in the area.
JJacksuttonEasily one of the best holiday inn’s I’ve ever stayed in! Really clean and attentive staff! Also some of the best baked goods that can be found in the lobby at their crème cafe.
MMPBCGood place to stay but we are hoping they would be able keep up with the quality of service Solea Mactan is giving.

JJesse AcasoI'm kinda disappointed in my stay here because the fact that I compared this branch with Panglao branch, so i was expecting the same amenities. The service were the same all smiles to all the customers but I'm disappointed for the amenities because my room doesn't have hot shower and the building needs for detailed upgrade. I booked on this building as I was hoping it's newly renovated the place was new however some furniture way outdated and needs a more thorough upgrade. Love the earth restaurant still 🩷🧡💛
BBaimajunzai2000Facilities: Hot water shower and air conditioning are good. But there are no other facilities in the room, no kettle, no hair dryer. You need to bring your own kettle, or go to the front desk to get a cup and pour water.
Hygiene: The room is cleaned every day, but the swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. I don’t know how to maintain it, so I didn’t dare to go to the swimming pool. Fortunately, it’s close to the sea, so you can just swim in the sea.
Environment: Both entering and exiting require a long and rugged road. Close to the sea, you can go snorkeling. It's just a hotel, without any star-level services provided, and there is a service fee charged at the end. It is incorrect to list it as a top-ranked local four-star hotel on Ctrip. There should be more options.
Service: Unlike the diving shops in Bohol, there is no safety officer here. We took part in the snorkeling activity, because we went with divers, the guide was not very enthusiastic. There is no introduction leaflet for the event to refer to.
However, it is indeed convenient to go to see the sardines. You can just take a boat and join the activity to get there. No need to go around town.
Special reminder: this fee is not deducted by Ctrip, you need to pay in cash at the store. There is a reminder in the order, please be sure to bring enough cash.
MMPBCWe really enjoyed our stay here. Solea Mactan is far from the city but everything you need is in the hotel already. We loved how they value those families traveling because they have a play area for kids and kids at heart. There are also lots of swimming pools although I think the beach area could be better. They also have these freebies which we really appreciated. Breakfast was also good!
