⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Comfort and Service at an Amazing Value!
I had an outstanding stay at Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel in Puerto Princesa. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay.
The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan.
One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive.
Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa.
I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. Whether for business or leisure, it’s the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and Filipino hospitality. I’ll definitely stay here again!
Wonderful hotel!!! The service, cleanliness, food, and activities were all top-notch! The hotel offers lovely complimentary touches like free lemon tea in the fridge, a bag, a scarf, and local coffee. In the evenings, they bring pastries to your room. The coconut balls are absolutely amazing! During the day, there are free snacks and refreshing drinks. There's also a happy hour – buy one cocktail, get one free. We experienced the dinner buffet, which was excellent! You can even try their famous suckling pig. Breakfast offers something for every taste! There's also a restaurant on the second floor with incredibly large and delicious dishes.
The hotel's massage service was also great; you can choose between a 1-hour or 1.5-hour session.
They offer free bicycles and boats. Definitely take a boat ride; you might spot sea urchins, starfish, and small fish. You can use the bikes to explore the town.
The gym is excellent, with everything you need, plus air conditioning, towels, and water!
The pool is clean, and the water temperature is very comfortable.
Archery is also free.
Swimming from the shore in the sea can be a bit challenging as it's very shallow, but you can take a boat out to deeper water for a swim.
And the sunrises here are incredibly beautiful!
If you want to visit the underground river or other attractions, you can arrange a tour and rent a car at reception. It might be more expensive than in town, but you save a lot of time.
We rented a car and drove to the beach ourselves. It was an hour's scenic drive, and you're there. They even provided us with a bag of beach towels for the trip.
During our 4-day stay, we never felt any discomfort; everything here is designed for guests. The staff are the most smiling and responsive! We will definitely return to this hotel chain again!!!
Thank you!
This hotel was initially a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms through Trip for adults and the kids. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that one of the rooms had been cancelled and we only had one room. All my bookings were still showing in the Trip app so neither myself or Trip had cancelled anything. I contacted Trip and they were excellent and worked very hard, but unsuccessfully to get our room back...
It was absolutely peak season and the room had been given to someone else. We were able to book a room Westown 2 nights later so the kids ended up staying at the hotel and us adults, luckily were able to find another hotel for 2 nights and then moved back to Westown hotel. When this issue occurred, I felt we were treated incredibly poorly by the hotel. They made it clear... If you book through a third party booking agency, the issue is with you..not our problem... Considering most of their bookings are probably through third parties, this attitude is poor.
Once we moved back into the hotel for the remaining 3 days, the hotel facilities were good. Swimming pools were good. There was a cafe, couple of restaurants, and small gym.
Location was 10 mins on a tricycle into the centre of town and there were always tricycles available.
A shuttle was available to and from the airport.
Negatives were as follows:
- Hotel saying we cancelled one of our rooms even though we hadn't. Kids had to stay by themselves in the hotel.
- Hotel didn't care less about us because we made the booking through a 3rd party.
- Disappointing that probably 50% of the menu foods were not available in the Filipino restaurant while we were there...usual excuse of supplier issues was always given.
Great service . They are always friendly and helpful.
Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels .
And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money.
Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel.
But for sure I will go back there
White Breeze was a great stay, the staff were lovely and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile :)
Breakfast was worth the extra few pounds and it also provides free filtered water.
However the location was quite remote but they can call a tricycle for you which is roughly 150 pesos to get to the centre.
we choose the ground floor for our rooms . chk in 4 different times and f/desk was awesome. (Would be nice to be recognizedby the name since we chk in 4 times in a span of 9 days.all our booking were online. Friendly staff and clean rooms. restaurant was great .good selection. Would love to see papaya, pineapple, mango fruits , pandasal consistently on the bufffet offering.
first room114 aircon is noisy. rm 116 rm aircon is way less . Clean rooms. Patio had one chair. would be nice to have two chairs and a table for morning coffee , and pm drinks . Roof top swimming pool and bar n food was great. Chk out the 3-6 happy hours for cocktail.
great selection of good drinks . spa was ok.
Really nice resort only 10min away from the port by Tuc Tuc. The room very clean and with all the essentials for the staying. My room wasn’t exactly view on the pool as expected so I would have to say a little bit overpriced. Nice breakfast. They arranged me an half day tour of the main spots in Coron and they were really flexible. The only thing that often happens to me travelling solo is that at pool bar for lunch I asked half portion of a serving because it was meant to be for 2/3 people (in the Philippines they often have family sharing portions) but they said it wasn’t possible that they could serve me half portion but the price would’ve been the same and I found that annoying. Other than that they offer shuttle bus to the airport and everything else was as good as in the pictures!
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. Our arrival experience was very welcoming. The room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. However, we found the pool to be a bit dirty during our stay, so we didn’t try it.
Over all we enjoyed our stay and we really liked the vibes in the evening in the restaurant the live bands are really good singers.
We really enjoy the stay. Natuwa din kami dahil the receptionist is a muslim in hijab.
The foods are okay. The pool we really enjoy it. And our room with a nice view so relaxing.
We will surely be back.
Just want to feedback regarding to their bedsheet. No so comfortable. Grabe na himulmol ang gaspang na nya sa feeling huhu. Just noticed when were about to sleep. Di na napa palitan sa staff since late night na.
Aside from that oks na. Friendly staff, super quiet place! Ang layo sa magulong mundo hihi

Amazing
KKnoxxxIt's a nice and hotel with very good in room facilities, we stayed in the ground floor room which open up into some beautiful views of the gardens. Plenty of space and has nice feel to it. It's located about 10-15 minute shuttle out of the town centre of el nido, the hotel provides free return shuttles at all times of the day and night which is really helpful. Lio beach where the hotel is situated is also quite nice with multiple restaurant options and convention store just outside the hotel. We had the breakfast each morning which you can have delivered to your room or sit out in the dining area to eat, the food was amazing with a good sized serving, I would recommend this to anyone staying here (only 1000 pesos so good price as well) The team of staff at Piece Lio go over and above to help out wherever they can. - thank you peice Lio we will be back!
LLunate sigmaHonest Review
Pros:
- The lady who was in charge (We think she's the manager) is really nice and helpful.
- Distance: THIS WAS THE ULTIMATE DEAL. Hotel is near the beach and most of the local restaurants so we didn't experience any problem. (I recommend the cafe and 'Terminal' near the beach 😊)
- AC and the room was perfect. It was really hot outside and the temp plus the room felt really homey and comfy
- The hotel was really pretty or what we call aesthetic. My baby really liked the designs
- Free breakfast and coffee was a good deal, but don't expect too much.
- How much we got the reservation for 3d2n. Great offer from this app :)
- Staff are nice especially the ones in the restaurant. Wasn't able to ask her name but she was a waiter there and also served our food (afternoon) and the guy who was at the front desk when we checked out
Cons:
- Service fee. I do understand that this is necessary to support the staff, but if you are on a tight budget it might be better to eat outside (sorry...)
- Food was too expensive for the quality and the quantity... I recommend the chicken inasal since it had a big portion.
- Room service and cleanliness - Manager said we could ask for a room service and we could just call them of we need one. We called them on our second day and we waited until our stay ended but no onr came to clean 😅 The girl who answered the phone was kinda masungit or maybe it was the tone of her voice. She told me that they are quiet busy at the moment and told me to just wait - I do understand if they're short staffed or something? But the dirt was kinda bothering us already so we just tried to clean the room on our own
- Cockroaches and ants. So in connection to my previous review... Yes, there are cockroaches in the room especially the bathroom. It doesn't help that they don't clean the rooms daily.
- Breakfast is not a room service. You have to go down to the restaurant and eat it there.
- Room view. Our room was in the corner of the hotel. Our view was okay because we are can view the pool... And our neighbors ac unit lmao. On the plus side since the units were emitting hot air, it was easier for us to dry our towels 😂 It was really different from the picture.
- Pool was kinda dirty
- Overpriced goods. They have a mini store in the hotel but it would be better to pack up snacks or drinks before coming here.
- OUTSIDE FOOD ARE NOT ALLOWED. Better be careful when bringing meals in the hotel.
Even after listing this, we would still love to come back and stay here. I do hope they give us a better room next time 😅
GGuest UserMantiloc resort is a paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a unique spot this place is for you. The staff are so kind and helpful, they make it an amazing stay. The half day boat trip is also well worth it and one of the best parts of our trip.
The menu could do with being expanded, with more vegetarian and vegan options. Also a barista coffee option would make it perfect., though a nespresso machine was a available upon request
GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation.
A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal.
The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!
GGuest UserA hidden paradise!
Located in a kinda secluded and very peaceful brgy, this beautiful work of art resort saved us from being grumpy after getting stuck in the middle of typhoon.
Staff and their service was above and beyond. With their warm smile and accommodating nature, we couldn’t be happier. We thought they’re the best part addition to this place!
Facility - top tier! Every thing was well thought, from the details to your needs, name it and its there.
Food was good and every day they offer different breakfast selections and wow! Delish!
Pool bar is a great touch too and the cocktails esp the sangria was delicious!
We’re travellers and this is the first time we fell inlove with a resort. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back next year with our family!
Thank you so so much Carpe Diem! You made our vacation very very special and unforgettable!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a small road, about a 15-20 minute walk from the busiest street. It's a short distance from Zuri. I've stayed at both and each has its pros and cons. The view is still good, and breakfast is decent. The Wi-Fi is mediocre and disconnects frequently. It has its own pier, which is great for watching the sunset. However, it's easy to accidentally end up in a room near the chicken coops; those chickens really crow day and night. I asked the front desk if I could change rooms, but they said they were fully booked. Luckily, Trip.com was very helpful and arranged a room a bit further away, so I finally didn't have to listen to chickens crowing in the middle of the night.

NNicole TeodoroMy husband, my best friend and I all enjoyed our stay at Casalay for 5D4N! The place was gorgeous! The staff were all friendly and accommodating + the view, ambiance and tranquility was top notch.
We loved how there are tuktuk services besides the boat to the pier and other areas of interest! It was our first trip to Puerto G and we would recommend staying at Casalay to our friends/anyone who asks! I love how the complimentary breakfast menu had a wide array of sections to choose from and I managed to try different meals every day.
The resort is nearer to Sabang beach (approx. 10-15 mins ride), whereas White Beach is a little further (30 mins or so) but definitely worth the visit. We also did our island hopping and ate to our heart's content ☺️
My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays in Casalay, and the team went above and beyond to make our day extra special.
I would love to thank the team for making sure our requests were attended to and I hope that we see them again the next time we visit, we will definitely stay again when we visit Puerto G! Thank you Casalay for making our stay and my birthday a memorable one 🙌🏽
GGuest UserThis hotel is situated slightly back from the beach bars which are only a few minutes stroll away. Its on a busy road and traffic noise can be heard from the apartments that face the road, ear plugs are provided both traffic did die down late evening.
The rooms are spacious and clean with air-conditioning, they do not have an elevator but bags were taken up by the porters who gave a great service.
The staff are very helpful and polite, go that extra step to help you, they have a nice bar and good seating area with some seating along side the swimming pool.
Break fast was good with plenty of choice with Ann egg station to where you could order your desired omelet.
Wifi was also qood with plenty of plugs down stairs in the lounge.
The beds were comfy but made a clattering noise when changing sleeping position, its only my opinion but to me the pillows were too large, would preferred slimmer pillows.
I would recommend this hotel if your going to stay in El Nido, great location not near any boom boom bars the are alive till the early morning, what our stay at this hotel special was the staff that made our stay most welcome and all being on first name terms.
