WWas there already in the 1980sVery friendly staff, committed to give the best service to their guests. We intentionally booked Nacpan as a location (instead of El Nido center) to have a more relaxed atmosphere. Totally happy to stay at Nacpan Beach Villa as one resort of equal review a step further north had blaring music the whole day. The facilities are clean and modern, the amenities good, the equipment easy to handle. The beach is clean(!), no garbage, no plastic(!) - please keep it that way. Really incomparably clean, meaning: even if you dig with your feet in the seabed, no junk comes up (Nusa Dua - best beach in Bali - did not pass this test).

MMariaSWPiece Lio was a perfect choice!!! Amazing area, exceptional service and the room was better than we expected. We were very pleasantly surprised. Before choosing this hotel I read some reviews about not the best food options. I am not sure if they changed something but for food options we were offered only continental or English breakfast that was cooked for us fresh and was very good. Too much food if you ask me. We never finished it all. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the beach. We had the best time there!

JJustUsExploringWe stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

GGuest UserNice hotel with good rooms. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to have a very relaxed policy for its guests. In the restaurant, a man can walk in and eat with a sweaty upper body, and the staff won't say anything. If there's a party with young people at the pool, with shouting and a lot of drinking, the staff also don't intervene. It's a real shame for the class such a hotel normally projects.

GGuest UserThis resort was a treat for us as we'd just been on a 4 day sailing tour with basic accommodation. Everything was very comfy and it was great to have multiple food options (3 restaurants and casual bites at the pool bar) when we didn't feel like leaving the resort or room (room service available).
The pool was maintained constantly, the jetty behind the resort was fab to watch the sunset, and the lights in the trees were a nice touch at night.
The staff are abundant and helpful, although we did get woken up a couple of times in the morning by staff chatting and slamming doors in the neighbouring rooms.
I will say that we had a room a little bit away from the main areas, on the top level, so I'm not sure how I'd do in a room closer to the action.
The wifi cuts in and out but I didn't come across amazing connectivity the entire trip so I think it's to be expected.
The distance to town is walkable but there are a couple of steep hills (a tuktuk is cheap enough and the hotel staff can call one for you when needed).
Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. They treated us like family and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish.
The cooking was excellent — every meal was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The seafood was especially amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and served with care we very love the steam fish. Big thank you for the chef 10/10,dining by the beach while enjoying the view made the experience even more special.
The room design was modern, with touches of tropical style that made it feel warm and relaxing. The large windows and balcony offered stunning views of the beach and ocean — waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of crystal-clear water was simply magical. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
We also appreciated how well-maintained and spotless everything was. The staff made sure our room was always tidy and fresh, and they were quick to assist with any requests. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with good water pressure and quality toiletries provided.
Aside from the food and service, the island itself is absolutely stunning. With its crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and peaceful atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and take beautiful photos. Whether you’re visiting for a day tour or staying overnight, Matinloc Island offers the perfect mix of beauty, comfort, and hospitality.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nice, the room was big, we did switch room on second day for better view. The hotel was literally at 100% occupancy. The housekeeping was very efficient and so is the repair team. The location is very remote with not much around, so if you want to just relax, swim, and read a book, this is the perfect location. The hotel has a restaurant, a pool bar, a spa, a 24 hours gym, a pickle ball court, a large outdoor pool, and direct access to beach. On the positive side, the staff are so nice, very friendly, attend to your needs very efficiently. Honestly, I am super impressed that my room is always clean on time, there are always clean towels at the pool, this is extremely challenging for a fully booked hotel, which also was hosting a wedding and a conference during Valentine’s Day weekend and Chinese new years at the same time. On the negatives side, the carpet was dirty in both rooms, the AC was leaking and the toilet seat was broken, both were fixed right away. Because it is remote, we ate most of our meals in the hotel. The F&B program was not very well designed, options were limited for both breakfast and dinner buffet; after 3 days it feels a little like eating canteen food. Both my son and husband had salad on first day, while I only ate cooked food, so they were both pretty sick for the rest of the stay. Meanwhile, the operation team at the restaurant was clearly not ready for full occupancy, any order could easily take ＞45 mins and many local dishes were not available for days because lacking of LOCAL ingredients. They even ran out of ice cream at dinner, something that could have been stocked well in advance, unlike fresh vegetables. So any meal could take 1.5 - 2.0 hours. Again, the ataff was wonderful, they were doing everything they can to help. However, the management team really need to plan better for high season.

AAnonymous UserWe had a wonderful time at The Funny Lion in Coron. The rooms were incredibly spacious and kept spotlessly clean every single day. We loved the thoughtful extra touches, like the complimentary cookies and the delicious, fresh daily fruit shake.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome by addressing us by our names every day. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back!
