Guest UserThis was the most 'unusual' hotel we stayed at in Uzbekistan. Although the hotel is quite new, having been built in 2025, and boasts an impressive design, the hallways on the guest room floors were poorly ventilated and always smelled of sewage. The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy, like sleeping right next to an outdoor AC unit, making it impossible for light sleepers to get any rest. Consequently, on our first night, we had to approach the front desk to request a room change. The front desk staff on duty responded fairly quickly and agreed to our request. Late at night, we moved all our luggage with the staff to the new room. We finally managed to sleep, but the next morning we discovered that the second room was not only much smaller but also had unstable Wi-Fi, forcing us to rely on mobile data. Still, at least we could sleep, so we decided to make do.
But the strange incidents didn't stop there. Our check-in process was already quite bumpy. We waited for a long time at the front desk while the staff spent ages typing on the computer with our passports, busy with who knows what, refusing to hand over the keys. We guessed the room wasn't ready, so we told them we'd accept a double room, even if it meant a bit of a squeeze for the two of us. Only then did they finally prepare the room cards.
Back to the room. The next day, we decided to wait for the sun to go down a bit before heading out, so when housekeeping knocked to clean the room, we asked them to come back in 40 minutes, which they readily agreed to. However, when we returned later that day, we found that no one had come to clean the room.
The only redeeming factor was the dining experience; both breakfast and dinner were very satisfying. The restaurant staff spoke fluent English, were friendly and attentive, and the food selection was rich, fresh, and delicious.

Guest UserWonderful staff, but the hotel is a compromise
The staff here are genuinely lovely — warm, attentive, and always willing to help. That's the highlight of the stay, and it deserves real credit. But the hotel itself is a compromise.
The main draw is the outdoor pool, which is excellent — and honestly, there's nothing of this quality anywhere else in the city. The problem is everything around it. The hotel sits far from the historic center, so you're dependent on taxis to get anywhere worth seeing. The views from the rooms look out onto old Soviet-era buildings with little charm, and there's a layer of dust over everything.
The pool is where the real frustrations begin. It's open to non-guests for a fee, which means it's frequently overcrowded — especially on weekends, when there's often simply no space. Many of the local visitors behave with little regard for others: jumping in, shouting, treating it like a public party rather than a hotel pool. Some show up and drink heavily. During our stay there was a man who was completely, falling-down drunk — he stumbled and nearly cracked his head open several times. The staff had no idea how to handle it. They let him lie around, swim, even dance, while children of paying guests were right there in the water nearby. For a spa team, this is real unprofessionalism — there was no intervention, no sense of safety, no management of the situation at all.
On top of that, Sundays are women-only days, with men not allowed in at all. I understand the intent, but if you've traveled here and paid specifically for the pool, that's a significant loss - because without the pool, the hotel is honestly rather grim and uninteresting.
In short: the people who work here are kind, and the pool is the best in town. But the location, the surroundings, the overcrowding, and especially the spa staff's inability to maintain a safe, professional environment make this a place you choose despite its flaws, not because of them.

Very clean hotel, spacious rooms and great balcony. excellent service! The English at the front desk is very fluent and there is no obstacle to communication! The breakfast type is also good, although it may be because of local habits, most cold dishes. In short, it is the most satisfying hotel on this trip to Central Asia.

SabrinaaaaaaaaaaI had the best time staying here! The room is very nice with a lot of amenities, the beds are comfy and there’s even a kitchen for light cooking. It’s located very near to all the main attraction and you can easily walk everywhere. The breakfast was so good as well, I enjoyed it so much! It will be delivered to the room every morning & there’s few option to choose from. Hakim is very friendly, helpful and attentive. He even printed me Bukhara attraction maps with a list of recommended restaurant. Even I came alone I felt very safe and welcomed. The hotel is not in the old city, but by taxi to get close enough. It was a little noisy from the cars on the street (view to the city). Breakfast was normal, varied, there was strawberries, cherry, apricots in the middle of May. But the eggs and casca were finished. We had a hard time to set up the TV, asked for help to staff. The air conditioner worked .good.bassnine good, new.

A very beautiful hotel with excellent service, in a walk-in from the old city. We have a family room consisting of two standards connected to the inter-room door, very convenient for 4 people! The room has all the necessary, good repair and comfortable furniture. On the respiratory has helped with all the issues - booking a table in the restaurant, carrying out exchange of currency and so on. The only thing that was a little bit upset - quite modest compared to Hiva and Samarkand breakfast, hot dishes were few, baking in factory packaging, but not bad coffee.

250920 Stayed at Zehra Hotel for two days, I felt very good, very clean, the lobby wall has attracted nearby attractions, the boss automatically helped the guests carry their luggage upstairs, the smile was very kind, the breakfast was neatly arranged, the best food was the bowl of cereal.
