3-Star Hotels in Troms, Norway

This hotel deserves a perfect 100! Our room faced the sea directly. I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration when booking, and the hotel thoughtfully sent a handwritten card and some delicious macarons, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel is brand new, so everything is pristine and the decor is beautiful. The location is excellent too; it's a great place to stay even without a car.

This hotel boasts a superb location, close to public transport and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room size is on the smaller side with a compact layout, but it's very clean and the facilities are complete and perfectly adequate. The front desk service was attentive, and check-in was quick. For the high prices in Tromsø, it's a hassle-free and comfortable option, definitely worth recommending.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. If the weather is clear, you might be able to see the Northern Lights from your room. The facilities are quite new, the bathroom is spacious, there's 24-hour coffee in the lobby, and the front desk staff are very friendly. It's a good hotel.

The facade definitely stands out and the place was cosy. However, the photos were not representative of the actual place not exactly in a good way. We stayed in the designer cabin (which costs more) but were surprised by how small it was. I would not recommend paying more for the cabin during summer as there is not much to see and less convenient considering we needed to walk a distance to access the amenities including the toilets and kitchen which we did not know when we booked.

Make sure to book this hotel in advance! I booked it for 1500 (presumably NOK) in November, and by February, the price had jumped to 2300. The room is indeed small, but considering its location and the cost of living in Northern Europe, I think it's excellent value for money – much better than Paris. The hotel is right in the city center, very close to McDonald's, and there's a large supermarket nearby. The #40 bus stop, just 200 meters away, takes you directly to the airport (30 NOK, you can tap and pay on board). Most importantly, absolutely add the breakfast – it might just be the best quality meal you'll have in Tromsø.

A great place to stay, though the uphill walk to the building can be a bit challenging. The property is clean, even with shared toilets and showers. I appreciated the shared kitchen and the free laundry. The complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea were a nice touch and really made a difference. Oliver at reception was especially helpful and provided plenty of useful information. I would definitely recommend staying here

The hotel is in a fantastic location, a 3-minute walk from the city center and 3-5 minutes from all tour meeting points. Tromsø is very safe, and the apartment itself is apparently newly renovated, very clean and simple, with a very Nordic feel. All the essentials are included, even coffee, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Staying in an apartment in Tromsø is a great option, allowing you to cook meals with fresh ingredients for days! Feel free to leave a message to let the hotel know if you need anything extra, or if you need to arrive early. It was a perfect stay!

Fantastic view and spacious room. Arctic Inn sits right in front of the fjord. We saw mountains, birds and water when we woke up. The room is quiet. Lars, the owner, and his team are friendly and accommodating. When asked in advance, Lara will be happy to prepare a vegan meal. There is a gym and pool table for winding down inside. Quite a few local hikes around. Very much recommended.

Health is very often Hotel location is not bad 4 minutes walk to the airport, there will be a car 6 minutes walk to the world's northern McDonald's (28/10/2024) Service is also very good Front desk staff with a smile We also provided free Waffle materials on the day we stayed. Unfortunately, we're going back to the batter. Facilities are also regular The only thing that can be improved is the taste of the hotel room Will have a (damp?) smell.

Great hotel for it's price. Especially when tromso is such an expensive city. Like seriously expensive. The check in process was seamless and quite convenient. A passcode is sent to me prior to arriving and I just needed to key that in. Only problem was that the hotel was located on the top of a hill. So it was painful trying to get to it from city center.
