Hotels With Gym in Shaanxi, China

I bought a two-night package deal and stayed at different times, so I got to experience what I believe is the only 'Legend' hotel in China. I called the front desk in advance to request an extra bed (I also submitted this through Ctrip), but there was no pre-stay concierge service. I did receive a call from Ctrip saying the hotel mentioned a charge for the extra bed, but I didn't get a direct call from the hotel itself. On our first day, we arrived around 11:30 AM, but the room wasn't ready yet, and we only got the key after 2 PM. The front desk offered welcome drinks, and the service was decent. A big thank you to the service staff at the entrance who helped with our luggage. I also saw some staff quickly grabbing umbrellas for guests caught in the rain, which was really thoughtful. This made the front desk service seem a bit indifferent by comparison. Before my second stay, I did receive a call asking about my preferences, which I appreciated. The hotel's location is peaceful yet central, and it has a strong sense of history. The room has a separate living area and bedroom. The living area felt a bit cramped, and with an extra bed, there was hardly any space to move around, so we ended up making a bed on the sofa, which was fine for one adult. The room's details were well-executed and comfortable to use. The hotel's breakfast buffet had limited options, but the à la carte menu offered both Chinese and Western dishes. The Eggs Benedict were served on a 'mo' (a type of steamed bun), which was very Xi'an. The spicy soup (Húlàtāng) was delicious, and I asked the chef for a freshly baked 'mo' to soak in it – a true Xi'an way of eating. The 'Zènggāo' (steamed glutinous rice cake) was better than what you find outside.

Our stay at the Yunhe Hotel was the most memorable part of our trip to Xi'an. The hotel's facilities and service truly impressed our whole family. A key factor for our family travels is ensuring the kids have a great time and are comfortable, and they certainly were here! Plus, the hotel's location is super convenient; we could get almost anywhere within a 20-minute drive. If we ever come back to Xi'an, we'll definitely choose Yunhe again! Special thanks to the kind young man who left sweet soup for us every day, and to the gentle front desk staff, Yezhi, Li Zi, Qiutian, and everyone else. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality; you've left us with a fantastic impression of Xi'an.

The location is super convenient! It's an easy walk to the Bell Tower and Xi'an Museum. For places like Datang Everbright City, Shaanxi History Museum, and Sajinqiao, a taxi ride is quick and simple. There are also plenty of shopping areas nearby, plus famous local eateries like Weijia Liangpi and Chahualong. We had a great time! The room itself was generally good, though the bathroom was a bit small. We stayed in two rooms for four nights but didn't get complimentary breakfast, which was a bit of a shame. The family room faced the street, so it was a little noisy. The Qin Sheng Zhai downstairs had some delicious food.

Had a truly excellent experience at this hotel! The environment is beautiful and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive ☕. The breakfast and late-night snacks each day were also very good. They even contacted me in advance of my stay to send me a travel guide. Any requests I had were met with a patient response, and the rooftop pool bar is also gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Very close to the subway and surprisingly quiet, with a cool retro decor. It was super convenient for getting around. You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious. The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract! **Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

The hotel is right inside the Huaqing Palace scenic area, so the location is fantastic. We booked a room with a private hot spring tub (though the hot spring water only runs from 7 PM and wasn't hot enough). The hotel butler service was excellent, and the housekeeping staff were very warm and diligent. You can also inform the front desk in advance to arrange an electric shuttle for transfers within the scenic area. The restaurant's food was delicious, and the service there was also superb. Recommended.

The quality of Ascott hotels is consistently reliable, as always. All facilities are very complete, including a refrigerator, microwave, and a washer-dryer combo, so you can pack fewer clothes for your trip. The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool, and the breakfast selection is quite rich. The staff and front desk personnel are warm, attentive, and responsive to every request. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and dining options, making it easy to get to attractions like Xiaozhai, the Bell Tower, and the Shaanxi History Museum. There are also plenty of restaurants downstairs, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can gaze at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in the distance. Although it's close to the main South Second Ring Road, it's very quiet.

Stayed here by chance during my trip and it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the staff patiently helped with directions. It was quiet, the bedding was soft, and the location was convenient for sightseeing. This will be my top choice for accommodation whenever I visit again!

The hotel facilities are good and it's clean. The bed is really soft and comfortable. The cleanliness is quite satisfactory; there are no stains on the bedding, and the floors are clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Keji Road subway station, making transportation quite easy. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea with black tea and parking vouchers.

My only requirement for a hotel is peace and quiet. That's why, even though I was visiting Xi'an, I specifically booked this place. Plus, as an IHG Platinum member, I try to stick with the brand. The reason for choosing this hotel was simple: it looked relatively quiet, and they had suites available. Logically, for just my wife and me, such a large room wasn't necessary, but I thought fewer neighbors might mean more quiet. The first night, however, had a bit of a hitch. I'm not sure if it was the air conditioning unit upstairs or some other machinery, but every twenty minutes or so, there would be a very loud bang, which meant I barely slept all night. Honestly, for such a nice room, this issue was quite unexpected. At 5 AM, I couldn't take it anymore and had to call the front desk. They handled it promptly, quickly moving me to the seventh floor; my original room was on the eighteenth floor. The seventh-floor suite was also much quieter. Although the curtains were a bit old, with several small holes, making them less effective at blocking out light than those on the eighteenth floor, and the partition between the living room and bedroom was transparent (which compromises sound insulation and light blocking), the overall living experience was actually more comfortable. The rooms downstairs have gaming consoles and kitchens, while the rooms upstairs feel more like private meeting spaces – each with its own distinct features. At least after moving to the seventh floor, I didn't hear that inexplicable loud noise anymore. Of course, being closer to the gym, I occasionally heard some equipment training sounds, but it was a vast improvement compared to the first night, and my sleep quality significantly improved on the second day. Just a small suggestion for the hotel: the coffee machine in the room and the provided capsules didn't seem to be compatible, so I didn't end up using it. But this is a minor issue and didn't affect the overall experience. This stay also made me ponder whether I should continue to spend more on suites just for the sake of quiet in the future. Theoretically, suites should have fewer neighbors, but in reality, suite floors might also attract more families traveling together, so it's not necessarily quieter. Overall, however, I was quite satisfied with this stay. Especially the hotel staff's service attitude was excellent, and their response time when issues arose was very quick. If I visit Xi'an again, I'd very likely choose to stay here. For friends traveling, this hotel is indeed a bit further from the main attractions, but for me, getting a good rest is more important than saving an extra ten or twenty minutes of travel time.
