The reception desk was super welcoming. There were two girls on the desk, and I stood at the desk for at least like 10 seconds before they before I was standing there even though I said ”Ni Hao”. They look so miserable and couldn't even smile. The hotel must treat them so terribly. The room wall was full black scratch marks every where. The hotel looks only 50% like the photo. The cleaner did the bare minimum, my sink was dirty and didn't even clean it. Don't believe about the gym or amenities. The only thing I like about the hotel is the location and the neighborhood. It feel very authentic and cozy neighborhood with lively students and nice fast local eateries. There is a cozy Cafe near by.

We had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Baoji. The room was spacious and offered a stunning view of the city and the river . The hotel's location is excellent for both sightseeing and business . A special thank you to Jessica, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English, making us feel very welcome. In fact, all the staff were remarkably attentive and professional throughout our stay . The facilities, including the indoor pool and the sky bar on the 40th floor, were top-notch . A truly wonderful experience and probably the best hotel in the city!

A perfect experience for a family trip. The hotel is in a very good location, right by the Han River, integrated with Tianhan Park, and has a very good environment The hotel service is first-class, the facilities are very new, and it feels very high-end The breakfast is very good, the hot rice noodles are a must, I ate bowl after bowl until I couldn't eat anymore, it's much better than eating out There is a 30 yuan noodle buffet for lunch, which is amazing! Every kind of noodle is delicious, oil splash, pulled noodles, the children ate bowl after bowl, amazing! Next time I come to Hanzhong, I will stay here again

Here’s a polished review in English, natural and hotel-review style: ⸻ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Xi’an and would absolutely recommend it. The location is truly exceptional, set בתוך the historic city walls and just a short walk from the iconic Bell Tower. Right outside the hotel, you’ll find plenty of street food stalls, the vibrant Muslim Quarter, and countless restaurants, making it the perfect base to explore the city. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially with guests who don’t speak Chinese. A special mention also goes to the breakfast team, who stood out for their attentiveness and friendliness. The breakfast itself was good, with a decent variety to choose from. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished in a modern style. I especially appreciated the Dyson hairdryer — such a nice touch to have even while traveling. And the mattress deserves a special mention: one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on, truly outstanding. I would definitely stay here again. My only regret is that I only spent two nights, because everything about this hotel was simply lovely.

We booked for 2nights in April and it came with breakfast, first run of minibar, Single Tang Dynasty themed travel photography & Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours Experience. As our room has its own hot bath that fills up every night at 7.30pm to 12.30am, we did not go to the Imperial hot spring which is at located in another building. Hotel: It is located in the Hua Qing Palace scenic area and for hotel guests, you can enter and exit the scenic area freely. In the scenic area, there are other eateries like KFC and coffee joints but they operate only during scenic area opening hours. The Hua Qing Palace consists of many cultural sites like Tang Dynasty Imperial Hot Spring Relics Museum, Xi’an Incident site, Five Rooms Hall, Jiulonghu Lake and Furonghu Lake scenic spot, Tang Dynasty Pear Garden Relics Museum and many landmark buildings, such as Feishuang Hall Wanshou Hall, Longevity Hall, Huan Garden and Emperor Yu Palace. Service: The staff in the hotel are helpful to assist and answers all my questions in a clear manner. They came with buggy as soon as I dial for them and also assisted us to purchase the tickets for the show. Photography: I enjoyed the Tang Dynasty themed travel photography and I find that both make-up artist (Ms Dian Dian) and photographer (Mr Wang Jie) are very professional and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This photography is conducted by a third-party vendor that is stationed in the hotel. We went to the Hua Qing Palace for the photography. It is a convenient location to take photo with beautiful backgrounds. A day after the photo taking, we went online to choose the photos that I wanted to keep. Customer Service Ms Liang Yanping conducted a live session via a link in wechat, somewhat similar to zoom meeting to showcase all the photos that were taken. The complimentary digital photos given by the hotel are for 3 high quality digital photos and if one wants more than 3 pictures, there will be an extra charge for the purchase. Food: The restaurant is located in another building which is about 8minute walk away. Alternatively, we can call the buggy to send us there and back. The food is really yummy and I must say the Chang-an Roasted Whole Chicken is a must try. Also.... the desserts are so good too. With a love for sweet food, I tried the almond lotus paste and also the lychee and redberry cold dessert. They are both gooooood... Show: At night, there is a large-scale live-action historical dance drama “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” that is created by Shaanxi Tourism Group Company. The theme of this dance drama is the love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Consort Yang. This is a must see as the performance is top notch. Separate tickets must be purchased for the show. Summary: For those who want to be in a historical site that offers a hot spa right in your bedroom, this is an ideal place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who are visiting Xi-an and to use this as a last stop in Xi-an before heading to your next destination.

I'm so glad I started my Xi'an trip here. It really hit all the right spots, to the point where I seriously considered extending my stay for another day… but in the end, I decided to experience other hotels as well. [Location] It's right by Yongning Gate, next to the city wall, perfectly avoiding the city's traffic jams, which is super convenient for those who rely on taxis for getting around. There's also a subway station nearby. Plus, there are tons of delivery options and amazing places to eat, from breakfast to dinner, snacks, bubble tea, BBQ, and late-night eats – you could literally spend all day just eating! It's also a pleasant walk to the Bell Tower. [View] Pull back the curtains and there's the city wall. Whether it's the grandeur of the day or the dazzling lights at night, I could never get enough of it. [Service] The service was absolutely fantastic! It's been a long time since I've experienced such heartwarming service. Every staff member was so enthusiastic and friendly, from the front desk ladies to the aunties in the restaurant. Everyone served with a smile and went out of their way to provide help within their means. [Environment] (1) The decor, design, and murals really resonated with everyone; there are so many photo opportunities within the hotel itself. (2) Even if you don't have a city wall view room, the outdoor bar offers a spectacular view of the city wall. Sitting there watching the sunset, scrolling on your phone, and enjoying afternoon tea – it's incredibly cozy. (3) The small table in the triple room was perfect for ordering takeout with friends, happily eating and chatting, with Xi'an's city wall right outside the window. After a full meal, you can just lean back and feel completely content without even stepping out. However, if you're a workaholic and need to work overtime, the restaurant might be a more convenient spot. (4) The beds, pillows, and bath products were all very well-received. [Facilities] The pillows, bedding, and toiletries were all highly praised. [Activities] They offer airport pick-up and drop-off, a rubbings activity, free Hanfu rental, and there are many foreign guests as well. [Heads-up] For city wall view rooms facing the road, because they primarily feature glass curtain walls and windows, you might hear the sound of motorcycles with loud exhausts. However, since it's not continuous, it didn't affect our sleep. But it could be a concern for those who are sensitive to noise or are very light sleepers. BUT! The front desk thoughtfully provides earplugs! [Other] When I checked in, it felt like there weren't many guests. Perhaps it's because the price is relatively higher? Or maybe there are too many hotels in the vicinity, leading to intense competition and diverting some guests. However, with the amazing view + cultural experience + airport transfer + excellent service + great location + wonderful ambiance, I feel like it's hard to beat.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right outside Bell Tower subway station and across from Kaiyuan Shopping Mall, making getting around a breeze. The room was spotless, and the gentleman on the ground floor was very welcoming, even helping us with our luggage all the way to the subway entrance when we checked out. Breakfast offered a great variety, and they even had afternoon tea. Our child got tired from exploring in the morning, so we could relax at the hotel with afternoon tea before heading out again in the evening. We forgot to bring a pencil sharpener for our child, and the front desk thoughtfully sent a robot to deliver one to our room. When we checked out, the front desk ladies were all very friendly and even gave us a thoughtful little gift. Next time we visit Xi'an, we'll definitely choose Novotel again.

Had a fantastic stay here! I was traveling solo and booked a more affordable windowless double room. However, the ventilation system was always on, so it never felt stuffy at all. For a traveler who's out exploring all day and just needs to crash at night, it was incredibly good value for money. The room itself was very spacious, about 20-30 square meters. Every area was clean and tidy, and the hairdryer and water heater worked perfectly. What's more, I noticed the hotel provides two types of pillows – a soft cotton one and another slightly firmer one with something like buckwheat inside. You can really tell the hotel puts thought into their guests' comfort. Also, the front desk staff were incredibly responsible and attentive. They made sure to note down every guest request. When I went out, I told them my luggage was on the sofa and asked them not to move it when cleaning the room. They actually wrote it down in their notebook – truly an excellent hotel. The location is also great. It's just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and Zhang Xueliang's Residence is a mere five-minute walk away. So, I was basically neighbors with the Young Marshal for a couple of days, haha!

I booked three landscape rooms for two nights at the Chengyu Chenghao (Yongning Gate branch) hotel for my family and friends during our trip to Xi'an, and everyone raved about it. First off, the location is superb. It's a short five-minute walk from Yongningmen Station on Metro Line 2, making getting around incredibly convenient. You can easily reach the Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Datang Everbright City by subway. The Yongning Gate tower is directly across the street, so you can walk to explore the city walls. It's also very close to the Forest of Stone Tablets Museum, Wolong Temple, Shuyuanmen, Xiangzi Temple, Defuxiang, Bell Tower, and Drum Tower – perfect for a leisurely city walk in the old town. From the room, you get a fantastic view of the city walls, especially at night, which is absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious and bright. While the facilities aren't brand new, both the room and bathroom are impeccably clean, and we slept wonderfully both nights. What truly stands out is the hotel service. Due to a change I made to my Ctrip booking, the complimentary breakfast I originally booked was lost. The front desk staff actively helped coordinate and ultimately provided an excellent solution. During both check-in and check-out, we were offered tea and given a tourist guide card. Upon check-out, we even received a souvenir. The room service staff promptly helped us with a minor issue with a window, and there's a self-service laundry facility on the 7th floor. With such warm and welcoming service, coupled with the excellent location, amazing views, and comfortable room facilities, the price felt incredibly reasonable – truly great value for money. This is a real gem of a hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again next time.

GGuest UserI'm only getting around to writing this review now, after a trip before Chinese New Year, because the experience was truly memorable and worth savoring. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not far from attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Forest of Steles. On a good day, you can walk to them, or if you're feeling lazy, a taxi ride is quick. Getting to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Furong Garden is also smooth, whether by metro or taxi. The hotel's surroundings are very quiet, and once you enter the grounds, it feels like a private garden. Even in winter, you can see greenery all around, so I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the other three seasons. What left the deepest impression was a young man from the hotel's concierge team. After my child and I finished our meal, we wanted to stroll around the courtyard. He proactively approached us, asking if we had eaten and where we planned to go. We told him we weren't going far, just exploring the courtyard. He enthusiastically informed us that there was an olive tree in the backyard personally planted by Premier Zhou, suggesting we look for it. We were pleasantly surprised and immediately decided to seek out this piece of history. Early on February 11th, we had booked a trip to the Terracotta Warriors. Since it was quite a distance, we rushed to the restaurant for breakfast right when it opened. As the elevator doors opened downstairs, it was the same familiar young man, greeting us with a cheerful 'Good morning!'... Throughout our stay, we encountered this diligent and hospitable staff member many times as we came and went. Even my child would proactively say hello to him, as if he were a familiar family member! The feeling of being welcomed like family truly slowly permeates and influences those around you. It's a shame he wasn't on duty the day we checked out, so we couldn't say goodbye in person. I have a small suggestion for the hotel's guest rooms: it would be best to provide plastic non-slip mats in the shower. The lack of non-slip slippers, with only cotton bathmats available, isn't enough to prevent slips in the shower. Moreover, showering barefoot isn't comfortable for most Chinese people, especially women and children. Sometimes, a non-slip item is much more practical than just a warning!

CCuicuiaiheyinliaoThis hotel offered a pretty good experience. They have an airport shuttle service, running from 7 AM until sometime in the evening (I forget the exact end time). You need to book it a day in advance. It's a bus, and I believe pickups are at Terminal 2, with very clear instructions. Upon checking in, the front desk attendant offered me an upgrade to an executive room, which was a nice bonus. I stayed on the 11th floor, room 1101, right next to the elevator. It was one of only two rooms on that side, making it very quiet, which I really appreciated. Overall, the room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a good layout.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at an Ibis hotel, and what impressed me most was how clean and tidy everything was. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was spotless. The room didn't have a shower cap, but you could pick one up at the front desk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept really well. Hot water came quickly. The shower head and breakfast weren't particularly great, but the overall cleanliness and tidiness more than made up for these minor shortcomings. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly, even giving out small gifts.

NNata-Just a wonderful place — one of those moments when the online description perfectly matches reality. ✨ For work and otherwise, I’ve often stayed in various hotels across China, so I have something to compare it to. What matters to me: a comfortable mattress — neither too firm nor too soft — an orthopedic pillow, cleanliness, an openable window, a quiet room, a mosquito net, and a laundry room in the hotel. The rest are nice bonuses: a deep bathtub, the ability to brew tea right in the room, and drinks and snacks included. Afternoon tea, an evening snack, and breakfast in the room — very pleasant service. 🙌🏻 The interior is elegant, reminiscent of a good spa — blackout curtains, tall doors, minimalism… calm and cozy. The location is in the city center, about a 15‑minute walk from the Muslim Quarter, the Drum Tower, and the Bell Tower. The hotel manager, Ms. Wang Fang, was especially kind — she is very knowledgeable about history and culture and a delightful conversationalist. Now is a great time of year to visit Xi’an. By the way, in central China, only Chinese‑style sockets are often available, so keep that in mind.

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

GGuest User[Another perfect stay at InterContinental Xi'an High-Tech Zone] This was my second time staying at the InterContinental Xi'an High-Tech Zone, and once again, I was deeply impressed by the meticulous service. I just had to write another glowing review! During this stay, I had the pleasure of encountering Fiona at the front desk again. To my surprise, she actually remembered my previous stay preferences! She proactively asked if I needed any adjustments to the room layout and thoughtfully informed me about the hotel's special events. Her enthusiasm wasn't just evident in her professional check-in process, but also in every smile and every detail of her considerate care. She helped me reserve a table at the restaurant, quickly responded to my requests, and even planned a more convenient travel route for me, making my entire trip easy and stress-free. The hotel's service team as a whole is exceptionally well-trained, with everyone from the concierge to housekeeping being polite and efficient. The room, as always, was spotlessly clean and comfortable, offering expansive views. Coupled with high-quality amenities and a tranquil environment, it truly allowed me to shake off the fatigue of my journey. A truly excellent hotel is one that makes guests feel 'remembered' and 'valued.' Fiona and her colleagues absolutely achieved this. Thank you for your attentiveness, which once again created a perfect accommodation memory for me in Xi'an! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality experience~ #InterContinentalXiAnHighTechZone #RepeatGuestRecommended #ThoughtfulServiceFiona #PerfectDetails
