I always use the adelphi in Liverpool. It started with national coach excursions but this time iit was for one night only as I went to the empire theatre which is just up the road. It gets bad reviews but I won't hear a bad word about it. You get what you pay for

When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC. I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did. Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there. I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

my wife and I had a very enjoyable weekend break at Ropewalks. the hotel was centrally located, which suited us as we were away without kids and wanted to make the most of that. breakfast was your standard fare, but there was a chef cooking to order. the service staff at breakfast were excellent. would recommend for a boozy city break. thr hotel is neat to a lot of late bars and night clubs which was noisy and may be an issue for some travelers.

1. Excellent location, close to the train station, Albert Dock, etc., bus stop at the door, convenient to Anfield. 2. The room is spacious and has everything you need, with many charging sockets and USB ports, very convenient. 3. Friendly service, help to heat up food. 4. The only drawback is that the room lighting is dim, not friendly enough for reading.

It was a nice stay. comfortable pros: service- helpful trainee at desk got me a dental kit and brought to room. I also forgot my shaving foam and comb but they didn’t have these avaiilable breakfast: sensible not spectacular. Id like individual yoghurt pots and more fruits.maybe marmite? Food was on high turnover at busy times so can be a wait to get tables cleaned gym: ok- cons: bedside table very dusty see pictures

Hi, as we were leaving the hotel today I mentioned the cost of our stay was £193.50 for a one night stay with a continental breakfast! There was no kitchen facilities to offer a cooked breakfast or food. I feel this is soo expensive, your sight had no mention of the kitchen being closed or the replacement of a cooked breakfast with a basic continental option. I also mentioned the room 208 was tatty with stains on the carpet, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. It was mentioned that because Everton were playing at home that’s why the cost went up!! I understand economics but to increase the cost by nearly £120 is ridiculous. We have stayed at the Aloft on a number of occasions but feel we won’t be returning in a hurry. Can you please look into my comments. I would appreciate some form of refund or compensation. Really nice modern hotel, situated in a great place. Got a large double that over looked the lake which was a really nice room. Comfortable bed and the bathroom was very nice. Plenty storage space as well. Had breakfast which was good with plenty of choice. Got a good deal too on Trip.

The location The view for LFC parade Great view and great atmosphere The hotel reception All is good I have just one point , the security in front of the door for hotel activities should respect the hotel guests , I don’t wear ring for the activity but i am in hotel . He should ask me nicely without pushing me because i didn’t wear ring .

The hotel is right by the sea, a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the train station. They have sea-view rooms with nice scenery. There were also a few complimentary drinks in the fridge. The room was clean and tidy, so overall, it's pretty good.
