Zzhai_liliThe high temperatures persisted, so we came to Changbai Mountain to escape the heat and stayed at the Yunshuilanting Hotel. Upon check-in, Manager Dong, knowing we were two seniors over 70, provided us with the warmest service imaginable. She patiently explained the surrounding area, important considerations, and evening activities, and even brought us local seasonal blueberries. It felt like home, with the warmth of children around us. Despite it being peak tourist season and the hotel being fully booked, the cleanliness and dining were still top-notch. Of all the places we've stayed in Changbai Mountain over the past few days, this was by far the best experience. Manager Dong is an excellent leader, managing an outstanding service team.
GGuest UserThe apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean and cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. Communication was prompt and helpful, and it offers excellent value for money, making it a great choice for accommodation. It's also very convenient for visiting Changbai Mountain. The hotel even includes a complimentary hot spring experience. The hotel's surroundings are fantastic, with a wooden boardwalk leading into the forest. Special shout-out to Front Office Manager Zhang Yongping, who was incredibly welcoming and immediately sent over important information!
MMengxizhishuitianRight from the start, the service at this hotel felt uncomfortable. When checking in at the front desk, the staff member took my ID, then turned around to chat with a colleague, leaving me waiting. I had to ask twice before he finally said they were done chatting and proceeded with my check-in. The male front desk staff was full of arrogance! Sure enough, upon entering the room, a slipper left by the previous guest was prominently displayed on the floor! Dust and paper scraps were clearly visible in the corners. It was unbearable, so I requested a re-cleaning. Throughout it all, the hotel offered no apology whatsoever. For 2000 a night, it was a truly miserable stay!
MM9955****Traveling during the off-peak season, the hotel was excellent, and the front desk was incredibly responsible, taking care of everything. The hotel even has its own shuttle service with drivers who pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to go, and they even help you bargain! Much appreciated. Soaking in the hot springs while it snowed, then hitting the slopes at 8:30 AM – it was a fantastic experience.
GGuest UserThe bunk beds alone deserve a perfect score! No child can resist them. They even provide bed rails. The hotel lobby has toys, so waiting for the shuttle isn't boring. Plus, the shuttles are frequent and the signs are clear. While Songguoli is a bit far from the commercial street, the shuttle service makes it acceptable, and the price is much cheaper than hotels near the commercial street, offering great value for money.
The complimentary activities were also generous. We had two adults and two children, and even though one child wasn't tall enough for some activities, they let the older child play twice, which was very thoughtful. The hotel concierge was also very responsive.
The evening firework show was absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended! The other performances were also good. I prefer it here over Wanda. The shuttle buses are more frequent, making for a better experience.

DDongdazhiziRight at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.
SSuxiaolan1007This was by far the most satisfying hotel of our trip! First off, the service was exceptional. They reminded us in advance to book attraction tickets and the butler even arranged high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off. Since the attraction was closed on our first day, they even helped us snag tickets for the next day, which we greatly appreciated. Secondly, the perks for staying two nights were excellent. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the volcanic stone forest, dug up some ginseng, and then cooled off with spring water coffee and chilled watermelon at the ice spring. It was all very relaxing and pleasant. The off-road vehicle ride was a blast, though the cable car was just a standard ski resort one, nothing special. We finally made it up the mountain today and saw Tianchi Lake; the view was absolutely stunning. So happy! The hotel environment is lovely, complete with deer, bunnies, and alpacas. The volcanic hot springs really made my skin feel smooth afterwards, and I even felt my shoulder pain ease up quite a bit. Such great value!
AAnonymous UserBefore check-in, a butler proactively reached out to arrange airport pickup, and the check-in process was seamless. The hotel staff also paid close attention to the order notes when making arrangements, which was very thoughtful, and the suite was spacious. Since it's difficult to hail a ride through apps within the Splendid China Holiday Resort, the staff even helped us book a car, which was excellent service. It's conveniently located next to Swiss Town and very close to the nightly parade and intangible cultural heritage iron flower performance at Splendid China. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose Hualiike again.

SSmilexiaojiebuaipashanErdaobaihe Town is about 2 kilometers away from the bustling downtown area with many restaurants, making it convenient to get to Enduoli and Yunding Market. Food delivery is also easy to order, with robots delivering right to your door.
Mermaid Pine Park is just across the street. The room facilities and decor are quite good, and the hygiene is excellent. The breakfast looks abundant, but in reality, the variety isn't particularly wide, though the taste is decent.
A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs. Besides being free for guests, they also welcome external visitors, so there's a fair amount of foot traffic.
The hot springs feature indoor pools on the first and second floors. On the third or fourth floor (I can't recall which), there are many saunas and various themed relaxation rooms, including stone, mugwort, and traditional Chinese medicine saunas with different temperatures. The fifth floor has an outdoor swimming pool area.
The management is quite mature; the whole process of getting a hand tag, changing shoes, changing clothes, and returning the tag is very smooth and convenient. Visually, the hygiene also seems good. There are several attentive aunties in the changing rooms who actively guide you.
There are small spin dryers in the changing rooms, which are handy. If you rinse your swimsuit and use the dryer, it will dry much faster.
Overall, the experience was very good. If you choose to stay in Erdaobaihe, this place offers good facilities and hot springs to enjoy.
MM337499****I highly recommend the Beidahu Hyakumanseki Hot Spring Hotel; it's the ultimate choice for a ski resort getaway! As a high-end hot spring hotel under Gokurakuyu, Japanese aesthetics are integrated into every detail. The rooms are elegant and spacious, with premium and thoughtful amenities. Opening the window, you're greeted by a stunning, serene, and healing view of the snow-capped mountains. The location is absolutely fantastic, with an exclusive corridor leading directly to the ski equipment hall. No need to carry your gear; you can truly ski-in and ski-out, saving effort and hassle. After skiing, head straight to the Gokurakuyu hot spring, where the aroma of cypress wood fills the air. With both indoor and outdoor pools to choose from, the romantic experience of soaking in the snow is maximized, and all fatigue melts away. The butler service is meticulous, providing thoughtful care from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, ensuring you start your ski day full of energy. The hotel is well-equipped with a supermarket and a Japanese izakaya, fulfilling all your vacation needs in one place. Whether for a business retreat or a ski holiday, it's an impeccable top choice and has already been added to my must-visit list every year!
