Very friendly and helpful staff. They respond quickly via Wechat even at night. They upgraded our room to one with balcony which can view the city gate at night. Location is close to Pingjiang street and humble administration garden. Grateful for the free laundry services they provided. Saved me a lot of time. They also help deliver ******* to room. Only downside is mosquito which seems to be a Suzhou problem in general during summer.

Perfect location, very close to both Nanjing street and People’s Square train station with 3 different lines. Overall the hotel amenities, room size and price is good compared to other older hotels within the same area. The room is newly furbished with large TV, smart control system and smart toilet. Good and comfortable beddings as well. Whole 6 nights stay was perfect for me. I would recommend to extend the breakfast time until 1030am especially on weekends.

I do NOT recommend this hotel; do not come if you are disabled, old or in a wheelchair. I came with my aunt and a lot of the rooms are not accessible by elevator. I calculated and one you enter downstairs, it took me 4 minutes walking to get into the room which is huge compared to other hotels. The little bench in the entry was stained. There are some holes in the walls. The room doesn't look like the pictures at all!! And it's pretty dark even when all lights are on. There is a glass window between the shower and the bed, which made it super uncomfortable to shower (the one in the bed can see you even with the curtain down bc it is not thick enough). You can see my aunt in the picture, imagine when we had to shower. Only acceptable for couples, undecent for family or friends. The staff didn't accept to change me to a more accessible room even if my aunt is 72 yo and back problems!! For that matter, Trip refunded me about a fourth or a fifth the booking which isn't a real solution for that. Breakfast was ok but once there was a dirty plate, tried to give it to the waiter but she just told me to use it. What was i suppose to do with it, put it back for others? The mats of the hallways aren't high-end at all. The lobby indeed is but not the rooms, they are not all worth the pictures. Please note that there are around 40 rooms upstairs where i was, where you are likely to be housed, you need 2 different elevators and walk one floor. Other cheaper hotels in shanghai will make you feel more the ”high end” experience. The price isn't justified in my opinion. Thanks to the cleaning ladies who where always so kind.

Excellent stay with outstanding service! The staff were friendly and attentive, and Xiao Lei was especially helpful—always kind, professional, and went above and beyond to assist. He will always greet us with great smile and offer assistance without any hesitation. His colleague, Xian Yi also helped us a lot! The room is equipped with smart voice assistant to control all the switches. Thank you for such a memorable stay—I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking top-quality service and hospitality!

I had a great stay at Youli Hotel during my recent trip to Shanghai. The location is excellent, just steps away from the metro station that conveniently connects Line 1 and Line 8—making it super easy to get around the city. Although the hotel is small in size, it’s well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, offering great comfort and convenience. I was particularly pleased that the room was clean and completely free from any cigarette smell, which is often hard to find in some places. There’s also a convenience store right next door, which came in handy for snacks and essentials. Major attractions like Nanjing Road and The Bund are within walking distance, making the location even more ideal. I would definitely choose to stay at Youli Hotel again if I have the chance to return to Shanghai. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!

Staff service is amazing! Unlimited free drinking water. Hotel offers free parcel collection. The room for three is spacious, clean. Most importantly, the aircon is strong enough in this hot summer. We can even adjust to below 10 degree celcius. Beddings are so comfortable as well. Only downside is the location, we have to walk like 10-13 mins with luggages to the hotel. Nevertheless, price and quality are quite on par. It’s a good choice to stay here.

Exceptional Stay - Outstanding Service! We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment i arrived, the staffs were incredibly helpful, attentive and professional. Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist with anything we needed truly made our stay feel comfortable. Breakfast perfectly fine for elderly and provided late porridge. Laundry service is good too! Location is also perfect, walking distance to major attractions. Though the room size is slightly smaller than kthers, it does not affect our stay. Understand it located at golden area. Overall, we would stay again if go shanghai, and highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and convenience.

Location is excellent really convenient with just 1 stop away to people’s park (人民广场） so most of the places you go can be accessible with minimal walk. But at night surrounding can be slightly dark, but is a quiet and safe place. Right below a decent size 7 eleven (convenient store) whereby you can easily get any missing necessities there. They also had Starbucks coffee. Breakfast are decent and stuff are overall friendly even though they are still youngster. Gym are decent just a pity the rm itself do not have security box and ironing board. (You can steam your clothings at the level 6 washing laundry zone)

Booked 2 rooms, one for my husband and I and elderly father. The hotel seems pretty new. Both rooms were spacious, clean, no smoke smells and very comfortable! Room was situated away from the noisy streets. The service was great as well, where they provided us rooms on the same floor for convenience on request. They also replenished water with each room cleaning. Hair dryer was fantastic as well, similar to Dyson. Location was great as it was a short walk away from Nanjing east road and the bund. Breakfast spread was the usual as per the other hotels we had stayed at in shanghai and Su Zhou. More Chinese styled food, not much western options or an egg station. Overall it was a comfortable stay and will be happy to stay again if we are back in Shanghai.

Excellent location right on Nanjng walking Street and 2 buildings away from Peace Hotel, but not noisy as street noise are blocked by the double windows. No view of the Bund but only a 3 mins walk from the Bund. Down side for location is that any car pick up needs to walk around 2 mins to the street corner. Great b’fst selection with Chinese & Western option buffet, different coffee tea milk juice, etc. Staff are super friendly and courteous, late check out till 1 pm is always given if you ask. Pillows are on the soft & flat side so you might want to ask for harder pillow, free bottle water at each floor’s lift lobby take all you can drink.
