Hotels in Wujiaochang Commercial Area, Shanghai

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the Wujiaochang business district with direct access to the mall downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. This stay was specifically for my birthday, and overall, the experience was good. A special thank you to Kevin for the thoughtful room upgrade, complimentary breakfast, and a birthday cake – it truly made the occasion feel special. The room size was adequate. The only minor downside is that the hotel is a bit older, and the facilities are showing some age. During my stay, there was a small incident: the room assigned had not been double-checked after cleaning. While I was in the room, a staff member swiped their card and directly opened the door (thankfully, I always use the security chain), which raised privacy concerns. I suggest the hotel optimize its room allocation system. Rooms should only be marked as available for check-in in the system after a second inspection and approval. Additionally, strict protocols for staff entering rooms should be enforced to prevent similar situations from happening again. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. I wish the hotel prosperous business.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

My child wanted to visit Fudan University, but we couldn't get a reservation online. Thankfully, the hotel staff kindly helped us book it during our holiday stay – I'm so grateful! Overall, our experience after checking in was excellent, and the service was very attentive. We received executive lounge access on the day of check-in. Compared to other hotels, the executive lounge was a bit basic, with not many options.

The hotel's location is near Wujiaochang, and I booked it because of the Hyatt name, but I felt cheated upon arrival. The parking lot is above ground and shared with several other hotels, and the environment is very mediocre. Honestly, the hotel's interior isn't as good as an Atour hotel. When I walked into the room, I found bloodstains on the sheets, and the interior decoration was also just average. The hairdryer wasn't the advertised Dyson either.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The room service, the food, the gym, the breakfast, the checkout. The only thing I didn't anticipate was that about 50% of the staff at the reception couldn't speak English. Usually, they either called another colleague after I spoke and later realised none of it was understood, or a Chinese speaking guest nearby served as an interpreter. But even though this once resulted in a mistake, it was remedied with efficiency and professionalism I'd never seen before.

There are plenty of places to grab a late-night snack nearby, and even more dining options during the day. The windows are great at blocking out noise; once they're closed, you can't hear any street noise at all. However, I'd suggest not hanging clothes right against the wall. Also, could the towel rack be placed on the wall instead of over the toilet?

I chose this hotel by chance because I was bringing my baby to Xinhua Hospital. The location is great, it's in a residential area, close to the subway station, and also close to Xinhua Hospital, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel is clean, and the staff are attentive. Every room has a window, so the air quality is good. For this price in Shanghai, it even includes a decent breakfast, which makes it excellent value for money!

Such a wonderful stay! The location is a bit far from centre but DiDi is super cheap. Breakfast is nice and delicious, but it could have more variation and seafood options. Room was super clean, as well as the common rooms such as Pilates room and swimming pool. Also a tip would be to include floor 7 in the accessible floors because laundry room is there and going to the reception to have someone walk with us was a hustle. Overall I’d absolutely come back to this hotel, it was very pleasant to stay here.

I'd been looking forward to staying at this hotel ever since I saw it a year ago, and honestly, I was quite excited about its grand opening. However, having stayed at several hotels in Yangpu District this year, I've never encountered such a rude male front desk staff member. First, he abruptly asked if I had booked the hotel myself, which left me feeling confused – maybe I'm overthinking it. Then, he said they were checking the rooms and asked me to wait a moment for him to bring me the key. During this time, I wasn't the only one waiting, and I saw female front desk staff approach other guests multiple times to hand them their room cards. But when it was my turn, this male staff member simply called out ”Ms. X” and then stood there silently, unmoving, essentially telling me to come over and get it myself. He was the one who initially said he would bring it to me, but then just stood there and called me over. I can only say the experience was extremely unpleasant. I don't understand what the hotel's policy is. If he hadn't said he'd bring me the room card, I wouldn't have thought much of it. But combined with his previous irrelevant question, it just exuded an inexplicable arrogance. It really made me wonder who the customer was. It completely ruined my mood for checking in. The environment and the room itself were fine, but if Atour wants to compete with star-rated hotels, their standardization still has a long way to go.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right by Tongji University. The room design is very stylish, and the bedding is really comfortable. It's also easy to get a taxi to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It perfectly avoids the hustle and bustle of the city, and there are many late-night Japanese eateries nearby that I've saved for next time. I'll definitely stay here again!
