A great hotel for a decent price. UrCove by HYATT hotels are always quite nice and clean for even a couple of nights stay. The location of this one is also great, being right next to one of the biggest mall complexes I experienced and a great metro connection to the most famous spots in the city (although you probably have to cut through the mall or go around it to get to the metro entrance).

Home Inn Selected was a convenient and comfortable choice for our stay in Shanghai, especially as it was located very close to our friend’s home. The hotel is also only around a 5-minute walk from the underground/metro station, making it very easy to travel around the city and visit Shanghai’s main tourist attractions. The room itself was clean, tidy, and suitable for a comfortable stay, and the hotel offered good value as a budget-friendly option in such a busy city. There was a slight lingering smoke smell in parts of the room/building from previous guests smoking, but aside from that, our overall experience was positive. The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, particularly when assisting us with extending our booking for an additional night at a very reasonable price, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this is a solid and convenient budget hotel for anyone looking for a good base while exploring Shanghai, especially with such easy metro access. We would happily consider staying here again in the future.

I came to Shanghai for business this time, and the most pleasant surprise was choosing the right hotel! 😊 The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent. Even though I usually have trouble sleeping in new places, I slept soundly all night. From the window, I could see the old Shanghai streetscape, which was especially charming in the evening. I particularly want to commend the front desk staff (the young lady/gentleman). Their attitude was super nice! Seeing I was traveling alone, they proactively recommended some delicious local noodle shops nearby and even advised me on transportation routes. It was really heartwarming~ 💛 The value for money is outstanding. For this location, this service, and this level of cleanliness, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai and will recommend it to my friends! All in all, a five-star recommendation, you can't go wrong with this choice! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My stay here far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

I stayed at Weting Hotel for my exam, and the location was incredibly convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff thoughtfully arranged a room facing the green belt, which was relatively quiet. The front desk service was attentive and thorough, and it offered great value for money. Staying here while preparing for my exam gave me peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone coming to take an exam!

10/2025 - I brought my relatives to Ramada Wujiaochang Shanghai for staying here because this hotel has the best price and performance ratio in that area at $78 for a suite, including two buffet breakfast and tax, no tip in China. We enjoy the area for shopping and dining, especially across the hotel, you can find a delicious bowl of vegetable wontons soup at $2.00 (15 RMB) including tax vs. approximately $20 in Los Angeles after Tax + Tip! If you like Chinese medicine for a special area treatment, a 北京同仁堂 is just across the hotel. The hotel has been continuing to renovate guestrooms slowly. Staying at a 9th floor might be your best choice because all guestrooms were remodeled 5 years ago with a Biden Toilet. The subway #10 is just a walking distance from the hotel. If you like to visit the Pudong, you can consider to take a new subway line #18 for just a one-seat ride, but a 20 minutes walk or take a taxi at $2.00 to the subway. 2019 - This is my third time to stay at RAMADA SHANGHAI Wujiaochang. I am glad that the hotel is now going through a remodeling construction phase. The 3rd and 5th floors are at the reconstruction at the moment. The hotel has a all-you-can-eat morning buffet with 30 different items at $7 (50 RMB) per person, which can satisfy most common visitors. A walking distance to the subway line 10 is not far, which usually takes 10 minutes. From the subway station, you can visit a newly opened underground plaza where 13 exits are available.

I'd been looking forward to staying at this hotel ever since I saw it a year ago, and honestly, I was quite excited about its grand opening. However, having stayed at several hotels in Yangpu District this year, I've never encountered such a rude male front desk staff member. First, he abruptly asked if I had booked the hotel myself, which left me feeling confused – maybe I'm overthinking it. Then, he said they were checking the rooms and asked me to wait a moment for him to bring me the key. During this time, I wasn't the only one waiting, and I saw female front desk staff approach other guests multiple times to hand them their room cards. But when it was my turn, this male staff member simply called out ”Ms. X” and then stood there silently, unmoving, essentially telling me to come over and get it myself. He was the one who initially said he would bring it to me, but then just stood there and called me over. I can only say the experience was extremely unpleasant. I don't understand what the hotel's policy is. If he hadn't said he'd bring me the room card, I wouldn't have thought much of it. But combined with his previous irrelevant question, it just exuded an inexplicable arrogance. It really made me wonder who the customer was. It completely ruined my mood for checking in. The environment and the room itself were fine, but if Atour wants to compete with star-rated hotels, their standardization still has a long way to go.

Very new and clean, super close to the subway which is very convenient, and there are many places to eat nearby.

The facilities are comfortable, clean, and inviting. The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, elegantly furnished, and had an open view. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with a well-designed wet/dry separation. The shower had excellent water pressure and stable temperature, and the toiletries were of good quality. The soundproofing in the room was effective, and the air conditioning ran quietly. The gym was well-equipped, making it very convenient for workouts. Many of the common areas in the apartment were free to use during my stay, creating a very comfortable living environment. Overall, the cleanliness and hygiene were very satisfactory.

I stayed here while attending a paper sculpting event. The room was conveniently located near the office building where the event was held and Wujiaochang. The large floor-to-ceiling windows were a nice touch, and overall, the place was pretty clean. There was a wide variety of food delivery options available, which was great. However, the street directly facing the hotel was under construction, and the noise continued rumbling on until the early hours of the morning, which was incredibly annoying.
