Both were very nice hot springs. There was free cold water in the rest place and I was grateful. Dinner was served at the restaurant on the first basement floor. It is on the first basement floor but you can see the sea because it is a pass. The staff was rustling and elegant and nice atmosphere restaurant. The dishes were very beautiful and it was more like a French course dish than a Japanese party seat. The dishes that were still cooking the cherry blossoms with steamers were delicious. And the first time I ate the brand pig of Kumamoto called ”fire book pig”, the dish that boiled the thick cut with demi glass was very soft and delicious. Alcohol was very rich in shochu. It was different from the meeting seat peculiar to Amakusa's inn, where there were a lot of brews and seafood dishes, and I enjoyed it slowly with sake in a fashionable atmosphere. The dishes for children (low grades in elementary school) were carried with a very fashionable large plate. With corn soup and juice. The dessert is a combination of crepe with strawberry cream and fruit. (Photos are shown) Breakfast was served in a buffet style in a hall like a reception hall. The squid somen in the seafood bowl corner was delicious. There was a warm French toast, and it was delicious and replaced with maple syrup. The fruit was well ripe and sweet. There were many delicious dishes and I felt luxurious.

The reception and restaurant on the first floor of the hotel are beautifully designed and modern, but the rooms remain old. The bathroom smells strong and the bedroom smells like cigarettes. If you tell the reception that you want to change other rooms if they are empty, it is full. I hung up the phone, but I didn't request it from here, but he brought an air purifier to the guest room. The smell of the bathroom could not be eliminated, but thanks to this, the smell of cigarettes in the bedroom was eliminated to some extent, and the hard work of the hotel staff was transmitted. Breakfast is served with a table service, including Amami dishes such as chicken rice and somen noodles that are served with sesame noodles supervised by local Amakusa restaurants. Some people may like the buffet where you can cook as much as you like, but I prefer this method where you can choose from the menu. The buffet is uncomfortable because customers walk around the restaurant. Maybe the guest room will be renewed in the future, so if you come to Amakusa again, this is a good choice. The building is ３ floor and is never big, so the location of the hotel is difficult to confirm from the far eye, but it arrived without hesitation because it was along the waterway. There is no public bath and it is not a hot spring, so it is a style to put a bathing agent in the unit bus and enjoy the fragrance. I received a bath in the morning and evening and went to the room, the building felt old, but the room was beautifully renovated, and the floor of the room was flooring and received a warm and soft impression of Nordic. The room clothes are both red yukata and Santa's pattern is very unique. The towels are the best rank among the inn ever. It was a towel from imabari and it was fuzzy without a bad smell. Because it is along the waterway, insects gather in the window at night, but in the morning the sun rose from the window to the mountain and it was greeted with a clear 々 morning. There is no dining room nearby, so let's check in after dinner at the hotel or choose a meal. Isn't it a good hotel to enjoy calm Amakusa?

A very cost-effective hotel with a big dolphin cruise at the door. If you need to charter a car for a period of time to take a boat, it is quite convenient to come by chartered car from Aso. No one in the big bathroom has a private bath, and the open-air bath has an invincible sea view. The seafood kaiseki for dinner is amazing. If you are in China, a dinner is basically worth the price. I love Amakusa, a small town with a high green rate, and I will come to live in a different season in the future.

We stayed at Iseya a whole week while visiting my partner’s son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren in a nearby town. We have stayed in Obama previously for the same reason, and the town was just as nice as we remembered. But this was the first time we had stayed at Iseya, and we are so glad we did. The ryokan has been there for centuries but was rebuilt in 2019 and now has all the modern comforts. The in-room private onsen is fantastic, real geothermal spring water, and really hot. The views and sunsets over Tachibana bay are great and we enjoyed watching the local older people play “grand golf” on the town playing field opposite the hotel (with the bay behind) every morning at 7 am. But it is the staff who really make the place special, so friendly, despite our very poor Japanese, and several speak good English. We really felt welcome, despite being the only foreigners staying there on most days. The breakfasts are fantastic, no need for lunch, and different every day. We ate there just one night and the meal was equally good. The housekeeping was immaculate. Overall highly recommended, and although not cheap, not vastly expensive either and definitely good value.

We stayed for 1 night with our family. It is an inn like an inn between a business hotel and a sightseeing inn. I asked for early check-in for the web meeting from 13 o'clock, but I was able to prepare the room properly by time. WiFi was also comfortable and we were able to work at the resort while watching the sea. The meal was delicious, including horse stab and abalone. The view bath was comfortable. The building has a few years, but it is no problem if you don't expect picca. The bathroom in the room was a unit bus and I felt narrow.

There was an outdoor pool and a large bath, but the open-air bath was not available. The staff was friendly and the distance with the guests was just right.

The hotel room was very spacious and clean. Our room faced the east and just next to the sea, so we could watch the sunset with sea view; it was very beautiful! There are men & women salt baths available for guests on the ground floor. There are ample car parking lots. Had breakfast just next to the sea! The spread was quite good with salad, rice, few local dishes, fish, soup, natto, etc. Dinner set meals with fish/sashimi were really fresh and delicious. We had a peaceful and happy stay. Staff were friendly, attentive and warm too. I was surprised to receive a souvenir when I check out!
