Residenza Amalphia

The property is in the best location, also very beautiful. Felt very homely, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The best part, it's run by a lovely and welcoming family. I would highly recommend staying there!

This amazing little apt is a gem! Geraldo, his sister and father were amazing hosts! They made us feel like part of the family ! My daughter and I stayed 4 nights while exploring the coast and their family owned gem was extremely comfortable, immaculate and in a great location! Geraldo communicated with me prior as I had a few questions and he met us at the ferry upon our arrival and had our luggage arranged to go up the hill! His sister( I am sorry as I don’t know how to spell her name) was also amazing in making arrangements for our departure and making sure we were fed the most amazing breakfasts in the morning! It is a proper hotel with the benefit of a genuinely caring family !

Loved everything about this BnB. Geraldo and the family took great care of us. The place was beautiful and charming. Would definitely stay here again in the near future.

Wonderfully located in the heart of Amalfi, this recently renovated building was the Bishop’s home 200 years ago. The family that now own and run this boutique guest house restored many of the wonderful features such as the painted high ceilings but modernised the building with good soundproofing and modern bathrooms. Add to that some very warm hospitality and this is a wonderful place to stay in comfort, where you can enjoy the amazing breakfasts served by the hosts and benefit from their encyclopedic local knowledge. There is more to shout out about but the cheese omelette was exceptional and we ate a very broad mix of excellent food thanks to the very good recommendations.

A truly magical stay. I cannot recommend Residenza Amalphia enough! Gerardo was such a welcoming, experienced, and helpful host. He gave us recommendations for dinner, places to see, and swim that we would have never stumbled across ourselves. Being a brand new place, everything was in impeccable condition. The rooms were spacious, bright, and clean. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Amalfi! I will definitely be back.

All the small things about this place added up to be one of the best bnb experiences I’ve had. Gerardo is such a kind and knowledgeable host, he helped us book a private boat tour when ours got cancelled, made us dinner reservations each night, carried our bags, made us as many espresso as we could handle, and was always there to help make sure our needs were met. Gerardo and his family own and run this brand new boutique and they take great pride in it. My sister and I always felt very welcome and comfortable there, it was hard to leave. We were served with a beautiful breakfast spread every morning and they catered to our GF needs. The rooms were immaculate and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We are so grateful to have found this place, it was such a magical stay in Amalfi, we will be back! Grazie mille!!

15/10. Our favourite accomodation of our month long holiday. Gerado has created an incredible bed and breakfast experience. The facilities are beautiful (recently renovated) and the service is impeccable. Gerado came and met us at the ferry to help guide us to our stay, and was always readily helpful with any questions. His family also made the stay incredible - his sister and his father serve the most incredible buffet breakfast each day, cooking fresh eggs and bacon for us on request daily and providing delicious food all freshly cooked/baked by the father. The location of the Bed and Breakfast is also fantastic - a few steps from the Duomo. Thank you for our stay!

I booked this property and was contacted directly by the owner 24 hrs before my stay was to begin, alerting me to the fact that the ferries weren't running and the main road between Salerno and Amalfi was closed, so no buses running on that route either. Gerardo walked me thru some options to arrive. He followed up multiple times over the next 24 hours, guiding me to a relatively unused bus running from Naples. When that bus arrived in Amalfi, Gerardo met me at the bus stop and helped carry my bags to the hotel. During the stay, he made many recommendations on hiked, restaurants, and kept me informed of the fluctuating situation with the ferries and buses. He sent me the details by Whatsapp of the hikes and restaurants. The hotel itself is brand new. It was the owner's grandfather's apartment. It was just fully renovated in August 2023. Only 5 rooms, mine had a small balcony, king size bed, new soundproof windows and a generously sized bathroom. The breakfast room is bright and cheery and both Gerardo and his father took great care of me. I would definitely stay again. Gerardo's proactive advice during the ferry and road closures was invaluable.
