Right opposite the station and walking distance to the old town. Very clean, quick reception, comfortable bed and hot water. Hotel very basic and a bit shabby.

Cheerful, clean hotel with balcony views over the station and the hills beyond. We were given a warm and helpful welcome, settling into our comfortable room. The hotel is 7 minutes’ walk away from the centre of town and its thriving restaurants. Buffet breakfast was well-stocked and tasty.
The only thing we’d have liked would be a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. Other than this, the hotel was great!

A big journey at 83 years old with a stop in Angouléme: I am very happy to find a simple, clean hotel opposite the station, comfortable bedding, pleasant welcome. I will come back..only one downside: the water takes a long time to heat up, the shower curtain has had its day..A small restaurant opposite is very good.

Spacious room with everything you need… But the lack of parking penalizes this pleasant little hotel. Located opposite the station, the adjacent car parks are paying and very expensive.
