Bacharach-a beautiful town, a cozy hotel, it's really a good memory. There is a city gate (Figure 1) on the front of the hotel, and a small river is under the city gate. A few hundred meters away from the hotel is the center of the town (Figure 2-4). The beautiful German architecture is intoxicating. There is also the church (picture 5). The castle is opposite the hotel. Just climb up the path behind the church. Although it is winter, the coldness is still inferior to the beauty of Bacharach! The hotel room is small, but the accommodation is adequate and the heating is good. The hotel is not small, there are many rooms, it seems to be a mom-and-pop shop, the owner is very nice and patient, and they are very patient when asking for directions. Very satisfied with a stay experience. Bacharach, I will go again, waiting for me!

My daughter and I are in midst of a two week whirlwind tour of Germany and we popped into Bacharach for a singe night- the city looked very cute and we had only a single day available in this immediate region (next couple of days in Koblenz for festival). The hotel reviews were positive and we were very happy we chose staying here. The beds were the comfiest we have had in Germany, and the showers had luxurious water pressure ( my daughters fav part!). Rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast featured a delicious variety of foods, and the town itself absolutely charming. We really enjoyed walking about town! There is a train station and KD boat dock/ stop a few hundred yards away if you want to see other areas and use as a base- not certain about stop frequency, it is a small town after all. We found the staff were kind and had no problems with communicating in English (hooray! My German is very poor) side note- We can also recommend the Schnitzel (and Weissbier) at the Kleines Brauhaus, a circus tent biergarten an easy walk north. Terrific! Cheers and safe traveling!
