Bad location, nowhere near a train station so we had to get taxis everywhere which all added up when we on a tight budget. Once we were out we had to stay out, so we couldn’t go back for a shower or to freshen up after a day out before going for dinner like we usually do. Don’t think this hotel is accommodating for Westerners. Only one person spoke English and of course she can’t be on reception 24/7. There’s a restaurant but wasn’t suitable for us. From our experience there was a LOT of Chinese, with about 10 coaches arriving during our week here (that we saw) and we didn’t see any other Westerners in the hotel during our stay. There was a wake up call at 6.30am, which we asked to turn off for the remaining of our stay. In the mornings at this time the guests on our floor would be VERY loud, shouting and laughing whilst we were trying to sleep, there was probably only one morning where we didn’t wake up to noise. Hotel was very nice and clean. Upon our arrival we had a young man help us with our bags and take us to our room. Reception and the outside look really nice, just like their pictures. Swimming pool is located across the road with a small gym. We didn’t use the pool as it was raining but we noticed there were limited beds/seats. Clean towels and free water provided, nice little balcony, fridge and TV and toiletries. The shower door wouldn’t shut properly but it’s a big shower so luckily the bathroom didn’t get too soaked and slippery. Big bed and a spacious room. No food is allowed in your rooms, so if you order you have to eat outside or in reception, where there were plenty of comfy sofas. Bit random and not related to the hotel, but we were opposite the football pitch where one night there was a game at 4am, which was quite loud, but most nights games would finish around midnight. Also, the lights were left on and one of the window had no blind, so the bright light was coming through. Personally, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Shenzhen Tower Hotel Thonglor Sukhumvit

- Aesthetically pleasing decor throughout the hotel. - simple check in - Location is good, especially if you travel using a bike it’s faster to get around. - lacking attention to detail.. curtains don’t fit the windows properly.. the electricity kept going out - at least 4 times an evening and throughout the night… something about it felt incomplete - no slippers/shower gel in the room, confusion to get basic hand towels/floor mat. - went down for breakfast once and it was crap. Didn’t seem to be much choice. Note: Remind your Chinese staff they don’t need to shout 老外 when they see people who look different to them!! The fact is we are all foreigners to Thailand, including them!! Leave that ignorant behaviour at home, we don’t appreciate it on holiday.

A very good hotel for the price., The hotel is connected to the airport metro and is a very good and clean hotel After coming to the hotel, if you have to go anywhere then it is very easy because the metro is right at the gate. local restaurants, Starbucks and food shops are just outside the hotel.I think this is the cheapest and best hotel in a city like Bangkok.

Looking at Aspira Residence online I expected a good mid class hotel room. What I found was a room which did not even have soap at the sink in the bathroom. No amenities that are normal for this kind of hotel. Just 1 tiny shower gel and shampoo in the shower which was not enough for 2 people. There was a hair dryer in the room but it was not possible to use it in the bathroom as there are no electricity outlets in the bathroom. Using the hair dryer in the room was interesting as I could not use it in front of the mirrow - because there were also no electricity outlets nearby. But THE MAIN PROBLEM for me was that the room was absolutely not sound proof. We heard the other rooms and noice from the streets below all night. There was a water boiler but no choices for coffee and teas, no sugar or creamer. The bed was too hard, also not clean. Several hairs in the bed as well as black spots on the sheet.

First of all, i want to defend this property Glow Sukhumvit 71 hotel. I read some reviews complaining about other customers making excessive noise. If we all was mature respectable and reasonable people then we wouldn't make loud noise after 10 pm as the signs all around the hotel asked. My review is going to be long wifh great details as a worldwide traveler and honored us military veteran. First the customer service front desk clerks are all very professional, they treat me always with a positive professional welcome. Also i have personally talked with the elder security man, he is awesome person. I very much respect him working long hours and helping keep the customers safe. This place is so clean i can say i havent even got biten by any mosquitoes, if you know you know south east asia has many mosquitoes that bites. Also the air conditioner works well. For the price i paid, thats way more compensation $26 / night delux suite with kitchen and balcony, cable tv with free YouTube. House keeping is always so clean and working hard, bed so comfortable and super clean bed sheets. Full size refrigerator and freezer come on, this place deserves 5 stars. As a man i feel safe staying the nights here, i have never seen anyone suspicious looking on property or anything out of ordinary loitering in the clean lobby. Also lobby wifi gives you enough time to ask for grab ride or food delivery. Something not all hotels have available. Keep up the great work

It was a comfortable stay for my stay while doing my visa run. I upgraded my room to junior suite this time because I wanted a room on the top floor. The deluxe B is good enough for the price, I thought. I would definitely stay here again but sometimes, other guests can be quite noisy. I really like how the hotel sometimes gives me room in a different building next to the main one. It’s a bit quieter than the main building.

This is more like a serviced apartment than hotel. Don't expect room facilities beyond basic - the room has fridge, TV and it's pretty much all (no tea-coffee, no restaurant in the building, laundry is self-service). Also, the apartment a bit far from the places like 7-11, pharmacies, etc, which is hard with small child. However, the hotel staff is extra helpful, and it balances any minor disappointments. I'd like to thank hotel manager Ms.Ellie, and cleaning ladies who was patient with our small child. If I'd like to stay in Bangkok one month or more, this is my obvious choice.
