Limehome Barcelona Carrer de Fontcoberta - Digital Access

The hotel was tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable. The biggest problem we had with our room was the shower. They have some device in the drain that makes the water drain extremely slowly and a huge gap between the wall and threshold/shower curb. Being that the threshold is only a couple cm tall, it wouldn't hold much water even without the gap. Water was absolutely everywhere making the shower practically unusable. The other problem we had with our stay was the communication. We received an email saying our room was ready and we could log in to get our room code, but the code never showed up on the website. We waited over an hour for the code to show up then emailed customer service who finally sent the codes via email. It would have been nice if they had at least provided the code to the lobby when we did the check-in so we would have had a place to wait while our room was being prepared. It also would have been nice for them to have a place to store luggage while waiting for our room so we could have gone to eat without dragging suitcases around. While the hotel was nice, I'm not sure I like the concept of no customer service onsite and am not sure I would stay again.

You have to check-in online as there is no reception at the venue. As the online check-in didn’t work I sent a message to Limehome. I’ve sent messages and emails for 2 days and they still didn’t check me in. The only way to contact them is by message or email and it takes hours before you receive an answer or they don’t answer at all. They really are unreliable! Once in the room, if there is something wrong, you can only communicate by WhatsApp. Furthermore, the rooms are small and very noisy. It looks like everybody is partying over there.

Tiny little room and tiny little beds, with a foul sewage smell emanating from the bathroom throughout, and no one to speak to or report issues to; on the positive side, good shower and decent amenities, and the neighborhood it is located in is lovely, albeit quite far from the most popular tourist destinations in the city…

Truly disappointing. No reception desk. All digital. Fine, but codes should have been sent the moment payment was received. We could not enter the building; couldn’t enter our room either. Codes were sent too late. So we spent the first night at a different hotel. No refund either . A shame. Stay away from this fraud

The property was very well-kept, affordable, and located in a spectacular neighborhood. We walked all over Barcelona from the property and never felt like we were too tired to walk back. I also appreciated the work area on the ground floor for my remote office time. All in all, a very nice property.
