Excellent service. People working there were always very helpful whenever assistance was needed. Food was tasty, and the room we booked (suite with swim out) was awesome.
The place is very big, so be aware that there will be quite a bit of walking to get to the lobby (where most restaurants are). When getting ready to leave, you can ask for the bellboys to get the baggage with you back to the lobby in one of the golf cars that they use to move around.

The staff at this resort was amazing! Made my wife and I really enjoy our first time in the DR. We celebrated her birthday and the helped set up decorations and our cabana for the day! Joselito stayed on top of communication and was very polite our entire time!

Pros: great staff, beautiful property, well maintained, great selection of dining options, amazing drinks and good quality alcohol selections.
Cons: lack of tubes for lazy river, repetitive lunch options (non dc), buffet was challenging for someone in a wheelchair.

This was by far the worse all inclusive resort we've been to. The staff at check in and check out take forever to do their job, unless you're willing to tip them. My two year old hated having a bracelet tied to his wrist, so we cut it off and at check out asked to pay $50 for the bracelet and made us go back to the room to find it. Having explained to them that this should have been mentioned at check in and disregarding the fact that we had agreed to pay the $50 but they still wanted us to give back the bracelet. At check in, he tried to explain to us that he's upgrading us, to a resort view room with a king bed made us wait two hours for the same exact room that was booked on *******. I showed him our booking, explainning that this was the same desciption but he wanted to stall us just to get a tip. Furiating! After getting our room keys, which was 6pm by now, only to find an dirty flip flop behind the curtain, which makes me question how well they clean their rooms from one customer to another. When you ask the staff at check in, concierge, or any one that works at the hotel, no one knows the rules of when each restaurant is open, closed, needs reservation .. we had to go ask around ourselves and even then we got different answers. How hard is it to have a list with the timing of each restaurant? The kids club, was so outdated and if you are to keep kids under 4 alone, you would have to pay $20 an hour, and they really don't pay proper attention to the kids.

I don't know what else you could ask for in a resort. The resort grounds were beautiful. The property was well maintained. The service was exemplary. Good restaurant options. Beautiful lobby area. Gorgeous beach, with a long, walkable stretch. The employees of the resort couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. My family upgraded to Diamond Club, which was well worth it. I have young children and this enabled us to skip lines in booking restaurants. This is one thing to be aware of. If you aren't a Diamond Club member, you have to get in line early for the restaurants to reserve a spot at an early time. If you don't have young children, eating late isn't an issue. If you do, I would recommend getting in line early, or, if you don't want to spend time waiting in line, upgrade to Diamond Club, if you can. For us, it was worth it. The upgrade also came with other perks like having a staff member book reservations for you and handle other requests, which they call a "butler." Ours, Ryan, was exemplary. He couldn't have been more helpful, or nicer. He made our stay that much better. This was my first time in Punta Cana and, if I come back, I would not hesitate to stay at Royalton Bavaro, or to recommend it to others. Hope this review helps.

Nothing to do here, beds are gross and the staff isn’t very helpful.
Moved rooms twice and both pull out beds were either moldy or covered in urine.

We enjoyed the resort. The pools and the beach are nice. There are many activities offered but they always make it just a little hard to participate. You spend forever looking for towels or for the beach volleyball to play. You want to play mini golf or billiards but then have to hunt all over to find where you get the clubs or cues and then the person isn't there who is supposed to give them out. There are lots of restaurants but the reservation process is a hassle, etc...

We enjoyed our stay at the Royalton Bravero. The pools and beach were nice. The food was good enough, lots of options. We liked the donner at the Italian restaurant the best. The staff was helpful even though not many people know English.there were lots of children at this resort. At night the evening shows were over run by children. Overall it was a great time.
