Located just in front of the hotel is the Chongwenmen station with two subway lines (line2 and Line5) that provide convenient access to all parts of the city, with Beijing Railway Station 15-min walk and Beijing Capital International Airport 1-hr drive. Most staff in this hotel spoke English and they understand foreigner problems because most our mobile dont work in China so they are helpful with it.
Train station line 2 and 5 are right outside the hotel front door. Most popular street is 1 stop away from line 2 trainstation. Tiananmen are closeby but not too close, which is good. (Tips: do not stay way too close to Tiananmen coz the phone signal will not work, so will have so many problems using the phone)
This hotel have their own Termal spring water system, so its good for spa after whole day walking. Only down side is there is no air conditioning in the rooms but the receptionist provided me a fan, so it no big issue.

A ladies' only set of rooms is also available. Dining options include the Jintai Restaurant, Xizhao Vegetarian Restaurant, Xizhao Teahouse and a lobby bar. A business center and a multifunctional hall are available. Other services include airport pickup, currency exchange and postal service.

Although it is a bit far from the subway station, it is convenient to get a taxi here if you want to go to or from the main scenic spots. The area is very quiet and you can relax and have a good rest.
The hotel is a bit old and shows signs of time, but the room is generally clean and tidy, the bathroom has enough hot water and water, and there is a bathtub for bathing.
The breakfast options are quite diverse, and there are also several choices of drinks.
The only downside is that the staff are not very familiar with the hotel facilities. When asked where the gym is, some said there is none, some said it is next to the front desk. Finally, I found it but the staff said it was not open and it did not look like a gym.

Building A was the original part of hotel with history. The room looks a bit dated. Booked high floor which avoided noisy tour group staying at lower floors. However, all balconies’ doors are locked so the view was limited. The balconies seems they haven’t been cleaned for long time. The check in was slow, especially if tour group checking in at the same time. Though the hotel on building A wasn’t as expected, I still recommend it for its location and convenience.

Nice to find a hotel that offers family room for 4 in a single room - I guess in China it’s still rare for there to be more than 1 child in a family!
The room was a good size with a very comfortable super king bed that fits 3 persons and an additional single bed.
Bathroom was big with bath and separate rain shower.
Bar was closed (for good??). Annoying as we had family who came to visit and wanted to have a drink together that isn’t just wine. At least offer some beer in your restaurant if the bar is closed.
Breakfast was vast, lots of choice. But for the price I would expect better包子 and 油条. Felt like they came from a packet, not freshly made. I can get so much better on a street cart for less than £1, so very disappointing that a five star hotel cannot make decent Chinese staples. I would say the 豆腐脑, and 葱花饼 was lovely, and I stuck with this for the duration of the stay.

The hotel located at Wangfujing, near attraction places like Temple Of Heaven, Tian’men Square and The Forbidden City and it has easy access to public transport. As for breakfast, there’s a lot to be choose from, and for Muslim guest, there’s some halal selection (you need to look for the halal remark and choose wisely). Staff can communicate in English very well. I will definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay at Wangfujing area.
The St. Regis Beijing is located in the heart of Beijing’s quiet, diplomatic compound in a noble setting only 400 meters away from a city highway leading you directly to Beijing Capital Airport or Railway South Station. The St. Regis butler service is indeed a special service. This time when I came to St. Regis, I met Candice from the butler department. She was very enthusiastic and considerate to help me solve many problems, so that I could have a very comfortable experience in St. Regis. The nightfall ceremony of the St. Regis Beijing, sabering champagne, was full of ritual, and I was very fortunate to be able to cut the champagne on the last night of 2024. I am very grateful for the hotel's warm hospitality and Candice's caring and warm service.

Nice designed room but flawed execution.
The wash basin cannot be accessed for any maintenance or repairs.
Water pressure in the shower was passable after maintenance came.
The hairdryer in the room overheats very very quickly. Housekeeping came with another but it was the same.
I stayed for 3 nights and after the 1st night the WiFi slowed to a crawl. I mentioned it but to no avail.
The bottled water supplied could only be opened with brut force by the maintenance guy. I had to get the daily replacements preopened by the maintenance guy before leaving them in the room.

It is an old hotel with outdated facilities. The large high windowsills in the rooms take up a lot of space. If they were changed into balconies, it would be much more spacious. Outside is the Beijing Seine River - Liangma River, and the night view is very nice.

We chose this hotel mainly because it is so close to our loved ones in Beijing. The experience was beyond our expectations. Staff were polite and helpful. Room cleaning staff were especially friendly and helpful. The service is top notch in international standards. During family hardship we found comfort in this hotel. Thank you!

This is a very nice hotel, but has hit the edge of skimping to survive. That being said, its price makes it attractive. The quality of the front end staff is poor, with a few exceptions. The housekeeping staff and workers were very polite, however most of the greeting staff seemed indifferent to antagonistic. Not just to me as a foreigner but every interaction i witnessed. I only encountered one English speaking manager and all others would not engage, but instead coldly point, despite my speaking Chinese (albeit not well). The rooms are HUGE and despite the presence of an ashtray in my no smoking room, my room did not smell like smoke. The pool is quite large, but the hot tub was disappointingly not hot and the same temp as the pool. Good shower pressure. The bathroom lights do not turn off, which was odd, but there is an opaque door. All and all, it’s good for the price, unless you were going for the hot tub as a feature like I was.

GGuest UserWe truly enjoyed our stay at 前门漫心. They were very attentative and thoughtful right when we arrived at the hotel. Hot pear soup were served to warm us up while they settled our check in.
The front desk noticed that it is my girl's birthday the next day and asked if we would like to have a surprise for her. We were expecting a small piece of cake, but they surprised us with a whole room filled with the balloons and decorations. This is definitely a fond memory for my girl.
The staff helped to order takeaways for my sick child ( one even offered to cook for her) and helped booked our 相声tickets too. Appreciate all their kind gestures.

GGuest UserThe environment is very good, there are many shops around, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the hotel is fully equipped, the service is good, and the environment is hygienic. The decoration is very elegant, the sound insulation effect is very good, it is a quality accommodation choice
GGuest UserThe room supply was tight during the Spring Festival. We booked a room at 9pm. We wanted a quiet room away from the road, and it was satisfied. The soundproofing was OK. It was quiet if you were away from the road, but you could hear the noise in the corridor. It was not noisy and was very quiet when you were sleeping. The fresh air system was easy to use, the screen projection was simple, and the service was also very good. Necessities, water and drinks were provided. The room service was fast, and there was a robot for delivering meals, so you didn't need to go downstairs. The quality of the breakfast buffet in the morning was also very good. If you have a lot of luggage, the manager downstairs will help you bring the luggage up. There is a printer on the first floor, which can print documents, which is not inferior to the 5-star hotel I stayed in before.
MMilkytea LeeNeed to compliment the service staffs here, very helpful and kind, especially Ms Su. She helped us double check our train tickets. We didn't have local number so the staffs also help to use their personal phone to do food ordering for us. We have some parcels sent to the hotel and had some issues, the frontdesk also help to talk to logistic people to arrange them to resend the correct item. All in all I will come back just for the service staffs. Located near train station which is nearby alot of attractions.
JJulia CLWe got confused after we checked in and noticed that there wasn't a door into the bathroom. Called the housekeeping, and they informed that the door was removed because it was spoilt. I think its rather irresponsible to not inform beforehand. The room was changed after complaining. The new room, not sure if it's because it's winter, it's like a sauna in the room! Even the corridor is cooler than the room! There is nothing we can do to adjust the temperature and with the direct sunlight shining in, it just makes it worse.
During checking in, I enquired about some day tours but the front office staff couldn't give much information. Generally, the staff are not very enthusiastic and friendly.
The plus point is the location. It is about 5 mins walk from Xidan metro station. Lots of food and shopping around the hotel.
PphottigimathThe service was really good. We enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly. It is very near to the railway station, so it was really convenient. I should really appreciate the cleanliness, the rooms and the bathrooms were extremely clean. It was an amazing stay. All the staff did a really great job. Extremely happy.
PS: the receptionist was very handsome. So extra happy😁

AAB BalochA Night of Comfort and Hospitality at Jingli Hongyizhan Hotel (Beijing Dongzhimen Sanlitun Branch)
I recently had the pleasure of spending a night at the Jingli Hongyizhan Hotel (Beijing Dongzhimen Sanlitun Branch), and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
Location
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Situated near Dongzhimen and Sanlitun, it offers easy access to some of Beijing's most vibrant areas. Whether you're looking to explore the trendy bars and restaurants in Sanlitun or need to commute via public transport from Dongzhimen, everything is just a stone's throw away. I was able to quickly reach popular attractions and business areas, which made my trip extremely convenient.
Check - in Process
Upon arrival, the front - desk staff greeted me with warm smiles and professionalism. They were efficient in handling my check - in, providing all the necessary information about the hotel facilities and services. Any questions I had were answered patiently, and they even offered some great local tips on where to grab a late - night snack, which was very thoughtful.
Room
My room was a haven of comfort. It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows and high - quality linens that ensured a restful night's sleep. The room was equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, including a flat - screen TV, a well - stocked minibar, and a powerful air - conditioning system that maintained a perfect temperature throughout the night. The bathroom was spotless, with a great shower that had strong water pressure and provided a refreshing experience.
Service
The service at this hotel is top - notch. The housekeeping staff made sure my room was in perfect condition, and the concierge was always available to assist with any requests. I needed some help with printing a few important documents, and they took care of it promptly and without any hassle. The hotel staff also showed great attention to detail. For example, when they noticed that I had left my water bottle empty, they quietly refilled it for me during the evening turn - down service.
Value for Money
Considering the prime location, excellent service, and comfortable accommodation, the Jingli Hongyizhan Hotel offers great value for money. It provides a high - quality experience at a reasonable price, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.
In conclusion, my stay at the Jingli Hongyizhan Hotel (Beijing Dongzhimen Sanlitun Branch) was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing. Whether you're in town for a short business trip or a long - awaited vacation, this hotel will surely make your stay in the capital city a memorable one. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel with my family and it was an absolute delight! This place is a haven for families seeking comfort and convenience. The room was incredibly spacious, allowing us to move around comfortably. My son was over the moon with the bathtub – it was a definite highlight of his stay!
One standout feature was the presence of two bathrooms, which proved to be a game-changer in terms of convenience. No more morning rush hour! I must give a special shout-out to the desk guy, Leo, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. His excellent service truly made a difference.
The location is also a major plus – surrounded by numerous restaurants, we were spoiled for choice when it came to dining options. It's a huge relief not having to venture far for a delicious meal.
All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations and provided us with a fantastic family experience. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit!
DDr. Julio BernalWe love this hotel for the location and the size of the room. The place is very luxurious but one thing that can be improved is the temperature for the rooms. They over used the heater and we had to ask to lower it. It still felt too warm. We asked them to open the room window but still it was too hot. The breakfast was very good with some room for improvement. The buffet looked cramped in an area of the restaurant. The location of some of the items wasn’t the most strategically. For instance, to grab some fruit you have to be practically on top of other items of the salad bar. People could literally breath on top of the food. Overall this hotel is great but it needs a major upgrade in the rooms and the wet area of the gym/pool. The showers there need some work. The steam room wasn’t working. Only the dry sauna worked. It need better cleaning as well
