Guanganmen Grand Metropark Hotel Beijing

Beijing West Railway Station Area
I highly recommend this hotel especially for foreigners (since it can host foreigners under the Chinese regulations). The location is very convenient - super close to the subway station (3 min-walk). The price is reasonable-great for the value. The hotel is clean. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. Every staff is EXTREMELY helpful and friendly, especially John at the front desk. I also had evening snack delivered by a pink robot - which is super cool. I have stayed at numerous hotels across the US and this one definitely stands out!

Xidan and Financial Street Area
Rooms were nice and new and hotel is located at a quiet but convenient spot right next to the metro station. However, the hotel only offered 2 bottles of free water a day and both robots weren't functioning during our stay so we had to pick-up food from the lobby. Other than the rooms, the hotel itself is quite old and lifts were slow. Also the TV didn't support screencast which was a let down. Overall, stay was quite pricey for what was given.

China International Exhibition Center Area
I had a great stay during a business trip. My room was spacious and its position on the corner meant it was quite sound proof. I rarely get consecutive good night sleep at business hotels in China but this was the exception. Attentive staff who even brought an iron and an ironing board to my room at midnight when I released I didn’t have one in the room. It’s close to downtown Beijing which can be accessed by the Sanyuanqiao station. It’s about a 10 min walk from the hotel, a little complicated because you have to go under an underpass. Just follow your map and you’ll get there in no time. Taxi is also really easy and can pick you up from the front door. They also have a waimai cabinet for Meituan, so your deliveries will go there.

Daxing Eco-agriculture Tourist Area
The hotel features hot springs. The hotel's hot spring water is rich and warm, suitable for relaxation. The hot spring pools in the hotel are reasonably distributed, with multiple hot spring pools with different functions, including more than a dozen medicinal baths and private pools, suitable for couples or family groups, with good privacy. There are also open-air hot spring pools: you can enjoy the surrounding natural scenery while soaking in the hot springs. The rainforest environment inside the glass roof is quiet and the air is fresh. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty while soaking in the hot springs or playing water sports. The hotel's architecture and park design are integrated with the surrounding natural scenery, increasing the overall sense of vacation. There are parent-child parks, billiards, table tennis, sand pots and other recreational facilities in the hotel. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the decoration level is also very good, and there are multiple restaurants and golf courses. Overall, it is worth going to play and stay.

Pinggu Urban Area
I booked this hotel mainly to go to Beishan Mountain Road to see the red leaves. It takes about 8 minutes to drive from the hotel. The room is relatively large, with a sofa. The bed is relatively low but it is the hard mattress we like. The shower should be heated by electricity, and the water will be hot and cold. The hotel has four guest rooms, with a courtyard in the middle. There are many kittens in the courtyard, which attracts many children to play with cats. Check-in and restaurant are on the same building. If you live in Building 1, you have to walk through the courtyard. It is autumn and the leaves are colorful and very beautiful. There is nothing near the hotel. You can only eat in the hotel. The dinner in the set meal is changed to a buffet, 128 yuan per person, but the variety of food is less and not worth the price. Breakfast is available on the first and second floors. The food should be the same. You can basically eat enough, but there is nothing special. The hotel should have a swimming pool, but I can't comment on it without going there. The parking lot downstairs is free.
